Title: Lag/Freezing Issues

Okay for a week I played FeralHeart and it worked nicely with my computer - I could have the high settings on and it'll barely lag.
But since yesterday I noticed that my game has been lagging non stop and freezing. I closed the game and shut off my computer to give it a rest overnight but it's still happening all throughout today.
I'm about to throw my computer off a hill because every time I try to type it freezes, stops, or messes up what I typed.
I'm not sure what caused this and I'm not sure when it started. But I think it lags more because I changed the moon, texture, star texture, the music and the sounds. But that shouldn't slow down the game, should it?
If anyone knows how to solve this please tell me. And it's just the game, not my whole computer.

I have some solutions for your problem. Re-install Feral-Heart. Try not to have much programs in use. Thank you, you two. I used both links and they both helped greatly. Some lag is still here but not to the point where I can barely do anything. And the freezing stopped.

I could tell you a useful tip that made friend told me once when I was lagging extremely. When your lagging, look down on the ground or up into the sky, it will decrease the lag for a while ^.^ You could also try going to places that don't have much people there

1. I lowered the settings. Didn't work. 2. I got rid of unneeded programs. Didn't work. 3. I re-installed FeralHeart the correct way. Didn't work. 4. I don't have anything else but FeralHeart open. Didn't work. 5. I used Direct. Didn't work. 6 I tried full screen. Didn't work. 7. I tried restarting my computer. Didn't work. 8. My internet is the same speed it's always been. 9. I don't have any add-ons. Didn't work. 10. I went in maps with less people/no people. Didn't work. 11. I changed the target field for FeralHeart like Red said. Didn't work. 12. I looked up at the ground or looked down at the sky. Didn't work.

Try to restart your game, but don't install any music or anything like that you said. Then if it works or not PM me! ^.^ Good luck my friend! ;)

Have you tried updating your graphics card? Or closing the programs you're not using while you're on? (Skype, MSN, any background programs that are on while you're on could cause a lotta lag)

Okay, sorry for all the trouble. But thank you all for helping me.
It turns out I accidentally deleted a registry key and apparently without that my games slowed down. I thought it was only FeralHeart that was lagging because that's pretty much the only game I go on but then I noticed that my internet browser was acting slow, too.
I looked up some things to try to solve lagging and freezing problems and a PC Cleaner that I installed said that I deleted a registry key.
I restored my computer to when it had that and now my game is working normally and my computer is running smoothly.

I'm glad that you can finally play Feral-Heart without the game lagging.
