Bio: Bred to be next in a long line of Agility trial champions, Bentley was trained hard from the start- with big shoes to fill, both parents being champions themselves. At age two he began his agility career, which quickly proved his sharp skills as he won show after show. However, as a 3 year old, he and his owner were involved in a horrid car accident. While he came out of the accident with a severely broken foreleg, his owner was not so lucky- and was pronounced dead at the scene. The veterinarians had no choice but to amputate his badly broken foreleg. Left in a separate shelter after the operation, people were quick to line up and adopt the champion agility dog with him being so valuable. The people who ended up adopting him turned out to be quite careless upon discovering the dog's agility career was over, him only having three legs now- which he was still adjusting to. His new humans saw him as useless, and worth nothing to their profit anymore. Neglected, malnourished, and sickly, he was found by the Paws Crossed staff abandoned in an alleyway, and is now on a road to recovery in the hands of the shelter. Though he now shows an obvious distrust of humans, and will quickly go on the defensive out of fear.

Tellia's pads tapped against the ground looking for her close friend, Bently. She looked around and spotted a staff, she stopped and turned to them with a small bark the staff nodded and pointed to the eating room, she barked as a thanks and trotted into the room, and sat down by Bentley and spoke up, "They are giving, food out early? Wow." It was quite unusual indeed for the staff to feed this early.

The collie was already fully aware of being directed towards the feeding room, and was already sitting before a filled dog bowl when Idina padded in. Pausing his mindless eating of the food, Bently raised his sleek had to raise an eyebrow at the sheltie mix. "Maybe, but I'm not complaining." He replied with a grin, his bushy tail swaying side to side. With everything that's happened, he'd learned to appreciate the little things in life- like an early feeding time. "Here, have some." He suggested, nosing another bowl close to Idina. "Why do you think the people are givin' us our food so early?" The border collie questioned after swallowing a mouthful, his cropped ears splaying with confusion as he glanced at his friend- body posture in its usual low, submissive stance.

Idina gave a little shrug to the gesture and said "Eh...why not?" With a light smile she walked closer to the bowl and leaned her head in and started to chomp the food down, she glanced to him and his words, a awful taste filled her mouth she spat the good put and said "This isn't the food they give us." She eyed the food, she looked at his bowl and flipped it over seeing something fly into the air she then said "Spit it out!! A dog got out and I guess they put sleeping pills in our food." She knew who it was too, she glanced to a Doberman named Gunther, she glared at him as he smirked, she then turned back Bentley she then spoke "I don't know why he hates me so much." She glanced behind her as Gunther opened his cage and lunged at her, before she could react she barreled over on her spine she then said "Augh! Help!" In a worried tone about what was going to happen to her, her fangs blared as Gunther, bit her neck raising her high in the air and slamming her down "Ahh!" Idina said as she was high in the air she panicked squirming pain shot through her as she was slammed down.

Bio: Ryoko was born from a dog breeder, who bred top quality Akitas, mainly for showing/competitions. Roko spent 8 weeks with his birth family and was soon shipped off to another home with a small couple. Ryoko wasn't there long and he knew he would like this family, and hoped they liked them. Unfortionately the family had no experience on the 'Akita' breed and hadn't done one bit of research, once realising what they had gotten themselves into the two humans began thinking of what to do. They had just gotten the pup and spent a lot of money on him so of course they wanted to keep him, but they were also concerned about the size this canine would grow to. After many days of thinking they finally decided the best thing for Ryoko would be to go elsewhere. Instead of advertising the pup online or in a paper they put him straight into the shelter, not giving him a first shot of life. But since he's been here Ryoko has realised its somewhere he can call home and is thankful.
Bio: When a pup Tasha was brought up on a farm that consisted of several other working dogs, a family of five (mother, father, two sons and a daughter). They owned a large farm filled with cattle that they trained and used the dogs on until they were ready. Once reaching 9 weeks Tasha was set off on her new home all trained and ready. A man with dark hair, thin, scars and a stubbled beard bought her. The first few weeks went well but suddenly took a turn for the worst. The human began abusing Tasha when ever she done one thing wrong, and it began to happen if he was angry or for no reason-he would kick, punch, nip, throw, stab, stamp and sometimes even bite her. It had also gotten to the point when he allowed his Pitbull Marik and his friends dogs attack her, just like a bait dog. Her injuries and trauma were pretty severe and they dumped her on a rubbish tip left to die at the age of 1 years. Tasha had given up all hope and assumed she would die-pain filling her body. But to her luck a human in uniform came and spoke reassuring, kind words that made her feel better. Her wounds were treated and she was placed in a warm bed in a large cage with food. Not, Tasha remains at the shelter with a new start to her life-and despite her past she's a cheerful canine.

The pups tail wagged as he sat at the door to his cage-his ears erect and his tail wagging as the pup let out many playful yips to the much larger dogs. Hearing the jingling of keys the young Akita leapt to his paws and let out a slightly deep bark, his tail rapidly wagging as he leapt up at the door. "Hey Roko, you hungry?" one of the workers he knew as Karen. Nodding his head he let out a bark then charged towards the door-but was soon pushed backwards as he ran into the door. Falling back clumsily he remained sprawled across the floor-shaking his head as he lifted to his paws. Karen chuckled as she unlocked the pups door "Come on! she encouraged and obediently the pup followed-but with a close eye onto him. Entering the food room he glanced around, his huge puppy eyes darting from one canine to another as he let out several more barks and playful growls-his tail continuing to wag. Looking up at the female he tilted his head "Go on.." she smiled and so he did. Trotting towards the metal bowl his tail curled around his back. Stopping infront of the full bowl he grinned, and without hesitating Ryoko allowed his head to drop into the bowl and his jaws parted-now, he had begun to wolf down the food.
The chocolate Kelpie remained asleep for several minutes, the slow motion of her breathing being almost unnoticable. The continuous sounds of dogs barking and cats meowing caused her eyes to slowly part-it seemed most residents of the shelter were already being lead to the food room. Licking her lips Tasha arched back her head slightly and parted her jaws-a whine like sound coming out-her jaws then clamping shut. Giving a brisk shake to her head Tasha soon lifted to her paws, pushing out her hind legs and bowing her front end a little as a stretch-not feeling ready for the day. Letting out several barks Tasha clawed at the door to her cage trying to catch someones attention-her tail wagging as she jerked back with each bark. It didn't take long for Tasha to get one of the workers attention, Aaron-a nice young man he was. "Hello there girl, I see you're eager to get out and have some breakfast?" he chuckled as he unlocked the door to her cage and knelt down. Smiling she trotted towards the dark haired male and barked as he petted her across the head. Watching his hand gestures and listening to his commands Tasha knew she was able to make her own way to the room. Barking she turned and quickly trotted off, the door already being open allowing others into the room. Looking around she recognised most of the canines here and dipped her head as she passed them. Stopping at one of the bowls she crouched down and began chomping down on the kibble that filled her bowl.

As she was lifted into the air by her collar once again, until her collar finally broke she landed on her food bowl, Gunther growled walking towards her with a smirk, Idina glared, she stood up her legs shaking as the Doberman known as Gunther lifted her up by throat this time.

Whisper layed in her cage, her paws tucked under her and her tail curled around her side. She glanced over to Harley and chuckled at the sight. He was nose deep in the food, as if he hadn't esten in a month. She chuckled lightly and purred. "I bet you would get a better view if you didn't have yourself in the bowl." She said with a mrow of laughter. Harley's head popped up and he laughed sarcastically. "Very funny Whisper." He hissed. She knew he was just joking, they've never fought with eachotheu.

Personality: Kriset is rather stern, strict, and serious. Survival is his only focus in life. However, he can get a little prideful of himself at times, as well as hard-headed in his own ways. Though he would normally want his own way, he will back down and allow those who are higher than him to direct the plan, or give him an order. He isn't afraid to start a fight and is gumption, however if things get out of hand, he'll back down and try to stop it. Otherwise, Kriset is sharp-tongued and quite the silent one.

Bio: Kriset ended up in the animal shelter, and he believes it was after he was born. He doesn't know his parents, nor does he care. However, the love from her only lasted for a day, when abruptly she passed away. He then was brought to this shelter, and now is cared for there.

Ren glanced around his pen quickly. His eyes flashed quicker than his head could keep up. He was very impatient at the moment, but he himself did not know why. He got up quickly, speed-walking to his water dish. He lapped at the water, hoping it would calm him down a bit. Sadly, it did not. He paced in circles, not knowing why he was so jittery.

Bentley flicked his ears forward to catch Idina's words, nodding occasionally whilst he ate. "N'aw, it's not that bad. I mean- better than nothing." The border collie said as he swallowed another mouthful of the dog food. He nodded in response to Idina's departing phrase and licked his white muzzle clean of a few crumbs, watching as his friend wandered off. Letting out a subtle huff, he clumsily slid his single foreleg forward to lower himself into a laying position, wobbling a bit to steady his always uneasy balance once reaching it. Blowing a faint huff from his nostrils, Bentley flicked his ear at the newcomers to the feeding room, though he wasn't quite willing to expel the effort it took to get back to his three unsteady feet to greet them, so instead he dipped his head in a silent greeting to them.

The cattle dog peered from behind the bars as he laid in the kennel. The scent of food entered his nostrils as he blinked, hearing human footsteps come his way. Without a word, he poked his head out of the kennel, before silently following the worker out of the door - to where the feeding area was. As he darted in, his eyes surveyed the area, and he immediately spotted Bently, silently greeting others with a dip of his head. Kriset had always been interested in the collie - seeing his three legs made him question what had happened to the fourth. Returning his attention onto the bowl mounted with pellets, the cattle dog began to consume them. Once he had finished, he sat up, swiping his tongue around his muzzle in attempt to collect any crumbs of the pellets. His gaze swept around the him, and seeing Bently, the cattle dog trotted over towards him, dipping his head in greeting of the three-legged collie. "Hey," Kriset barked, plopping his haunches onto the floor. "How's everything going?" With a casual lift of his hind leg, he scratched furiously behind his ear, while keeping his gaze on Bently.

It didn't take long for the Akita pup to finish his breakfast, and boy was he full. Like most pups once eating he did look incredibly plump. Stepping back from the bowl Ryoko allowed a burp escape past his lips, chuckling at himself the pup went back to looking around. His tail remained curled as it rapidly wagged-excitement filling the young pup as he looked around at all the canines. Although he didn't know many and he did get quite lonely-the only ones he knew were the humans. Trotting towards the window he soon plopped himself underneath and glared around, his tail tapping against the ground as he parked at a few passing canines-he was eagre to play.
Once finishing her kibble Tasha lifted her head from the silver bowl and looked around, many canines continued to enter and exit the food room. Allowing her tongue to wipe across her lips taking away any food that was left there-her tail continued to wag as she noticed Kristen and Bently. Although right now they seemed busy talking so she decided to just leave them. Looking to her left she noticed Trent, a male Retriever in a playful bow. Barking she lunged after the canine she regularly romped around with. Although it wasn't exactly play time the two continued running around clumsily.

As Bentley lay, mind drifting, a voice quickly caught his attention. Flicking his cropped ears forward, he glanced up to notice the Australian cattle dog sitting nearby. "Oh- hello." He responded with a quick smile, casually tipping his head at the cattle dog's question. "Heh, pretty okay so far, I mean- things could be worse." Bentley trailed off a bit after a shrug, then adjusted his forepaw for leverage as he sat up onto his haunches, wobbling a bit at first. "Anyway, I've seen you around here, but never introduced myself. I'm Bentley." The border collie stated with a kind smile, though the fact that the stranger didn't immediately gawk at his missing foreleg like all the others seemed to do puzzled him.

Bio: Akihiro had moved from Japan at an early age, forced into adoption by his two owners who mis-treated him. After being adopted by an elderly woman, Aki spent most of his time by her side until she died from a heart attack a few months later. Akihiro, still young and scared, remained in the house where he basically starved. After being found by the organization, he was taken in and was considered one of the 'special cat' members, loved by those around him, even though he doesn't like being in the center of attention.

He thought about everybody who was here, and how little he knew any of them. It somewhat disturbed him. I can't believe that I have been here for such short time, but yet I barely know anything about anybody here. When he was finished, the woman led him back to his kennel. He paced past a couple of dogs, dipping his head in greeting. He could talk to them if he wanted to, but he felt to different at the time.

She glared at him he smirked and said "Oh princess, forgive and forget, no?" Idina then replied "Yep, your right no." She spat in a rather rude tone, Gunther growled and said "Why you little!!!" He lunged at her barreling over, she herself was surprised as Gunther snarled loudly preventing her from standing up by being above her, the staff glanced to the hall way at the sound of large barking and growls, 2 staff ran seeing Idina being pinned and one tried to drag Gunther off but Gunther staid right there until he reacted and lunged at the human in rage, they ran trying to find their boss, Idina got up and tried to run but Gunther stepped on her tail causing her to freeze in place with a loud yipe.

Ren watched Idina and the unknown dog in shock. He barked at the massive dog pinning her down. "Stop it! Stop!" He continued to bark, flinging himself at the kennel cage walls, trying to get out to stop the dog from hurting her. He cut his ear and muzzle on a stray piece of metal and winced slightly, but returned his focus to the other pen.

Gunther ignored Ren and grabbed Idina and lifted her into the air by her bandana "Ahhh!" Idina screamed and squirmed, Gunther raised her as high as his neck can reach and shook her by her bandana viscouosly until the bandana broke as she flew ink the wall with a loud 'Bang'. Gunther smirked and grabbed her paw and viscouosly tossed her back into the wall, she let out a large yipe as it echoed through the rescue the owner barged in with a dog whistle and blew it causing Gunther to whine loudly and fall to the ground pawing at his ears, the boss glared at Gunther and grabbed his collar and dragged him into his kennel, the boss ran to the lobby trying to get help for Idina.

He noticed a hole in the pen cage and squirmed through it, pacing over to Idina, who was slumped over by a wall. Ren nudged her with his muzzle. "Hey.. Idina?" He nudged her again, licking her face. "Idina - Can you stand?" He asked her.

Ryoko was completely oblivious to what was happening in the hall way near the cages, although he did see many staff rushing around but he just thought they were going around their daily business. Huffing, the youngster allowed himself to drop to the floor-a scowl across his face as he let out a sigh. A familiar voice and face appeared infront of him causing his head to lift-his tail wagged as he recognised the human as Karen. "C'mon boy! Come play!" she encouraged and with that Roko hurled himself to his paws and darted towards Karen who was holding a squeaky toy. Squeezing it she began waving it around infront of the pup causing him to bat it with his paws and make attempts in grabbing it. Watching as the staff member threw the toy he darted after it-his hind legs kicking out as he bounded over clumsily. Dipping his head to grab the toy he snagged it up in his jaws, but whilst doing so he skidded around and toppled over-basically like a rolly-poly. Sitting down for a few seconds the Akita pup gave a brisk shake to his head then lifted to his paws, running playfuly back to Karen.
Hearing a yelp Tasha skidded to a halt and glanced out the door and across towards the kennels-as usual she spotted Guthner and she istantly assumed he would be involved in the commotion. Although Tash liked getting involved in thinks she decided to let this slip, besides she was in the middle of playing with Trent. Shrugging she whirled back around and lunged towards the Retriever who seemed to have a tug-rope hanging loosely from his jaws. "Come on Tasha, I'll beat you!" he barked shaking the toy with a grin and his tail wagging. Chuckling Tasha skidded to a hald infront of the male "Let!" she barked and grabbed the toy-her tail continuing to wag. As the two canines pulled on the rope they playfully growled and pawed at one another hoping to put the other off, their heads violently jerking back as they pulled on the rope.

Whisper awoke when she heard food being poured into her dish. The staff worker scratched her behind the ears then shut the cage. When she looked around, she realized Harleyu wasn't there. She began to look around the surrounding cages frantically. She calmed down when she found him, he was right across from her. "You alright?" She questioned quietly, but loud enough for him to hear.
Harley jumped when he heard a voice. He calmed when he saw Whisper. "Yeah, fine." He mewled and went back to esting his food. As he ate he layed down and tucked his paws under his chect.

Kriset removed his leg from his ear, making sure not to stare at Bently's missing leg. "Heh, pretty okay so far, I mean- things could be worse." The cattle dog tilted his head in concern at the collie's words. What did he mean by worse? Shaking off the thought, Kriset tuned in just in time to hear Bently introduce himself. There wasn't really a need for him to know Bently's name; he had heard it a multiple of times already.
"Oh, well! I'm Kriset. It's nice to meet you," Kriset replied. Considering whether to ask about the collie's missing leg, he decided not to, and instead perked his ear at the sound of the sharp whistle. "Umph. Wonder what's all the chaos 'bout?" Without expecting or waiting for a reply, Kriset shrugged it off and returned his attention back onto the dog in front of him. "So. How long have you been here?"

Akihiro strutted about his own cage, mindlessly flickering his tattered ears in the direction of the mad barking and snarling. Whiskers quivering, he took no notice of it and slinked down onto his belly with a rumbling purr. Silvery claws scratching at the metallic floor, Aki sprung up and with one swift swing of his paw- broke the lock of his cage through one of the bars. Snickering, he pushed the little door open with his front leg and hopped out, landing in silence. He stared around at the many sleeping cats, narrowing his eyes in annoyance. These cats only knew how to sleep and eat.
Stalking through the hallways, the cream tom poked his nose out through the door, watching the dogs suddenly hop up and bark at his entrance. Raising a brow, he slowly walked past the cages, brushing his tail across the iron fence until he came to a stop in-front of a Collie and Cattle Dog. Perking his scarred ears up, Akihiro gingerly lowered himself into a crouch and lunged up, clambering up the fence until he came to a wobbly stop on the top, awkwardly seating himself on the narrow peak.

A few days had passed now and many people had wandered around the shelter in search for their new companion, weather that be canine or feline. But today was Ryokos lucky day and later he would be getting adopted by a family, and boy was this pup excited. Although he loved being at the shelter he did want to get out and explore the world. Sitting by his door patiently he began barking as Karen headed towards his cage. "We best get you groomed Roko, you're going to your new family today!" she smiled and opened the door to the barking pups cage. Clipping a lead around his blue collar Karen began to lead the pup into the wash room where he would be washed, flead and groomed. Ryoko was placed in the large silver tub and another staff member-Amy. Joined them. Turning on the tap they began showering the canine, applying the flea shampoo, washing it off then a few others and rinsing him. Taking the pup out they dryed him then took him to the veteran room. There his ears, teeth, mouth, nose, joints, health and everything else was tested. Last but not least he was fed and watered.
Ryoko was now ready to be adopted, but he still had a while to wait. Being lead out of the room and into a single play room where he would greet the new family. Once entering the family like area Ryoko looked around, his tail rapidly wagging as he began jumping around barking. Karen began calming the pup down ready for his adoption what was now in 30 minutes.
Tasha woke hearing the sounds of cages and door being open, she looked around to see a pup-known as Ryoko, being lead out of his cage, a smile grew across her face. "Good on the pup, hope he finds a great family.." she muttered to herself as she turned to look at Tom. "Hey girl, ready for your walk?!"he questioned the canine in an excited tone. Barking the Kelpie began barking and leaping up at the cage, spinning in several cirles. Once the human opened the door she shot out and skidded up the hall, turning back around she ran towards the staff member and lowered to her haunches. Once the lead was clipped on they were off "C'mon girl! Tom shouted as he lead the canine out the building and into the open fields. Unclipping the lead he threw a tennis ball. Barking Tasha turned around and skidded to a start, bolting across the field chasing after the illuminous ball.

Whisper awoke when she heard the lock of her cage being clicked open. It was the usual girl who always took care of them, Shela. "Time to get you ready for adoption today." She said. Whisper backed into the corner of her cage and hissed. Shela frowned and scooped her up, taking her to a small area where a grooming table was. Shela grabbed a brush and pulled it gently through the calico's pelt. She then picked her up once more and took her into another room where a group of others were. There were scratching posts and things to climb on in the room but there was also a window so humans could peer in to choose their cat. She huffed and climbed atop one ofthe posts, tuckig her paws under her and curling her tail.
Harley stood grudgingly on the grooming table as a brush was pulled through his pelt. He never enjoyed being groomed and didn't enjoy it now. The lady scooped him up and took him to a room by himself where a group of people were. He began to look around the room for Whisper. Upon not seeing her, he lunged out of the ladies arms and bolted down the hall. Harley ran into the open door of the kennels and hopped atop a shelf, hissig at anyone who tried to pick him up.

The 2 month old puppy was very happy, she barked a lot. A few days have passed, and she was gonna be adopted. She smiled, her big teal eyes had a joyful look. She barked joyfully when a woman named Andy came to her cage. Andy said "Arent you excited Key? Today your being adopted!" Andy opened her cage. Clipping a leash around her pink collar she led her to the washing room. They both walked to the washing room, and put her in a large silver tub. Another staff member named Samantha joined them.
Turning on the tap the shower was completely soaking the puppy in water. They would have her washed, flead and groomed. They applied the flea shampoo, washing her around, soaking the puppy in suds. They then rinsed off the flea shampoo, and kept rinsing her until all the shampoo was gone. Then they turned off the tap, and took the puppy out and dried her. Then they took her to the veterans room. They tested her ears, teeth, mouth, nose, joints, health and everything else. She then ate some food and inhaled some water.
Key was ready to be adopted. She still had to wait a while. To keep the puppy entertained, she was in the play room. Her adoption was in 50 minutes, she barked as she played with the toys.

Ryoko had been in the meeting room for atleast 20 minutes now and any minute his new family would be arriving. Excitement and happiness filled the pup, he hadn't really been here as long as most dogs so he hadn't grew to attatched to the shelter-although he knew it would be hard to leave. Leaping onto the sofa next to Karen he placed his head on her lap as she petted him, speaking reassuring words. "You excited Roko?....I'm sure you'll like your new home!" She smiled. Karen had cared for Ryoko ever since he had arrived, and a strong bond was kept between the two making the split just as hard. A family entered the room, a red haired female and a brown haired male, along with another dog-what looked the same as him but more white patches. Leaping from the couch Ryoko began interacting with the new family and their pet, now known as Jack. The two got along just fine and the pup seemed to like the new family.
Signing a few papers and going through a few tests it was finally time for Ryoko to leave the shelter and begin his new life outside in the wilderness with his new family. The pup looked back at Karen with wide eyes as he began to whimper and nudging the staff wroker. "You'll be alright boy, I'm sure I'll see you again!" she smiled wiping a few tears from her eyes and hugging and kissing the pup several times before leaving. Turning one last time he allowd his cheerful bark to fill the shelter soon followed by a whimper. Flicking his hind legs he bolted out the shelter but was tugged back by the end of the leash. Getting into a car Ryoko was finally on his way to his forever home.
Brown paws thudded the ground as Tasha bolted after the bright coloured ball-her tail arched and wagging as she let out several barks, her tongue clumsily hanging from the side of her muzzle. Kneeling down she snagged the ball up in her jaws and headed back to Tom, dropping it into his hand as he knelt down. Stepping back she barked at the light haired male as he smiled "Ready girl?" he questioned and followed by her bark he threw the ball into the distance. Already on her way Tash watched as the ball dropped a small distance infront of her-grabbing the ball once again she headed back, chewing the ball a little as it remained in her mouth. They had been out for an hour or so now and although Tasha wasn't tired she had to go in and get ready for feeding time, and after they would probably go for another walk. Tom didn't need to put the Kelpie on a leash, she followed obediently behind.
Arriving back at the shelter Tasha let out a bark as she pushed through the doors and looking at a few staff members, her tail wagged and a muffled bark escaped her maw. "See you guys have been for a walk?" Lucy smiled as she watched the dog head down the hall "Yeah, and she's still not tired!" Tom chuckled and headed quickly after the Kelpie. Looking, he smiled as she was stood outside her cage barking, opening the door he watched as she began lapping up water, bending down he grabbed the tennisball and threw it carefully in. "Ok Tasha, I'll be back soon.." he muttered and set off. Lifting her head she barked as an "Okay" then bend down and continued to get a drink. Once her thirst was satisfied Tasha headed towards her fluffy brown bed, that had a white floofed cushion inside. Circling she lay down on her side and placed her head on the side-looking around at the few humans and dogs passing by.
Personality: Chop is a very loyal and obedient dog who is very protective of those he grows fond of and will not hesitate to attack if he feels the need to and if commanded to. A powerful canine he is and usually uses his strength more than his brain, although when he decideds to he's pretty intelligent. Although Chop looks 'dopey' he knows a lot of commands and is rather obedient. Chop doesn't seem like your average loving dog and he prefers to be outside playing with a ball, tug rope or another fellow canine-although because of his strength and clumsy traits he's often kept from the smaller dogs incase he injures them, even though he doesn't intend to. When he wants to Chop is actually a loving dog and will cuddle up to you. Once he trusts/warms up to you that is. A brave and strong willed canine, an excellent example of his breed.

Bio: Chop was brought up in a small town, but sadly it wasn't the greatest. It was well known for its crimp and gangs that hung around, somtimes causing trouble and sometimes not. Chop, out of many dogs here was born and sold to a person who took part in these 'gangs'. He was trained to be aggressive, but also taught many commands, being able to fight with others dogs and even ordered to attack people on cammand. Although the gang he was owned by weren't as bad as the rest they were still pretty well known. Chop spent many years with the gang until his owner Mark was shot and killed, the rest being arrested. With no where else to go Chop was took to the shelter. Many dogs like him wouldn't be given a 2nd chance but fortionately he was. Maybe they see something in this canine.
Other: Chop wears a thick, black, leather collar with his tags on.

Kriset's ears perked at the sound of claws scrapping against something metal. Swerving his ears into the direction of the sound, his eyes soon followed to see a feline - a light golden feline - perched on top of the narrow peak of the fence. He wasn't surprised to see a feline - most tried to mess around with the dogs and cause a little mischief around here. Unsure of how to respond to the cat, Kriset glanced back at Bently. If Bently simply brushed it off, so would Kriset.

Bio: (Not feeling creative lately so lame bio) Ranin was snuggled up with her mother and siblings when abruptly the trunk of the van cracked opened. It had not been securely locked, thus Ranin accidentally tumbled out from the bump on the road. However, a staff worker spotted the feline on the side of the road and took her into the shelter. After healing from the minor cuts and bruises, Ranin eventually grew up in the shelter. Unfortunately no one seemed to want her; however Ranin simply did not care and instead looked up at the staff members of the shelter.

((Yeah that's all basically, I'm sure Indiana should be returning soon, Ryoko was ofcourse adopted and I've added a new character Chop. Tasha is in her cage now (after being for a walk) and eating a bone, I believe others are in their cages or in the feeding room. Also if you guys didn't know we time skipped to two days))
Glancing around his cage narrow eyes, Chop let out a grunt as he watched many staff members pass by with either a canine or a feline-as the smaller creatures known as cats he let out a growl. Although he didn't intend on hurting them he often liked to taunt them. Looking to the left he noticed one of the familiar staff members. John, although he was rather young he seemed to be able to handle Chop. Just. With a deep bark the black and tan brute hurled himself to his paws with his tail curled and wagging, his eyes remained focused on the human. "Wait.." John ordered as he opened the door to the Rotties cage, and obediently he listened. Alowing the male to clip the leash onto his collar Chop let out another echoing bark. "C'mon Chop, we'll get you out for a bit and once we arrive you can eat!" he smiled and lead the dog out. Barking one last time Chop curled around the cage door and scooted out into the hall way, looking around at the canines that surrounded him-most of them in cages. Seeing the large doors a grin crept across the dogs face as he tugged a little on the leash, but with a ligh tug he would soon fall back.
Exiting the doors Chop looked around and the continuous fields around him-a joyfull look filling his face as he lunged forward slightly but swiftly turned and stopped beside John. Lowering to his haunches he allowed his tongue to fall over his bottom jaws-lifting a paw he pawed at John leg in order to be let off the leash. "Ok boy but you better be good! I don't want no shit off the boss..." he muttered kneeling down and petting the brute on the head. Unclipping the lead he jestured his hand forwards. Barking, Chop lunged off across the field ignoring most staff members and other dogs. His intentions were on finding a stick to fetch.
Tashas jaws parted in a yawn revealing he slightly stained teeth, and a whimper like sound escaping. Chomping her lips together her head suddenly jerked left at the echoing sounds of barking. Raising a brow she watched as a large, muscular canine trotted down the hall. The canine she knew as Chop. Watching as he exited the building she let out a sigh as she remained seated in her bed-glaring around hoping she would soon be let out. Seeing Mark pass she ran towards the cage door and leapt up, letting out many barks with her tail wagging and her ears erect. "Hey girl, I'll come let you out soon okay?" he smiled and tossed in a bone for the Kelpie. With a bark she backed away from the cage and licked her lips as she glanced down at the meat filled bone, without any signs of hesitation Tasha lowered to her stomach and dipped her head down, the bone betwwen her paws as she allowed her teeth to sink into the tasty meat.

Harley had his ears pinned on his head as a couple of staff members tried to grab him. He unsheathed his claws and lashed out at them. Before he could think, he lunged into a kennel from a gap near the top. He landed right near a dog chewing a bone. Harley pinned his ears and hissed at the canine, warnig it to stay away.

As Tasha continued to chomp into her bone her tail wagged, how she loved treats-especially bones. But her attention was soon drawn from her treat as she heard the meows and hisses of a cat-tilting her head she watched as a cat managed to sneak its way into her cage. Stepping back from the bone her head tilting as she glanced at the unfamiliar feline, and he appeared rather threatened by the canine. Running her pink tongue across her lips Tasha shook her head, the silver chain dangling from her neck as she cleared her throat. "Cool it cat!" she growled her lips quivering as she revealed her teeth-then allowing her lips to fall back down. Just showing the feline she wasn't afraid to attacl. "Have some bone, or lay down somewhere ont care..." she muttered. Her previous home on the farm meant she was obviously fond of cats and they didn't seem to bother her, stepping to the right she hopped into her large fluffed bed-the bone not to far off. Averting her gaze from the source of food and back at the feline.

Harley remained where he was. His tail was still fluffed out but he had stopped hissig and snarling. A human stood outside the cage, staring at him. The man seemed a bit confused. Wonder what's wrong with him. He spat out in his head. "What's with this bozo staring at me for?" He hissed, half to himself. He let out a sigh and let his neck fur lie flat again and his tail thinned like it usually was. He tucked his paws underneath him and stayed in the corner of the kennel, he flcked his tail before wrapping it around his side and glancing around.
I'll post for Whisper soon. Trying to think of what to post. x3))

The tortoiseshell cat lifted her head in curiosity to see another feline calmly exit his cage. Interest sparked inside of her as she watched him leave. Blinking, she averted her gaze to his broken lock, connecting the dots. A little adventurous at the moment, Ranin peeked closely at the metal lock, wrinkling her nose in disgust of its stench. Metal had always smelled - and tasted bad - to her, with its strange taste of...dryness. Tail-tip twitching, Ranin pawed lightly at the lock for a moment, before unsheathing her claws and hooking it through the small hole. She was a little afraid of breaking her claws, but the thought vanished as she immediately shrugged off the caution. Maybe she could grow it back.
Without hesitating, she gripped the lock firmly in her jaws and gave a forceful tug, hoping that the lock would snap from the strength of her. However, despite her attempt, the lock stubbornly stayed put, as if clinging onto the cage for dear life. A scowl formed over the feline's face as she ran her tongue over her teeth. With a plop of her haunches, she shivered slightly at the cold touch of the metal running up her spine. Even though she slightly warmed it up with her body, it still felt cold to her.
Attempting to give the lock one more try, Ranin smacked the lock with her paw, stifling a hiss of pain as it crackled through her paw. However, she brushed it off, brightening as she discovered her mistake.
Someone - a careless staff member - had accidentally left the lock undone, so it was not clipping the cage door to the cage itself. A small snort of amusement ran through her. She felt a little dumb at her mistake, but merely brushed it off and nudged open the cage door.
The warmth of the sunlight lolled around her body, causing her to shiver - in delight - at the touch of it. A small purr of content rose inside of her and she confidently strolled through the kennels. However, the feeling only lasted for a while as she hastily ducked behind one of the fences in attempt to hide from a staff worker. Though it made little difference, she was not caught, and thus she continued forward.
After a little while, Ranin perked up to catch a whiff of another feline. Male, she added mentally, blinking in surprise. Perhaps it was the one who had escaped earlier? She couldn't have been sure, but she immediately switched directions and headed over to the scent. Abruptly, a flash of fur shot past her, causing her to reel back and stumble slightly. A layer of annoyance swept through her as she arched her back, hissing at the figure which sprinted past.
"Watch it!" Ranin spat. She wasn't sure whether the figure heard her or not, but the feline could have cared less. She wouldn't have been surprised if it was a dog of some sort.
Another hiss from a different direction caught the tortoiseshell's attention. Interest set through her again as she glanced at the owner of the hiss, a little surprised to see another male. She gave a cautious sniff of him, and brightened when she realized it was the one earlier. So I was correct.
"Hi, there!" Ranin chirped. She felt a little bubbly now - especially with a species of her own. Usually, she leaned more onto the quiet side; however that was only for humans and such. She felt more comfortable with animals - more of felines. Blinking, Ranin's green pools dissolved into a concern look as she examined the kennel.
"Is there something wrong?" She inquired, oblivious to both the humans and the canine.

Harley fluffed his tail as he heard another voice but soon his fur lye flat. "Oh uh hi." He mumbled. Harley clawed his way to the gap in the kennel and perched himself on the shelf again, stairing at the feline. He could sense it was a female so he had to instinct to be dominant just yet. "Aye, peachy." He said sarcastically. "Well, since you're asking I may as well respond." He chuckeld to himself. "I was gonna be adopted but clawed my way away and ended up here because Whisper wasn't there. I'm sure you've seen her. Calico, missing an eye." He said, describing her by basic genetics.

Ranin blinked at the flustered male as his mumbled a greeting back. Huh. I guess some felines around here aren't so as friendly and excited. The female took a small step back as the male clambered up the kennel and rested onto the shelf, still fixing his eyes onto Ranin. It slightly annoyed her - having to lift her head up to stare at the male. She lightly frowned at the dominance in his voice, but merely brushed it off. Why would she care, anyway?
"What's so wrong with being adopted?" Renin curiously asked, before continuing, "And no, I don't think I've seen your sister. Even though she's sure to stand out with that eye, I think there's too many felines around here." With a sharp jerk of realization, Renin cowardly lowered herself to the ground, noting at the slight hurtful comment she made about the eye. She wasn't sure how the male - or brother of Whisper - would take the small comment. Hopefully, lightly, or even better - he wouldn't notice it. A little flustered, the tortoiseshell dropped her gaze onto a lonely small rock, and flicked it with her paw into her direction. As it clattered onto the ground, she began to mentally amuse herself with swiping the rock around on the hard ground.

Harley narrowed his eyes. "We aren't related." He said almost like a mumble. He bit back a sharp retort as she said simething about her eye. Harley shrugged it off, realizing she clearly didn't mean to say that. He huffed a leapt off the shelf, flicking the only ear he had. He was left with no ear on the left side but also no hearing on that same side. He and Whisper had been through alot together and they both have injuries to prove it aswell. "I see, she usually doesn't leave her cage. The other felines are just mean and make fun of her." He hissed under his breath. "So uh, may I ask, who are you?" He questioned sitting down, wrapping his tail over his paws a he awaited a responce. The humans seemed to have just left him be now so he didn't seem as aggressive.

Ranin flicked one of her ears as the male spoke. She lost interest in the rock beside her and simply stared at it, unsure of what the male would reply with. "Oh, sorry," she muttered, hearing that they were not related. She must have misunderstood and took Whisper as this random male as siblings. Well, it sounded as if they were. She slightly relaxed and lifted her head when he didn't seem annoyed by her comment. Maybe mentally, but he seemed to remain calm, only giving a huff and a flick of his ear. That was when Ranin actually noticed the one ear, which made her fidget and dart her gaze away. Seeing injurers on another feline - especially a missing limb or so - always made her cringe mentally. Deciding to brush it off, Ranin finally glanced at the male, carefully no to look at his one ear as he continued to speak. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that," she whispered, noting that Whisper was usually made fun of. Surely she wouldn't do the same?
At his last question, Ranin noticed he seemed a little relaxed now. I guess the humans irritate him. But they're bound to come back. "My name's Ranin," the tortoiseshell introduced herself, before cautiously resting her haunches down. "And you?"

The Kelpie turned her attention back on the feline who now seemed more relaxed-she suggested the humans irratated him. Allowing her tongue to run along her lips she glanced our her cage one more time, seeing the few staff members passed by-it mostly seemed busy at the shelter now as the amound of residents continued to build up. Parting her jaws in a jawn Tasha looked at the feline one last time then shrugged, allowing her head to fall onto the bed and her eyes slowly close. Oblivious to what was now going on as two felines were lurking around her cage she remained asleep, but not for two long. The other unfamiliar voice caused her to wake from her slumber and glance towards the tom on the shelf, and another outside her cage. "What's going on here?" she questioned in a lazy tone as she stepped out the warm bed and shook her fur. Returning back to her previous position on the floor, pulling the bone towards her Tasha placed it back between her paws. Nosily she listened to the two felines conversation as she began devouring the bone she received earlier from Mark.

The large male Rottie continued bounding across the field, his tail held high and his head low. Snout to the ground he began to sniff around. Sensing other dogs scents Chop would cock up his leg to mark territory, eventhough he didn't own this area he still had his dominant ways. Lifting his head a long, thick object came into view-something that made his eyes light up. Letting out a deep, echoing bark Chop lunged forward, his ears blowing back slightly and bobbing up and down, his tongue hanging clumsily from his muzzle. Once drawing nearer to the stick Chop pulled in his tongue and threw down his head, rapping his large mouth around the wooden object and picking it up. "Chop! Here boy!" John shouted and obediently Chop went to him-the large stick still in his maw. "Oh that's a big one you've got there eh? Its nearly bigger than you boy!" he laughed petting the dog on the top of the head then wondering off again. Chop seemed amused by the stick and never put it down, even when he ran around the stick remained tightly in his mouth.

Just simple socializing." He responded simply before turning his gaze back ove to the feline. Although he heard thec anines voice, it was on his left side where he couldn't hear anything. His right had gotten much better.

The female cat blinked at the name of the male, or Harley. "That's a nice name," Ranin complimented. Her paws shuffled around slightly, uneasy at the sudden warmth of the sunlight. It seemed to heat up the ground causing her paws to grow warm. Without hesitating, Ranin unsheathed her claws and scurried up the kennel side, heaving herself lightly on top of shelf. That done, she felt slightly better at the coolness of the cage, but she knew sooner or later it would heat up from her body warmth. A tinge of annoyance slashed through her as she attempted to glare at the sun. Instead, her gaze lowered as her vision blurred, and black dots danced in front of her. Even though she was thankful the sun kept them warm at winter time, she still hated how bright it was. Once her vision had cleared, Ranin focused her attention onto the canine who spoke underneath them. "Oh, hello there," she greeted, peeking at the canine. A little interested, she gave a quick sniff of the canine, before reeling back. Dogs' scents had never appealed to her, and Ranin wrinkled her nose in disgust. Couldn't dogs take baths themselves?
Giving a slight shake of her head in disbelief, the female glanced at Harley, who answered the dog's question from earlier. She was a little bored now, with nothing to do or nothing to talk. Ranin swept her gaze around, cautious of what the staff and humans were doing at this time. They didn't seem to notice the two felines - or so she thought - and were busy murmuring to themselves. At this point Ranin wondered if they were planning of how to take Harley and Whisper. A small idea popped into her mind as she glanced at the male. "So, from what I know you are not going to be adopted without being with Whisper?" Ranin questioned, before continuing, "Do you want to look for her, then?"

The 2 month old Japanese Akita puppy was in the playroom for 30 mins, but her forever home was coming. The family had a widow, with her 3 kids. There was only 1 daughter, leaving her with 2 brothers. The 2 boys looked alike, as if they were twins. They both had brown eyes and brown hair, and the girl had blonde hair and blue eyes. Their mother also had blonde hair and blue eyes. They also had another dog with them. It was a female, and their dog was a pure sable Siberian Husky with blue eyes. The woman was wearing a gray hoodie, and blue jeans. The sons were wearing blue shorts and blue shirts and the daughter was wearing a purple shirt and blue jeans. She was put in a car, going to her forever home. She thought "Bye, see you soon." as she was going away from the shelter, although she wasnt hugely attached to it.

Harley huffed and gave his chest fur a quick lick before responding. "Yep, basicly. We've been together since birth. We were both taken from our mothers at a young age and used as bait for dog fights..." He trailed off, remembering thecanine who took Whispers' eye. He shook it ff and looked bak at her. "But no. She's in a room with others. I saw her when I bolted." He mumbled. "I just don't trust humans. I won't leave this place till I know she's somewhere with a family safe." He stated matter of factly.

Ranin listened closely, feeling a bolt of sympathy streak through her. He and Whisper obviously been through a lot. She began to drift into her own thoughts, half listening to Harley's little story. Good thing I didn't approach him all sassy and snappy. A small feeling of satisfaction bounced inside of her, before she lightly frowned. I hope I did. When Harley suddenly stopped, Ranin allowed her full attention to rest on him. His eyes seemed distant, as if he were remembering something deep. Abruptly, as if slapped, he shook his head and looked back at the female, before continuing. At his mumbled words, Ranin slightly deflated. Though she had given him a choice, she would have liked going on a mini adventure - at least allow her muscles and bones to move around. However, she remained quiet, tuning in on what the male had to say. "Well, she's lucky to have someone to lean on," Ranin murmured. As she remained silent, her eyes darted around, a little awkward. Seeming, a cloud of awkward silence seem to hover of them, staring down at them menacing and preventing Ranin from striking another conversation. With a mental hiss at the cloud, she averted her gaze back to Harley. "Why can't you two be adopted together? Can't the humans see the bondage between you two?" Ranin inquired.

Sasha laid in her cage. Seeing some other animals her ears perked. She crunched some food in her food bowl. After she fed herself she inhaled some water. Hearing a puppy known as Key was rehomed she thought "Enjoy your new home." She couldnt wait to be rehomed.

Okay so far nothing's really happened of importance. There isn't any action (really) and everyone's just derping around. So, I think we skipped two days but OTL I totally messed up on my post. Anyway...your last post was when (Omb I don't remember anyone's character) Bently(?) replied to Kriset's question. It's really confusing with the time skip so I'll start after it. Re-cap: Ryoko (Taylor) was adopted and there's a new character - Chop (Taylors). Tasha (Taylor) is in her cage (after a walk) and is eating a bone. Harley was going to be adopted but he didn't want to and sprinted off. Somehow he found himself with Tasha and like..I guess he was all angry and all. Then, Ranin (my character - she's a feline) waltzed her curious butt over to them and started a conversation with Harley. (You can read it in pages 9 - 11.) Let's see... Idina returned from the hospital but Maydia hasn't posted for her yet. Mayah's character (Key) has been adopted and Mayah made a new character, Sasha. The others are kind of silent right now.
So. I guess you could hop your character around since Kriset sort of..poofed. Remember it's a two-day skip.

Ranin's ear twitched, slightly taken back by Harley's sudden harsh words. Love? What does he mean by that? The thought bounced inside her mind, causing her to drift off for a moment. A sharp breeze struck her, causing her to jolt back in reality just in time to hear Harley apologizing for his behavior. "Oh, it's fine," Ranin assured him. She would have said more, maybe even that she understood, but she was slightly afraid of the male snapping again. She didn't want to anger him - he seemed to have been through a lot already. Ears perking at his last comment, she glanced at him for a moment. "...Would you like to talk about it?" She asked, hinting that she was here to listen. She wasn't sure whether he would be sensitive about the topic or not.

The tri-legged border collie was laying in the back of his walk-in kennel facing the wall. Only recently having awoken from a short nap, Bentley raised his head and parted his jaws in a long yawn. His cropped ears flickered at the sound of his kennel door being opened as one of the staff members slipped in, immediately sending him into a semi-defensive, submissive posture. Avoiding eye contact, Bentley lowered his head, tail tucked firmly between his hind legs as the human worker got closer, probably here to take him out for his daily exercise- a special daily therapeutic workout the staff insisted on to help him adjust to his three legs and build strength. Though physical health wasn't necessarily the thing holding the collie back from being dubbed "adoptable." It was his defensive, frightened behavior around humans- and it was something that needed to be worked on. As the staff member bent down with the leash in hand, Bentley's muscles locked and his muzzle twitched, threatening to bare his canines at the human as a low defensive growl began to build in his throat. Such behavior was quickly scolded by the worker with words only.
Before the collie could make any sudden moves, the worker slipped a thin rope muzzle around his maw, immediately drawing a whimper of fear from him- although this time he didn't thrash about like a trapped coyote as he normally did out of fear, which was a sign of improvement. Flinching at every move the staff member made, Bentley eventually surrendered and willingly allowed the woman to slip the loose leash. Now that the interaction was over, he felt okay to move as he slowly adjusted to life with humans again. Hobbling along behind the female worker, Bentley limped down the aisle way, barking caged dogs on both sides of him as the two left the kennels and eventually arrived in a small fenced in area with a few small agility obstacles set up- a sight he had been trained to be accustomed to since he was a pup. This was his favorite part of the day. Though he was missing a leg, it didn't hold him back from mindless sprinting and jumping like any other dog, and as soon as he was unhooked from the leash, the handicapped canine was off like a shot. Partly wanting to scramble away from the presence of the human, and partly wanting to simply run again. While his walking gait was awkward and hobbled, when running, he moved just like the other dogs.

Ranin flicked her tail in agreement, understanding why Harley wouldn't want to speak of it. Sympathy flashed in the female's eyes at the sentence of Whisper. As the male stretched, he glanced back at her and asked, "If I may ask, how did you get here?" Ranin was unsure of he was trying to change the subject, but she merely shrugged it off. If he was, there wasn't a big-much of a deal anyway.
"It's a simple story," she started, giving a slight shrug of her shoulders. "I don't remember much since I was so little. But what I do know is that I fell off of the back of the car since the trunk wasn't closed securely." A quiet and short laugh crackled out of her mouth at the faint memory of it. She wasn't sure why she was laughing at it, but she simply brushed it off, hoping Harley wouldn't give her a strange look. Ranin knew not to ask the same question, and instead fell quiet as she stared down at the kennels. Movement out of the corner of her eye distracted her; she glanced over to it and immediately stiffened. "Um, Harley?" Ranin called in attempt to receive his attention. "What are they doing?" She gestured over to a male human, who was carrying a crate in one hand and a strange object in the other. A ball but with an opening hung from the stick. As the man moved closer, she spotted some holes in it, and recognized it as a net. The heck?
A small squeak escaped her mouth as the human headed into their direction, and began to lift up the net. As Ranin studied the man's movement, she realized that he was looking directly at Harley. Harley? What does he want with him? Stiffened in her spot, all she managed to do was shot a worried glance at the male feline beside her. I wonder if he realizes what's going on?

((Yeah I've had snow also, although it only lasted a few hours so wast really deep. The next day it also rained so yeah, the snow is now gone and the first we've had since last year! :( and now we're stuck with dumb rain! :/ ))
The huge stick remained limp in the Rottweilers jaws as he charged across the filed, chasing after the staff worker known as John. With his tail arched and wagging it showed he was in a excited state of mind, and his old playful self. Turning the large male looked at the human as he drew nearer, bowing down Chop darted off when John arrived near him. Romping around like a huge pup. Skidding to a halt Chop glanced to his right, seeing the popular agility course many staff members took the canines on for exercise. Turning to John Chop dropped the stick and began barking "You wanna go boy?...C'mon!" he shouted as he ran towards the gate. Jumping forward, Chop chased after John the stick still in his jaws. Stopping at the gates he looked around of a moment, looking for somewhere to place his stick-deciding to put it by the fence. Just as he was about to walk away a curious Labrador seemed to have wondered over and began biting at the stick, growling Chop let out a bark and charged towards the dog-but instead of attacking he stood defensively infront of the stick as a warning. "Chop stop it!" John ordered at the growling dog. Watching as the golden dog wondered off back towards the other worker he smiled and turned, trotting back towards John-his tail arched and wagging.
Waiting patiently as the large gates were open excitement filled the male, he was often kept from the obstacle course because he was rather clusmy and often trampled on few of the other dogs-but today he was brough in. Standing in the middle of the course the Rottie glanced around, seeing dogs of all different shapes and sizes darting around the course with ease-and seeming to enjoy it. Stepping back he let out an echoing bark as he paws at the ground, turning his broad head he tilted it. "Go on then boy.." John spoke with a soft tone causing the canines eyes to light up. With one last bark Chop was off across the field. His tail held high and a look of relaxation mixed with concentration sprawled across his face. Running over ramps and through tunnels, leaping over jumps with few barks-and all was done with ease. The obstacle was one of Chops favorite things, which also kept the brute out of trouble.
Looking at the other feline the Kelpie dipped her head "Hello.." she mumbled to the younger feline who now seemed to be continuing her conversation with the tom. Letting out a huff Tasha slowly lifted to her paws leaving the bone placed on the kennel floor, slowly trotting towards her bowl of water. Craning her neck she allowed her tongue to slip out her parted maw-the tip touching the cool water. Feeling a cooling feel taking over her the Kelpies tail wagged as she continued to lap up the cool water. Lifting her head from the metal bowl she faced the two cats, water seeming to still drip from her chin. "Surprised these two haven't been moved yet?" she mumbled to herself slightly confused on why no ones had noticed. Brushing it off Tasha walked out of a small "Doggs Door" that was at the back of her kennel-leading her to an outside run where people could also view her.
The cold quickly hit the dog as she exited the small gap, but it didn't seem to bother her besides she was use to the cold. With her tail raised and her ears erect Tasha trotted to the front of the outside cage and glanced out, looking at the many canines outside having fun. A bark erupted from her maw as she pawed at the cage eafre to get out, eventhough she only arrived back 5 minutes ago. Shrugging, Tasha turned around and grinned at the many toys that lined the floor of her run. But she just couldn't choose which one to play with the tug rope, tennis ball, football, squeaky toy or the rubber ring. Licking her lips she soon decided, lunging forward she landed on the football with her paws-causing it to flick into the air. Letting out several bark Tasha began chasing the ball around her run, causing it to bounce everywhere and causing her to skide around. The Kelpies tail violently whipped back and forth as she played around.

Bentley slowed his sprinting strides to a clumsy halt once he reached near the center of the obstacle course field, rushed with a feeling of being overwhelmed by the chaos of the various other dogs running about and clambering across the course. Since coming here- well since he lost his leg, really,- he had not been in an environment with so many other canines in one field. Knowing the harassment was probably quick to come from the other athletic dogs around, the collie's tail quickly dropped between his legs and he took a hobbled hop backwards, already glancing around for some mode of escape if necessary- as he was not willing to get into a fight, which sometimes did happen anyway by the bullying of the other dogs. Ears flat, Bentley stood still, gazing around in a moment of confusion and worry. Part of him almost wanted to retreat back to the human, but he wasn't about to trust them with his safety that quickly. Eyes wide in anxiety, the handicapped border collie made a slow limping b-line for the non crowded space of the field's back fence, head low as he attempted to not make eye contact with any canine and tune out the sly remarks directed at him.

Harley was a tad amused by her story. Since she had huckled aswell, he went along with her. As soon as she spoke again, he stiffened and unsheathed his claws, fluffing out his tail. The human man set the crate down a ways off and kept the net in his hands as he approached Harley. Harley narrowed his eyes and was about to bolt when the net came down around him. He began to claw at the net, trying to free himself but was unsuccessful. The human spunt he net to where Harley couldn't get out and soon had him in the crate. Harley was spitting furiously and clawing at the cage door. He was taken from the room. Before they had left, though, he let out a furious yowl for help towards the she-cat before the door was shut and he was taken back to that room. "Sorry about that guys." The human had said. "He's a bit shy." He chuckled. The family chuckled with him and he was let out of the kennel to mingle with the family. Imediately he was grabbed by a small child, it's grabby hands clutching his tail. Instinctively he turned and slashed at the human. They small child jumped back and let out a screech before it started crying. The mother of the child gave a furious glare at the feline before pickign up her child. The father shook his head at the guy who caught him and followed the two out. He was shoved back in the crate and taken back out of the room. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Whisper in the same crate, being taken out the door. Harley le out a yowl of dispair as he watched with eyes full of fear as she was taken away.
She's not gone for good. xD After a while i'll have her being brought back.))

He watched a pretty white female (aka Sasha.. didn't go back enough to read your entry form) whom he'd yet to meet. He barked a friendly 'Hello', perking his ears as he lay on a soft rug.

[[Lol us Floridians are such sissies to the cold. The temperature drops to 45 degrees and everyone is bundling up with scarves, boots, and winter coats. XD
The border collie successfully limped to the back fence of the large obstacle course field. Panting from the effort of making his way over there, Bentley slowly lowered himself onto his haunches, his side brushing against the chain link fence. The dogs who were romping about the course didn't seem to notice the lone collie who had excluded himself. He longed to run around and clamber over the obstacles like he had done in the good old days- when he was 'normal', but the tense fear of further bullying by the other dogs kept him in place in his little fortress of solitude at the back of the field. One mutt, a Belgian malinois, however, couldn't help but notice the poor canine. This brute did well to make harassing the tri-legged collie one of his daily activities. Bentley's ears quickly slicked themselves down against his head as he noticed the large tan dog making his way over, head low with a smirk plastered on that ominous maw. The border collie tucked his tail between his legs and rose to his three paws, taking a few quick hobbling strides parallel with the fence in an attempt at slinking away from the malinois- only to have his path cut off by the brute. "Now, now, where are you goin', Tripod?" The malinois spat, smirking down at the cowering collie while his two lackies, an English bulldog and a boxer, made their ways to his side, snickering with their leader. "Wha- um- nowhere." Bentley stammered, his large brown eyes sweeping back and forth in nervousness. He knew what was coming sooner or later. The malinois tended to 'put him in his place' quite often, and another 'fight' was the last thing Bentley wanted. The four canines being at the back of the field, the humans' view of them was poor- a fact that was now working with the Belgian malinois' advantage. If he did decide to physically bully the collie, the humans would be delayed in getting to them- if they even saw- which would give the brute more time to inflict damage.
[D'aw. Poor wittle Bentley.

((Well in a little town called Newcastle XD we're very familiar with the cold weather, although in summer it does get pretty hot. But for now the weather still remains crappy. Oh, Chop will save Bemtly :D feel like a super hero...))
The Rotties huge paws slammed against the grass as he swiftly moved from one obstacle to another, he seemed more excited than usual-probably because he was in his favorite place. Chop let out a quiet yelp as he stumbled down the ran after a Doberman charged past the end, a growl rumbling through his throat "Bloody mutt!" he snarled. Brushing it off Chop continued on his way. Leaping over a small jump then finishing off with a large. But, his attention was soon turned from the obstacles and towards the usual 'Bully' of the shelter alsong with his two lackies. Chomp knew this canine pretty well from getting anto mant rows with him, and the mutt was known as Grant. Turning his head to look at the humans the brute realised they couldn't really see the situation that was going on and were totally oblivious. Shaking his head he turned back towards the small group of canines. Before butting in Chop watched for a few seconds, listening quietly to the tan males words. A shiver ran down the Rottweiler spine and was soon followed by a low rumbling growl that quickly erupted from his maw as he trotted towards grant and his two other friends. With a few quick strides Chop soon arrived at the canines and growled. "Well if it isnGranny Grant!" he cackled taking a place near the three-legged Collie who seemed rather worried. A string of sympathy ran through him for the smaller dog and his gaze turned back towards Grant. "We got a problem here?" hour growled looking at one canine then another as his ears lifted slightly and his tail remained arched.
Tasha was totally oblivious to the food room being opened as she remained in the pen of her cage-also unaware that the felines were moved. Letting out many yaps she continued chasing after the black patched ball that bounced around the small yard. Although people called from outside the fence the Kelpie only ran up giving a quick sniff then a lick to their hand before skidding back through the yard and nudging the ball across the gound. Her tail wagging in excitement as she rolled onto her side and flicked the ball away-hurling back onto her paws towards the ball. But, clumsily she toppled over and flew into the bars of her cage, although it didn't bother her. "Tasha?" a familiar voice sounded causing the Kelpie to stop. Then quickly bolting into her inside cage.
Skidding to a halt she glanced out the door of her cage, ignoring her pants as she starred wide eyes up at Mark. Letting out a bark until he spoke. "You hungry girl?..." he smiled patting his legs. Spinning in a circle she dipped her head as if to say "Yes!" and was let out her cage. "Go on then Tasha!" he smiled. Obediently the Kelpie did as her 'owner' said. Swiftly manoeuvring around the door to her cage she hurried down the hall and through the door.
Entering the food room Tasha glanced around, her brown eyes locking onto few of the canines she recognised. Her tail wagged as she stood at the doorway for a while-many dogs running past and halting infront of a bowl. The familiar scent of the food wafted into the canines snout causing her mouth to water, licking her lips Tasha headed towards the usual bowl she ate out of. Craning her neck the brown Kelpie began wolfing down her food-her tail remaining hooked over and wagging slightly. Although, she ignored the canines running around her she would lift her head the odd time to see who was around.

Bentley's large eyes scanned left and right for any mode of escape as the towering Malinois, known as Grant took a step forward- a growl rumbling through his toothy smirk. As the tri-legged collie took another limping half step backwards, a rough voice made his triangular ears flick forward momentarily. He stared blankly at the large Rottweiler that had approached- at first feeling a cold rush of anxiety flood over him at the sight of the large dog whom maybe would join in on the harassment, but once the brute seemed to be on Bentley's side, he let out a shaking sigh of relief. Grant raised his head, scrunching his muzzle in annoyance at the brute he was well familiar with. "We will have a problem if you don't mind your own business, dog-meat." Grant growled in the brute's face, baring his teeth in a threatening manner. With the bully distracted slightly, Bentley took a couple limping strides to the side, letting the large black and brown dog shield him from the Malinois. While every muscle in the collie's body screamed at him to just run, he knew that would only spark interest in Grant to join in on the chase, so he forced himself to stay put- standing a couple feet behind the Rottweiler with his head low and tail down in a submissive stance.

Chop remained in a defensive stance infront of the Collie, he hated seeing one being bullied and Grant took it to the next level. Witch fury running through the male his tail began to twitch in annoyance along with his leather like snout. But the brute couldn't help but grin from ear to ear when Grant began to get frustrated, and along with what he said made Chop give a sarcastic laugh. Allowing his tongue to slide across his lips the muscular Rottie took a small step forward toward grant and his lackies-who also seemed to take a step forward and growl. "Back off Pinky and Perky!" he snapped at the two canines on either side of grant. Eventhough Chop knew this was going to lead into a fight it didn't seem to bother him, Grant and his two conrads always caused trouble. Tensing his muscles Chop let his attention turn to the Colli behind him who still seemed quite wary and a litte uncomfortable, still he felt sympathy for the canine. Allwoing his attention to turn back onto Grant he realised the brute snarling as he had grown rather angered, his grin remained for a few more seconds before it transformed into a snarl. With his lips lifted and quivering revealing his teeth Chop allowed growled to rumbles erupt from his throat, annoyance had struck through Chop and he was ready incase of a coming attack.
It didn't take long for the Kelpie to wolf down her meal, and boy was it delicious. Stepping away from the rounded bowl she glanced around the room with her usual wide eyes, her tail wagging as she looked at the other canines romping around. Although, Tasha hardly knew anyone here apart from the Labrador she was with the other day, and obviously she knows the two bullies- who doesn't. Tasha let out a huff and turned around, in search for something she could play with. Until her eyes locked onto a football. Excitement ran through the Kelpie as she let out an echoing bark and ran towards the cupboard in the corner of the room and pulling out the ball with her paw. With her tail now thrashing back and forth and her eyes fully erect, a joyful look sprawled across her face. She began playing around with the football, this time being more careful and pushing quickly around on the ground.

Ears flat, Bentley's worried gaze snapped from one canine to the other as things escalated. Grant continued snarling, glaring at the Rottweiler as he stood boldly in front of the collie. "Well, well, aren't you just the little vigilante. You wanna stand up for that sorry mutt, go ahead. I'll show you what happens when you try to be a hero." The tan male growled, shooting a threatening glare at the cowering collie before sweeping his attention back to the large brute before him. Taking a few circling strides, the Malinois finally launched his attack, aiming for the Rottie's side. His temper had always got the best of him. Bentley staggered aside in alarm, scrambling clumsily to retreat, only to be cut off by Grant's two lackies. "Where do you think you're goin', tripod?" The bulldog growled through a snicker, causing Bentley to stumble to a halt in front of the two bulky canines. They didn't intimidate him as much as Grant did, but they still seemed threatening enough to break the collie into submission.

The canines tail continued to thrash back and forth with annoyance, his eyes narrowed as he took one more step forward towards the group of three-his lips violently quivering with every threatening snarl. His head jerked back in a sarcastic laugh at the tan canines comment, running his tongue across his teeth. "Well sorry mutt! I didn't realise there was a right or wrong way of doing this, but I guess you haven't got that into your thick skull!" he growled snapping at Grants cheeck as he spoke about Chomp acting as the hero. "I'm not trying to be a hero. So run off with your tail between your legs!" he growled craning his neck and tensing his muscles ready to attack. The huge Rottie watched as the Malinois began circling the two-sending the Collie threatening glares. Looking back at the scarred canine Chop let out a sigh and swiveled around just in time to see Grant flying towards him. Being knocked off his paws Chop growled and jumped up. "Still in training, pup?" Grant teased with a smirk. Letting out another echoing growl Chop stepped forward "Yeah, something you we to dumb to succeed in!" and with that he lunged forward. The two dogs lifted onto his quarters and clashed-slashing paws at one another and gripping onto one another. Using brute force Chop managed to cause Grant to lose his footing and harshly hit the ground. Barking Chop dropped his head down and latching onto the tan dogs flesh. Growls echoed through the field as Grant scratched Chops face in order to get him off, but he remained his grip. Being clawed across the face he took a step back allowing Grant up. Hearing voices he turned to see Grants lackies causing the Collie trouble-growling he shuffled back as Grant attacked, biting the sides of his neck but also ramming into the boxer only leaving the Bulldog. With many more furious growls the two canines lifted onto hind quarters and violently clawed and bit one another.

Sasha somehow saw a man walk in. He was a jerk. He smirked, and opened Sasha's cage. He threw her on the ground and kicked her. She yelped for help. He kept kicking the husky. She finally was unconscious. Samantha forced the man out of the door. No one could tell if Sasha was dead or unconscious. Andy shouted "SOMEONE CALL THE ANIMAL HOSPITAL!". An ambulance arrived and then 2 men came out of the ambulance. They came in and grabbed Sasha. They put Sasha on a stretcher, and put the stretcher in the ambulance. The ambulance drove to the animal hospital.
