So i exported one of my maps and then feralheart crashed D: I tryed getting back on, but when i click the FeralHeart icon, it crashes. I tried looking in my particles, looking at my terriens folder, redownloading it, it wont work tho! HELP D:
-
- Go into your C: >>> Feralheart >> media > particles and delete any ending in _0, _1, and so on. Sometimes particles double when they are exported, causing the map to crash. Check the my_objects folder since they can also end up in there.
- If you don't find any particles in those folders, search them in your PC.
- Make sure your map is 513 x 513, grayscale.
- If your map has a lot of objects, that could cause the map to crash.
-
Go into C: >>> feralheart and type in at the search bar: Particles.
If any pop up ending in a _0, _1, and so on, delete them.
Particles can sometimes stray away from their original particles folder.
Also, go into C: > Feralheart and open the orge.cfg with notepad.
Change the top line with this:
Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]
Or this:
Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]
Oreo you ninjaed me >:I

Well, I'm glad it worked by re-installing Feral Heart, but here's a suggestion: In the future, back up any important files before re-installing Feral Heart. That way, you won't loose the meshes, presets, etc. you have.
Otherwise, good luck on any future map-making and all.
