Title: "FHSetup.exe is malicious, and Chrome has blocked it."
Post by: Aliwolf on February 18, 2014, 02:12:42 am
I remembered my FeralHeart information from a long time ago and decided to come back... but apparently the game's unsafe?
The webpage is coming off as "unsafe" as well.

This makes me nervous. :/

I'm a Chrome user and never had this problem, your computer sounds just like my brothers. No matter what site or download he is told that they're unsafe. Turns out he always has viruses. Hope you use Avast and CCleaner, also, try Firefox. Tell me if it works.

The Feralheart setup is completely safe, and so are the forums. I cannot promise that the ads and player-made mods are safe, though.

If you are still scared about viruses, I'd recommend trying MalwareBytes:

Click Me (http://MalwareBytes.org)

The free trial is very good.

I'd also recommend putting the FH website on the antiviruses 'safe list.'

I downloaded Firefox, and it didn't block the setup.  My antivirus saw FH as "safe" and "reliable." Scanned my whole computer and not a single virus was found. I would never expect the game to be unsafe since the community is so large (and supportive!).
Thank you both for your fast replies. I'm glad to be on an active game forum for a change.
I suppose a moderator could lock this now, as my question has been answered. Thanks again!
