Hi there! I'm trying to reinstall FeralHeart, but my browser is blocking the download due to "malicious content." Why would this happen? Any suggestions on what I should do?
-
Feral Heart is safe to download so long as you are downloading the game from this site you're fine. Many anti virus software are sensitive to Feral Heart although it isn't a virus nor does it contain any. Just temporarily shut off your anti virus software on your pc before downloading and turn it back on afterwards.

Alright, I managed to convince my computer to download it, but if I try to run the setup I get an error informing me that the file is corrupted and that I need a new copy of the program. Help?
-
Hmm.. What Operating System do you have? The FH setup didn't exactly like Windows XP when I had it. All I did was reinstall it and that fixed the problem. Basically, try reinstalling it a couple of times.
Sorry if this was not the issue x.x

Can this help a bit?
Issues with downloading the game, logging in or posting.
You can't download the game?
The downloads on the official download page should always be up for grabs no matter when you try to get it. And I'm sure there could probably be quite a few reasons why someone aren't able to download.
The issue could be browser related. Such as preferences in it preventing you from downloading the game. In this case you should look in it's settings and see if there's anything odd looking. Maybe even try another web-browser, that solves the issue for some.
Are you checking where you actually place the installers after you download them?
Best thing is if you save the installers onto your computer, and sometimes you might forget where you saved them to. So try downloading it again and make sure you know where you saved it.
The network you're currently on doesn't allow downloading, this could be normal if you use a school network or if you're at work. If so, you should try downloading it elsewhere.
The download link might be temporarily broken or maybe there's a change for a new patcher. If this problems remains for a longer time and you know others aren't able to download either, you should contact an administrator.

I'm running Windows 7, and downloading it from home. I've tried FireFox and Google Chrome, neither worked. I'm saving the SetUp to my Downloads folder. There's no problem with the link, it's just when I try and actually run the setup application on my computer.

Anyway you can take a screenshot of the exact message you're getting when you try to download? Also are you sure you turned off all antivirus software? If it keeps getting that file is corrupted messages it's making me believe you might still have some antivirus or other protective program running and alerting you unnecessarily.

Yeah. I can download the file just fine since my browser allows me to dismiss the Malicious Content warning, but once I try and run the setup file I get this error;

I advise downloadin' the torrent. I did some snoopin' around and found this quote provided by sir Red in a thread similar to this one:Your internet connection was probably not strong enough and you had package loss throughout the download, torrents check all the packages and make sure nothing is missing before telling you the download is complete, compared to a regular download that does nothing of such. Downloading things with the regular download if your internet connection is not that stable could cause issues like these ones.
Thus, downloadin' the torrent might fix the situation or at least aid a bit further into figurin' this out.

I can't open Torrents; don't have any programs that can do that, as far as I am aware.
Also, I don't feel it's my internet connection; my connection is very fast and very stable.

UPDATE: I managed to download an uncorrupted SetUp file on another computer and transfer it to my own via USB Flashdrive. I've got it installed and running again; thank you all for your help!
