For Christmas, I got a brand new ASUS laptop with Windows 8 on it. When I try downloading FH onto it, it does not download completely and when I try installing it a message pops up that tells me the files are corrupted. I'm not completely new to FH, and it worked on my Toshiba laptop that is now broken. I've played FH before, but then my laptop broke and I couldn't retrieve my files. Please help. I've missed FH so much... :-[ Whenever I go into my OS, I click on the FH file and open the installer. The read-me pops up for a second and then disappears. Then a message saying "FeralHeart.exe has stopped working." Sometimes the installer will open, but when I click OK the same message appears.

This has happened to me as well, though it managed to be fixed. Perhaps try restarting your laptop, then downloading the install again. If you have Google Chrome (if you do use it) and it blocks you because of "virus" and such, I assure you Feral Heart does not have any of these and it is completely safe. If you do trust this and want to download Feral Heart, simply Click the Chrome menu ((https://storage.googleapis.com/support-kms-prod/SNP_2696434_en_v1)) Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
Go to Settings.
Press "Show advanced settings..." and find the "Privacy" section.
Uncheck the "Enable phishing and malware protection" checkbox.

If your PC is saying that the FH files are corrupted, I'd try using another browser like Firefox, Internet Explorer etc. Like Oreo said, FH doesn't have any viruses/malicious programs. That is, as long as you download from this site. We can't assure all mods made by users are virus free. I'll PM you Mass Markings 3, and any popular items packs if you'd like. ^^

Same thing. It will download to about 50%, a message telling me Windows SmartScreen blocked something that could possible harm my computer pops up. I click on Run Anyway, but the corrupted files message pops up again.

Are you downloading the 'download' or 'torrent'?

The regular download. I don't have a torrent reader or whatever, so I can't get the torrent.

Did you try turning off the Windows Smartscreen, if possible?

I just turned off Windows SmartScreen. I'm about to try and download FH now.

No-go. Files still say they are corrupted. SmartScreen is off, no other devices are connected to my Wi-Fi, and the thing with Chrome is disabled.

I believe I have fixed it.
Pretty sure it was the antivirus software's fault. My trial for it expired. Right now it is downloading DirectX.
I guess we'll see ^^

I accidentally uninstalled it and I'm trying to reinstall it.
I don't have any anti-virus software anymore none of my other devices are connected to the internet either. But now I can't even download it in my OS. It claims I "don't have the permission to save files here."
When I use IE, it only downloads to 3-10%.

That's very strange. Are you the administrator on the PC?

I've gotten it so it will download in the OS if I create a new folder in there, but other then that it's the same.

It's working now.
I found out I cannot have any other thing going on my computer. I can't click on anything, open anything, or play anything. I just have to sit and wait.

I seem to be having the same issue, and as I am not new to FH I would really like to get it back on my laptop. I had to do a factory reset on my laptop and therefore the game was removed. When I attempted to download the game exactly as I did before it wouldn't work. Once I clicked the download button it took me to http://adf.ly/toznl (http://adf.ly/toznl) and I click skip this ad and it asks me to sign into FH and then click proceed with download. When I click that it takes me to http://adf.ly/uBYKM (http://adf.ly/uBYKM) so just like before I skip the ad and the download proceeds. It asks me if I want to run or save FHSetup.exe so I click run. It gets to about 5% then says FHSetup.exe couldn't be downloaded. I retry and it says the same thing. Please help I really want to get FH back.
