you wander through a dark damp area, a deep cave, sniffing your way through. Suddenly you see a flash of white eyes. "who's there?" the voice bounces off the walls and echoes in your ears. "Im....."
The Scarred Wanderers clan is a new roleplaying clan and is searching for members.
We wander freely, not being bound by destiny or fate. Our paths are ours to choose. We honour others, but fear no one, we fight if we must and protect what is ours. We accept all species and respect one another in the clan. We do not have our own map yet but it will be in progress soon hopefully. So for now we wander the plains, staying in dens when we can and moving on when we please.
Ranks:
Alphas
the alphas word is law. you must respect their decisions. As the leaders of the pack, the alphas are there to keep the pack running smoothly. The sort out any problems and decide the ranks of other members that join. Their goal is to maintain the packs motion and effectiveness.
Betas:
The betas are the second in command, while the alphas aren't around, the betas take over. When the alphas are around then the betas are usually the ones that choose when to hunt. The betas will also need to train new members and young pup/cubs in the art of hunting, scouting and fighting.
Deltas:
These are under the betas and do as the betas ask. They are NOT the betas servants. In the rare case that both the alphas and betas are not around then the deltas take over the pack until they return. Deltas will also assist the Betas in training pups/cubs and new members in their requested ranks.
Fighters:
The fighters protect the pack and pups. They warn off any creature that steps on their territory. They are often highly strung and vicious. They command themselves, they must know when to strike and who to strike and how to strike them for an effective attack.
Hunters:
The hunters are the ones who catch the prey for the clan. Of course as wanderers, more movement means more food is needed, this is a very important job, two hunt leaders will be chosen and it will be their responsibility to choose when and what to hunt.
Scouts:
Scouts must check each area is safe before the clan moves onto it. If the clan finds suitable territory and decides to stay then the scouts will keep watch of the area surrounding and alarm the fighters if a creature wanders near to their border.
Healers:
The healing wolves will of course heal any wolves hurt through hunting or fighting. also healers must be able to help pregnant wolves give birth and help heal illnesses that clan members may get.
Pup/Cub sitters:
this is a highly important job, though it seems like a low rank, the sitters will take care of the next generation of the clan. This is important to keeping the clan alive. There will be one sitter at first, but if the clan grows then two or three will be assigned.
Elders:
these are the older generation.
Pups/Cubs:
the next generation of the clan
Omegas:
the lowest rank, they have no job, they eat last and live a dogs life. They are sometimes asked to fill in for others and always have the possibility of being promoted to a higher rank/job. They just have to prove themselves first.

Nero looked over his pack and narrowed his eyes. the sun was setting slowly, leaving a red crease across the sky. he perked his ears and moved towards the lake, sitting beside it with his front paws dipped in the cool water. it rippled around them gently. he smiled to himself, when the moon came up, they would move on.

The young beta had set herself on the ground waiting for her Alpha's orders. Her silver pelt glowing in the sun's rays as her ears laid back slightly. Her hind had kicks out from under her body and her tail laid on top of them. Her cranium laid on her fores that stretched out in front of her and her teal eyes looked around.-

Flicking his purple hair out his eyes Kuta watched the setting sun. He was distanced from the others
Omega.
Rolling onto his back the red wolf stared at the shifting colours
Green eyes flickered as he watched two birds dance in the sky
He spoke not a word, Omegas rarely did and it was against his nature to

The young beta, Dawn, was laying in the shade, watching Nero with a smile on her face. She rolled over onto her back, still watching the male Alpha with friendly eyes. Then, she gave a loud, friendly bark at Nero, hoping he would come over here and lay with her. She really started to have feelings for him which she hoped her wouldn't see just yet.

Her ears perked forward, reacting to the bark as her eyes look over at the other Beta. After noticing what the bark was for, she laid her ears back down. She let her small, slender body shift to the side and fall on the ground as her position was her laying on her side. Her sides would swell up then cave in slightly with every breathe. Her breathing pattern was nice and smooth for a young health wolf.-

his ears perked at the bark and he felt a smile spread across his chops. he looked over at the beta and showed his white teeth in a grin. without a second thought he moved over and dropped down beside her. his head laid on his paws gently as he swished his tail from side to side in a slow, gentle wag. the sky was slowly fading into darkness and he felt that, soon, they should move on to wander the plains further. he kept his eyes fixed on the female beta laying beside him and let out a cool content whimper.

She flicked her tail over Nero's shoulder as she turned onto her laying position. She looked at Nero with admiration but said nothing. All she did was stare straight into his eyes and smile. That was all she did right then and then stopped as she wondered if it was making him fill uncomfortable. She turned her head away from the male and laid her brown head on her dark brown paws. She sighed soon after and didn't look back at Nero, still wondering what she had wondered earlier.

Shadowwhisper shifted his paws in the grass. Being a hunter, he longed to sink his teeth into some moos or elk right now. He sat down and watched the sunset.

Kuta yawned, night was approaching and they would soon be off.
He rolled and rose to his feet, padding over to the water, his tongue creating
endless ripples as he quenched his thirst.
He looked over to the Alpha and Beta, huffing as he watched them.
Love was a fickle thing, he didn't enjoy seeing others bask in its glow, he
saw how they broke when it ended

Her eyes didn't move as she knew what was going on with the other Beta and the Alpha. A large breath swiped through her lungs and exited back out her nose as her body laid on her side, waiting.-

Shadowwhisper walked over to the stream to drink.

Nero looked at dawn and wondered why she seemed so tense. he licked her cheek gently "whats wrong?" he asked with his usual one sided smile and a small wink. he flicked his tail and put his head on his paws and watched as the moon rose high in the night sky.

Kuta huffed. "True love" he mocked
Laughing he dipped his muzzle in the stream again

He continued to watch the skies, as the moon rose further and the stars shone brighter he sat up and threw his head back in an intense howl, signalling the others to join him. They would leave this area soon and continue across the plains to a new area to spend the next few days.

hearing the Alphas howl, Shadowwhisper stood, he was feeling restless as the sun finnally slid down the sky.

Dawn then shook her head, "Nothing, Nothing." She soon heard him howl, so she joined in with him and the pack.

Shadowwhisper also began to howl.

Sorry for late reply))
Her ears caught what the red wolf had said but completely ignored him. She brought herself up on her limbs as her front legs stay on the ground and her rump in the air as she stretches. As she stretched, her jowls snapped open in a large yawn, letting her teeth become bare for a couple minutes but disappear as her mouth clamped shut. She stands back up and shakes her slender but well built body to get rid of any dirt that clung to her silver fur.-

shadowwhisper turned to the alpha " can we go now? "

Kuta looked up to the group, licking the excess water from his lips.
He said not a word, waiting for an answer, ears perked forward as he watched the alpha

"yes, its time we moved on" Nero slunk backwards then pushed himself forward into a leaping run, full speed with great haste. his ears flew back to keep track of whether the others where following closely or not. He dodged the trees and headed for the mountains in the distance, maybe they could find refuge there for a while. as he ran the wind whipped his face and he shut his eyes relying on his other senses to guide him but as he ran he caught scent of a feline, he continued running hoping that whatever feline it was, wouldn't notice them.

Kuta rolled his eyes and shot forward, one of the others, he didn't know which, snapped at him to get back.
That was one problem with omega, you had to run at the back. He was a tall wolf, he needed to stretch out.
He veered away, galloping on, stretching out his whole body, easily reaching three metres if not more.
Now he was enjoying himself.

She pushed herself forward and let her legs do the work. She was a small wolf as her age was the problem for that but it gave her the speed so she caught up with ease. Her ears laid back as the wind rushed against her cranium. Her breathing pattern was normal, nice and smooth, as her lungs were strong. Her ears twitched slightly hearing the last wolf veer off in the other direction but let him go, knowing that he liked to enjoy himself at times.-

shadowwhisper began sprinting behind the beta as they raced to the mountains.

Nero noticed the omega making his way to the lead further to the side, he shot a harsh bark in his direction warning him to stay back, he shot his glance forward again, his fur flying back in the wind, suddenly he felt something hit his nose, a raindrop. he loved the rain and so smiled to himself as it fell briskly on the wind, sending a cooling sensation over his back. his legs kept a steady pace, setting a pace for the others to match.

Dawn bounded up beside the other beta and ran with bursts of speed.

She keeps her steady pace, not caring about the other Beta that bounds past her.-

Nero and edged ever nearer to the mountains, his eyes were diverted,however, as he noticed large paw prints in the sand. he came to a sudden stop. he moved to them and sniffed the dirt restlessly. "felines" he whispered and moved along the path, following the prints.

shadowwhisper noticed Nero wander off, bounding ahead he caught up with the alpha and whispered " I think nero found something, we need to stop. "

Kuta saw the others stop and tried to put on the brakes,
tripping over his own long legs and tumbling to the ground, rolling a few times before he stopped

Nero stood, noticing the omega fall, he rolled his eyes. he sniffed the air gently and moved forward slowly, his stance cautious. "omega" he called, referring to the large, fallen wolf. "scout ahead, we will remain here until you come back with word."

Kuta pricked his ears forward and nodded.
Pulling himself up he began to pad ahead silently.
Leaping up the hills he made his way amongst the trees.
He sniffed the ground, the scent seemed old.
He turned
"All cle--"
A large lean body landed on his back, knocking him to the ground.
He barked and yelped as he tried to fend off the slicing claws.
"RUUUN!!"

Shadowwhisper heard Kutas howl " he's being attacked! " he howled and bounded after Kuta.

Nero perked his ears at the commotion, he lunged forward, bounding to kuta and leapt onto the back of the great feline. He bit its ear and managed to make it turn away from kuta, and round again away from the pack. The feline leapt up and down and round in circles trying to fling him off, he lost grip and hit a large rock, falling to the ground, Gasping for breath. "Dawn get the pack out of here!" he barked weakly as he stood once more and tried to distract the creature.

The omega stood shakily, he heard the alpha's orders. And ignored them.
With a mighty bound he sank his fangs into the feline's neck, trying to protect the injured alpha,
ignoring his own wounds
Kuta tried to bring it to the ground but he was lightweight and this cat was pure power

Shadowwhisper clawed at the lions back, holding on like a professional rodio rider.

he watched, baffled by the other wolves and the power of the great feline. He leapt up and snapped at its jugular and manage to tear into it, but he lost grip and the cat hit him to the side with great force and sent him rolling down the hill. He quickly stood again, bleeding from the wounds on his side, and ran at the beast, full force.

Shadowwhisper started circling the cat, useing a hunting tip that goes back through generations of his family, he circled tighter and tighter circles, until he leaped at the cats neck. Shadowwhisper was knocked asideby the force of the cats paws, but managed to get a blow just below the cheek.

Dawn nodded and motioned for mostly the whole pack to come with her. She then started to run, tail high, with bursts of speed.

Shadowwhisper fled on the tails of his pack, the feline pounding after them. He waited for the Alphas comand.

Nero leapt away from the feline and darted after the others. His tail high, his ears forward. He kept looking back, keeping tabs on the beast following them. "THE MOUNTAINS" he called ahead, if they could get there then they would be able to hide in the caves hidden within the rocks. the great feline continued to follow, luckily it wasn't going to catch up anytime soon.

at the moment we only rp on the forums unless people want to take it into the game ? Nero is the ALPHA of this pack lol ... so tell me whether we should take it into the game or just leave it on here... i dont mind you tell me ! :D

( XD sorry, I'm getting confused. ummm...... lets say we made it to the mountains and Nero has fainted for a long time becuase he was not strong enough to stand againsat the bear. )
Shadowwhisper began to notice that the dirt was turning to rock, and that steep slopes were appearing. The pack made it to a cliff where the bear couldn't get to them, its roars echoed off the walls. Shadowwhisper gasped as ge saw the alpha fall, " NERO!!! "

Nero felt a sudden dizziness come over him, he had been lagging behind for a while and letting his pack move ahead of him, He had been hiding the deep gash on his back leg since they had left the large creature that had attacked them earlier, he had been bleeding from the deep cut ever since. he stopped for a moment as they reached the top of the cliff, suddenly his footing slid and he ended up clinging to the edge of the cliff with his front legs desperately, He looked down, below him was a sturdy looking ledge, he knew he wouldnt stay concious through the fall but he would survive. He let go of the cliff edge and fell, hitting the ledge on his side hard and he felt conciousness leave him.

Shadowwhisper peered over the edge of the cliff, he leaped down to the ledge where nero lay.

Dawn raced toward Nero, not caring in whoever would be following her. All she cared about right now was Nero, and that was that. She skidded to a stop right at the ledge and she looked at Nero's lifeless-looking body. She whimpered and lowered her ears, Hopefully he will be okay... She thought.
