This sounds like a case of infection in your computer. :/ Ad-ware or spyware cookies probably.

If you didn't, you can download Mbam (http://www.malwarebytes.org/), and download the free version. After downloading, then you can scan your computer to see if your computer has a bad malware infection.

The FH forums/website normally has ads to the side of the page, but no pop-ups that I know of. Have you reciently downloading anything? Viruses sometimes cause ads to randomly popup on the web, or even on your desktop. I'd try running a anti-virus scan like Malware Bytes, and if that doesn't work, try another browser.

MalwareBytes is found: Here. (http://MalwareBytes.com)
Just use the free trial. ^^ MalwareBytes is very safe and very good.

EDIT: This belongs in Forum Help, floof. ^^

FeralHeart does not display malware ads on the pages, however if you have been browsing around less carefully on the internet before, your computer could've been infected and display inappropriate ads as soon as you start up the browser or load a page.

The issue you appear to be having is not really related to the FH site, rather your computer or browser I believe.

As mentioned above, you really should do some virus scans and make sure you don't have something fishy laying around on it, or maybe let someone that is very familiar with computers to take a look at it. Something like malware ads popping up randomly shouldn't be left unattended.

If you don't have any proper antivirus installed(like you should), I'd personally suggest getting AVG Free for the time being, it does the job well, however the option of malwareBytes work too.

One of the coolest things about Chrome is the silent, automatic updates that always ensure that users are always running the latest version. While Chrome itself is updated automatically by Google, that update process also includes Chrome's extensions, which are updated by the extension owners. This means that it's up to the user to decide if the owner of an extension is trustworthy or not, since you are basically giving them permission to push new code out to your browser whenever they feel like it.

To make matters worse, ownership of a Chrome extension can be transferred to another party, and users are never informed when an ownership change happens. Malware and adware vendors have caught wind of this and have started showing up at the doors of extension authors, looking to buy their extensions. Once the deal is done and the ownership of the extension is transferred, the new owners can issue an ad-filled update over Chrome's update service, which sends the adware out to every user of that extension.

As they said you may have a Virus.
I recomond this ----> https://www.malwarebytes.org/ (https://www.malwarebytes.org/)
Just download it and then scan.
Remove EVERYTHING it finds. Even it sounds silly it can be horrible.
