Title: Feral Heart Emote Discussion
Post by: Blaze on March 27, 2011, 12:40:19 am: Here are some new emotes I would like to have in the game:
Animation Emotes:
Growling
Snapping
Eyes Blinking
Winking (left
Winking (right
licking
eating
peeing (idea by Slycan)
yawning (I forgot who XD)

Sound Emotes:
Growling
Wolf Howl (note that howls are only for canines!
Coyote Howl
Dog Howl
Roaring (both for each instinct!

There isn't a lot of good emotes people can use, especially the "OMG" face that people call their, "rape face" XD

Not sure how a "pee" animation would be useful in the game though. Either I'm completely missing the point here or eet was just added to the list for funsies?

Not because I rp that much, but how many actually pee in their roleplays? If you mean marking territory it would probably look different. I just think that if it was put in the game, it would be used in a bad or wrong way. It's not something that would be good for the game exactly.

Nothing against the other ideas though.

Alotta people on feralheart are just disturbing and make alts and stalk you and use buttswing on you..... wouldnt want everyone peeing on you and puns spreading around the game. like LET ER RIP or something.

Well if you want licking you can select the "tongue" emotion and move you head back and forth. Eating? What would you eat? And I too don't think it's such a good idea about peeing. Then lots of players might disturb you and make fun of you, that be really annoying.

Post by: Redlinelies on April 08, 2011, 10:16:23 pm: Licking is more useful than you can think firestar, IT had one when the head made an up and down movement with the head, and it was very good for grooming, drinking water etc. Even something like giving someone else a lick on the cheek :3

It's also one of those things I'd deffently would want to see at some point come back to FH.

Post by: Taurus_ShadowViper on July 19, 2011, 12:35:28 pm: Probably to mark territory as well said above me here, even though in wolfquest it's there for single player though. so bringing a "peeing" emote in Fh I don't see a good idea about that, ppl will go crazy and say crazy stuff about it and doing it to others, and yes I can see that. But your other suggestions are a great way to start out as well ^^

I'd like to see though like... well I watch alot of animal planet and national geo over the years, and I'd like a small barking emote as well as the snort/bark/howl that big cats do. It's more common in lions when they call their young to shut up or declare territory.
XD It's super funny with the big bad boys of the pride do it at a water buffalo. Buffalo do it right back x)

Yes, the last post was from February 8th, of 2012. Please try not to revive old threads, like Ramine said last. Also, Kovu took the source code with him when he left so we can't update the game.
