[move]Someone help me out
I uninstalled FH by mistake but when I went to reinstall it says "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program"
I don't know what to do and yes I have check on here but it was so confusing for me to understand. Please help me as I have been off FH for almost 2 months and I really want to come back on.
Thanks for reading (User: poppy0700)

Uninstall your game again and make sure you delete EVERY folder after you've uninstalled.
Then re-install.

It is uninstalled but now I can't install it again.

How so? Is your virus protection refusing it?
Make sure you're running the installation as "Administrator"
-
My protection keeps running scans but even if I turn the protection off it still does come up.
-
Just tried running the installation as administrator and it didn't work it still came up. Do you think it could be something to do with the game or the laptop?
-
Ah yeah, the computer and your protection might not recognize the program, so it sees it as a threat on auto.
Do you get an option on "Install anyway" or does it just delete the file?
-
There is an option to delete or run anyway but when I click run anyway that's when it comes up
-
Are you trying to install it using chrome? There's been problems before with downloading FH saying that it's a malicious or corrupted file. Try installing it on a new browser perhaps?
-
No I'm using Internet Explorer (Not Google chrome, Firefox or anything like that).
-
(Don't want to ruin anybody's opinion .-.) It might have something to do with the computer itself, or just the fact that it's not a desktop but a laptop. It may also depend on what brand of computer it is (Dell, HP, etc.).
-
Still having problems it's a shame but I hope it gets sorted. Miss not seeing you on FH but try not to worry :)
-
What do you mean by the computer itself and what do you think I should do? Also thanks Lulu but I won't give up till I find a way of getting FH back (If I can get it back).
-
Maybe it's your firewall. Try lowering your PC's firewall.
Also, like said before me, it might be your PC recognizing it as a virus or some other malicious program. I'd add Feral-heral.com to your anti-viruses safe list and then try redownloading the setup from another browser like Firefox.
Also, I highly doubt whether the PC is a desktop or laptop would cause the problem. As long as the PC can handle FH. ^^ I play FH on a Dell Windows 7 (Laptop) and a HP Windows 8. (Laptop)

Thanks AlphaEclipse I'll try doing that and see if that works
