Title: How custom group maps work.

So yeah this isnt really an issue thread.I was really just wondering how custom maps work,People give their groups custom maps,when they download the map and go the cape of worlds to enter do they see the other people who have downloaded that map that are inside when they enter?Like,if i made a custom map and when to cape of worlds and entered,And then gave someone else the map download and they installed and entered the map would they see me?I know this is stupid question but im fairly new to all this mapping business and help would be appreciated.I hope people can understand my question.

 Yes. So, say I make a map and post the download link. Whoever downloads it can go into the map via Cape of Worlds and it's just like a public map. So, they can see you. c:

 Custom maps are maps that are made by people using the map maker feature that is located in the game itself. When a completed map is done the maker of the maps upload all there content to a file sharing site such as Dropbox or mediafire.
As long as users have the exact same map that was made by you from that link you provided, then they will be able to enter your custom map.
