Title: Map Issues

I just finished making a very pretty and detailed map for my RP. When I logged on as my character to go and test the map before posting the link to the download, I couldn't get into the map because I got the "Failed to Connect to map server, Retry?" messege. The map has worked for me before when I was logged onto my FH character, but now suddenly I'm having trouble. Is this a problem that will resolve itsself when the map servers reboot? Or is there something I have to do to fix it? Any help would be appreciated~ I just want to know if there's something I need to do to resolve this issue.

The 'Failed to connect to map' can be a occasional thing for some users. If you can't get into a map (in this case, one you made), go to 'user panel' in the top right corner of the site and send your character home. Then try getting in game again. If it doesn't work wait about 5 minutes or so.

But, that's usually how I solve it.

Thank you very much for replying~ I tried to do what you said, going into the map and if it didn't work, send my character to home and try again in five minutes. Unfortunately I'm currently still getting the "Could not connect to server, retry?" Messege. Is there anything else that can be tried? Or do I simply have to wait for this problem to resolve itsself? Thanks again for the suggestions~

Ok I tried something that worked. For anyone else who has this issue with a custom made map giving you the "cannot connect to server, retry?" Messege. What I did is I simply opened the map through mapmaker and made a 2nd version of the map by simply saving it as "Name-Of-MapV2" and then exporting it. Then I deleted the old map file and rearranged the portals to go to this one and presto! It worked. Thank you ~Stargazer~ For taking the time to try and help me, and thanks to everyone who read this. I hope it can help others having a similar problem in the future~
