Tempestatem Silva
(Storm Forest)
Tempestatem Silva. A beautiful forest with many many animals that vary from large, to small. Deer herds scattered throughout the entire forest, wolves have perfect dens near places they can hunt, bears find caves to live in. This forest is just perfect, no humans to bother any of the wildlife that lives there. Will you be one of these animals of Tempestatem Silva? I hope so! Because now is your chance to wonder into this near perfect place.
This first place, is where most of the peace is. There is hardly any fighting going on in this place. This river is where all the animals will drink and get food. The deer herds, wolf packs, the bears, and all of the other animals from the forest come here. If you see any animals here, they are most likely at the other creek.
This is the meadow where the herds usually come to graze. The herds stay here till the sun starts going down, then they go back to their territory. Rabbits live in these parts also, they eat the clovers and the flowers that grow there, like the deer.
And finally, this is the creek where the rest of the animals come to drink, if they aren't over at the first one. This creek hardly has any fish because of the fast moving current, but if you want to live nearby here, its still good. Its not as peaceful as the first creek, but its better than nothing!

Character Name- Scotch
Species- Rabbit
Picture/Description- As you can see in the picture above, Scotch is a white and black rabbit. He has blue eyes, and a black tail tip. Though he is in a cage in the picture, he was never owned by a human, but a human did however give him a tiny shark tooth necklace which he wears for an extra.
Background/History- Scotch does look like a pet rabbit doesn't he? Well he's not and he was never raised by humans. Scotch was born a wild rabbit, no one knows were he got his colors from, they just came from nowhere as it seems to most. Scotch is a rabbit that loves to roam through the forest, though he is quite the scaredy rabbit at the same time. He relies on others for protection when he travels around, because he doesn't want to get killed. Most of the time, the animals that he relies on agree to keep him safe, and end up letting him travel with them till he is okay by himself again, if he ever is okay by himself. When Scotch was a tiny wee rabbit however, a human child came in the forest with a tiny rabbit sized necklace. It had a sharks tooth on it and Scotch wanted it right when he saw it, so he kindly hopped up to the kid and 'asked' for the necklace. The child agreed and gave it to him. Scotch thinks the necklace as if it were a traveling give. And he will travel with it till the end of his days

Name || Boe
Gender || Male
Species || Deer
Age || Three
Boe is a very humble being, he allows almost anyone to accompany him. He is often so sympathetic that people try to manipulate him in some way. He is gullible, but he also has a form of anxiety around big crowds. It is weird that out of all things, he hates big crowds, it goes way against his herd mentality. But, he travels alone and he prefers the small company along the way. He virtually has no enemies, and carries a good model image. he has only even been in one rutting fight, and it was simply because the other buck had anger issues. Otherwise, he is quite loveable.
Boe was born and raised in the grazing meadows, and he likes to stick there during most day and night. He has also managed to venture far enough to find the second creek in the land, with less animals to bother him. His fawnhood was nothing short of any normal fawnhood, other than his father passing away due to hunting. His mother nurtured him quite well, and she passed on because of illness and arthritis. He likes to think they both watch over him every day, he is religious that way.

Character Name:
Riana
Species:
Wolf
Picture/Description:
As you can see from the picture Riana is a beautiful pure black wolf who has the odd brown patch on her silked, fluffed fur, under the mass of fur is pure muscle and bone-a fine example of a wolf. For a female wolf this she-wolf has quite the muscular figure more of what a male wolf would have considering she carried more traits from her father. Her eyes are a mix between brown and amber which give an evil look to this wolf, although she isn't evil just harsh at times.
Background/History:
From being a pup Riana was born into a small pack that had around 8 Wolves in, obviously her father as alpha like most pups. During spring his mother gave birth to four healthy pups Ranger, Hunter, Archer and Riana-yes as you can tell her three other siblings were all brothers. For the first year of their lives the four newborns were shown the ways of the wolf all the way from rules of a pack right through to hunting and everything else-preparing the pups for adulthood. When reaching 1 1/2 Riana decided to fly the nest, take an adventure into different lands-but unlike most her mother and father both agreed allowing their 4 children to do so.
Soon enough Riana set off, her big adventure had fianlly begun. This beautiful she-wolf had spend many weeks on food traveling through forests, towns, rivers and mountain ranges looking for the perfect home. Soon coming to a beautiful, peaceful forest where she knew would soon be claimed as home. It didn't take Ri long to fit in and find her way around, everything seemed easy and life was quickly looking up for the youngster. Ever since arriving Riana has been here and is yet to leave.

Character Name:
Uzal
Species:
Red fox
Description:
Uzal has a very strong mind, body, and heart, being the silent but strong type. He often remains quiet, but he does speak to those that he trusts. He prefers to spend his time in the company of others instead of noiseless solitude. By taking the time to observe others, Uzal is very understanding of feelings and how others work. He can read emotions easily and sometimes feel them, although he doesn't understand everything he sees. He has a kind heart and doesn't mind helping people. But sometimes, he hardens himself and shuts out the world. He is a master at concealing his emotions and slipping emotionless masks over his face, much to the frustration of some. The more time you spend with him, the less you seem to know about him. He does open up to those he really trusts, although he doesn't share too much.
He is an excellent fighter, being able to wisely use his teeth and claws. He has the ability to quickly figure out new things with or without help. He has the tendency to act violently at times, and he can kill others without qualms. He thinks quickly under pressure. Uzal has a hard time admitting his limits. He doesn't like to confess to feeling "weak," even when he is obviously exhausted. This shows a bit of hid stubborn side. He occasionally judges people a little too quickly, and he can be a little too wary at times. He can be relentlessly stubborn, proud, and discreetly defiant. He can be a little defensive of himself at times. He doesn't always like admitting to his mistakes. He is also easily provoked and has a temper at times.
Background/History:
Uzal never knew his parents very well. His mother was caught in a trap when he was two years old, and his father was left to raise him in a strange world. As hard as he tried, he didn't do a very good job, often making the wrong choices and causing Uzal to suffer from them. At one point, his father attempted to murder another fox for food, but failed to do so. Uzal soon slipped into a state of silence, only replying when spoken to. His father later passed away when Uzal was nearly four.

A cold blow of the icy wind crawled down the buck's back. He raised his crown to the distance before him, the bright purple flowers that invaded the meadow sprouted beneath his hooves. He cleared his vocal cords, and tossed his maw to the wind. Letting out a high pitched bellow. He topped it off with a sneeze, and lifted his carriers onwards. He stepped out from beneath the shadowed protection of the trees, and lowered his head to the warm sun-kissed foliage. He nipped off the blades of grass, making sure to keep ears and eyes wide open. His anxiety never let him get caught off guard, it was more of an advantage than dis-advantage.
He flicked his abnormally poofy tail, and allowed his back right hoof to reach up and relieve the itch on his underbelly, lowering his head to graze, but still making a point to look up every once in a while. The warm grass didn't take long to dry out his tongue. He was thirsty, and the closest pond was the one filled with the most life, and not the kind he really liked either. He shook off the thought, and he forced himself towards the lively creek.

Riana
A black figure lay curled up in a ball beside a fallen tree, her tail wrapped gently around her as a calming breeze blew past her. The familiar morning sounds of birds singing caused the she-wolfs eyes to sloiwly open-revealing her beautiful amber eyes. It took a few seconds for her eyes to adjust to the day light that managed the creep in through small gaps in the canopy above her-giving her head a light shake she glanced around. A beautiful forest lay before the canine a fresh flowing river, trees as tall as buildings, fresh air and plants growing all around her-everything seemed perfect. As Rianas jaws parted widely in a yawn it revealed her awfully large teeth that seemed to collide with the thin rays of sun, a almost silent whimper sound escaped her maw as her head slightly jerked back. Chomping her lips together several times Riana shuffled onto her sturdy legs.
Giving her body a light shake Riana was now ready to set off, her tail swaying loosely behind her as she hurried through the forest-large paws thudding against the uneven ground her head held high and all senses alert. All remained calm and quiet in the forest as the large wolf hurried through, weaving in and out of the many trees that surrounded her. It didn't take long for Riana to arrive at the relaxing river where she travelled to every morning before she woke, most seemed to come here although not many bothered at early hours in the morning.
As she arrived at the river bank it was clear for now she was the only one here, apart from the few animals that had adapted to living in water-right now the she-wolf wasn't bothered about eating she just needed a drink. Carefully trotting down the steep slope of the river bank she soon came to the waters edge. For a few minutes Riana just stood there. Gazing into the clear waters watching as frogs, fish and even insects swam by-her tail wagging in anticipation of catching one of these creatures but for now she would wait. Turning her attention onto her thirst the black wolf craned her furred neck down towards the surface of the water, her pink tongue then slowly dropping past her lips, the tip just touching the surface. The coolness of the water sent a chilling feeling down the wolfs spine as she began to take many more laps of water.

Scotch
Scotch perked his ears at the sound of birds singing their morning songs above him. That's usually how he liked to wake up in the morning. The rabbit got to his feet and hopped out of his log den, then standing on his hine legs, listening/looking for danger. Seeing or hearing nothing, Scotch carried on, hopping toward the meadow where he usually ate clovers, grass, and almost everything edible for a rabbit there. He was also hoping to find a new friend, one to stick around with if possible, but finding the perfect one would be hard for him, and it always is hard to tell because he always had to make sure his soon to be 'friend' didn't clamp his jaws around his neck. But, Scotch let that slide out of his head, he just carried on.
-
No picture...On my phone ti Thursday. x.x))
Killion rose his head up with a start. He got to his paws and stretched, parting his jaws in a yawn. He poked his head out of his den for the night before and put his nose up high, taking in the morning air and observing what came with it. Strong scemtsof deer and rabbit came through his nose which wasn't a shock because he was near the meadow. Killion clkmbed out of the den and began to go towards the creek in a slow trot. He did catch a glimpse of ablack and white rabbit but decided not to make it lunch. Instead he decided to be nice...Which was quite a shock sknce a rabbit is normally prey. As he neared the rabbit and passed him he dipped his head as a greeting then continued on as he would normally would.

Scotch
Scotch perked his ears, stopping in his tracks as he heard paw-steps come up to him. Looked to his side to see a wolf, but it didn't look like it was going to attack him, in fact, it nodded his head toward him! Scotch looked surprised, but decided not to be rude so he smiled at the wolf, saying a "Hello." and turning away, to continue on the trail toward the meadow. He still wondered what made the wolf so kind not to attack him, perhaps it was a good wolf like some of the others? Or perhaps it was just because it was in a good mood today? Whatever the reason was, Scotch was filled with joy that the wolf decided to lay off of taking an easy meal.

Riana
Riana had been at the waters edge for quite some time now and all still remained silent-although this didn't bother the she-wolf infact surprisingly she enjoyed the peace and quiet. Taking one last glance at the fish swimming beneath her paws she smiled, hunger didn't seem to concern the wolf for now, so she decided to give her prey a few moments longer to live. Turning her attention away from the river Riana trotted back up the narrow river bank. Her claws digging into the soil that went from being soggy to almost hard mud which gave her better grip. Soon enough she was back on track and weaving through treys once again.
Broad paws continued to thud against the ground as Riana had set off once again, as usual her stance proud-her chest puffed out, her tail held neatly with her head held high-Riana was proud of herself but in all her species and she done a great deal of showing it. Picking up her pace Riana leapt over a fallen log that came as an obsticle in her path but nothing she couldn't over come. Hitting the ground swiftly she continued forward. The scent of different animals lingered through the air.

Scotch
Scotch continued on toward the meadow which was only about five more minutes away. And after about five minutes, the rabbit was there. He spotted many deer already in the field grazing. "Perfect timing, I get here before all the other rabbits!" Scotch grinned, feeling quite proud of himself, he usually was one of the last ones to arrive, but today was different and it felt different too. He felt as if he was missing something... But that aside, he was still the first rabbit here and he was going to make the best of it. So Scotch started to eat some clovers, not going to talk to some of the deer that were already grazing out on the field. He decided he would wait.

A deep yawn came from the same creature, who was snugged within his sheltered log. Uzal reluctantly rose to his paws, giving a long and luxurious stretch to his body. As he did, his paws moved along the earth ground, barely peeking out from inside the log. A small ray of sunlight touched them, but he shifted them away. Bringing his paws towards him, he slowly emerged from his log. He didn't care how long it took him to peek his head out; laziness and sleepiness still hung damp around him. His ears twitched at the familiar morning sounds as they became more audible: the distant chirping of birds; splashes of the creatures lingering in the water; the crackling of broken twigs. Every sound he had grown accustomed to. It didn't bother him at all, unless it was the high-pitched sound of a bird screeching. Whenever it rang, it pierced his ears, like a gunshot sounding on the other side of the field, or metal rubbing slowly against another. At the thought of those sounds, it made him shiver.
Uzal swept his tail along the ground for a moment, before scurrying on top of his log, which he called home. He balanced himself on the uneven texture of his home, perching carefully as he peered at the nature around him. His log was located in a small clearing, however, close to the sides rather than smack in the middle. If it were, he would have never made himself home. The log would have been too out in the open - vulnerable for a hungry bear or wolf lurking around in the trees. Instead, it was snuggled against the thick covering among the trees, and the grass slightly hid it. Thus, it was better than nothing.
His ears swiveled as he began to collect the sounds around him. He was looking for a decent meal to eat - maybe a small mouse or a strayed rabbit. Either one sounded good to him. With the decision made in mind, he slipped down from his log and trotted into the direction of the meadow. Usually, the best rabbits hung around there. Even though the grass hid them somewhat, it was easy to locate them through scents and movement. However, the presence of the herd made it difficult to navigate through the meadow. Either way, the fox was determined to receive his morning meal, despite the herd and the distractions.
As he continued, the shifting of grass nearby caught his attention. Freezing, he lowered his body into a crouching position, fixing his gaze onto the grass. A small nose stuck out, before large ears poked from behind. At the sight, Uzal's eyes gleamed with hunger, and he waited, remaining still. Once the rabbit's body was fully revealed, it was then when the creature pounced, silencing the rabbit's shriek with an abrupt stop.
Triumph, Uzal snatched the lifeless body into his jaws, his tongue pressing against the warm blood which oozed slowly from the wound it had received. He moved forward, making sure to keep watch for any sign of predators, or for any danger. His guard abated somewhat as he reached the second creek. Releasing his kill, it slumped onto the ground, staying by his paws as he bent down to refresh his mouth with water. Afterwards, he soon began to devour his catch, often shooting glances around, with his body alert and ears perked.

Scotch
As time past, more rabbits started to arrive, and that meant that Scotch's friends would be coming any minute. But for now, as he waited till they arrived, he decided to go make another friend. He looked at the deer. Perhaps one of them would like to be his friend, after all, the deer were always nice to him for some strange reason. Maybe because they thought he was small and helpless? Or just because deer always had a kind nature. But that aside, he wanted to befriend another deer. Perking his ears, he hopped forward, only to stumble upon a buck known as Bo(e). Scotch's nose twitched as always, and he looked up at the large buck, standing silent for a moment, before saying a sweet sounding. "Hello there!"

I'm sorry but Hidden is not accepted. I looked around to see where a Panthers habitat might be but it never said in a forest. It said rainforest but not a forest where this RP takes place. You should also have more a description of the character so we can picture it more. To me the description is vague. And for the background/history, you should at least try to think of something, I don't dare what it might be. If you edit this to try to get in the RP that is fine, I bet we'd love to have you join someday

Character Name
Zarya
Species?
Mountain Lion
Description
Zarya likes to think that she is an independent and self-reliant feline. She doesn't like to ask or accept help from others and will try her darndest to get something done herself. She's very assertive when she does interfere with other animals. Zar is usually silent, hardly ever speaking to anyone. She's still very young, and at times, she'll let her inner cub peek out and have a little fun chasing butterflies or pouncing at the fish in the nearby stream. Zarya enjoys perching on a tree limb and watching the world below her or sunbathing on a rock near the meadow.
Background/History
At six months old, while on a visit to a carcass with her mother, Zarya encountered her first black bear, which was rare since it was out of its hibernating den in January. The bear tried to attack, but Zar's mother fought to protect her cub. She managed to run the bear off, but she had gained a life-threatening wound. They made it back to the den, and when night came, Zarya and her mother fell asleep. But when morning came, only Zarya woke, her mother in an eternal sleep. Having to leave the den, she relied on the few hunting trips her mother had taken her on, and she barely survived the rest of that winter. However, now, nearly a year and a half after her mother's death, Zarya is an adult and strong-willed mountain lion with the objective of any other creature in the forest...survive.

(( Pssh. There's many rabbits in the world, so get over it XD
And here's a quote from a website which explains about a mountain lion's habitat:
They prefer areas with dense undergrowth and cover, and will leave an area if they perceive a threat. Found in deserts, humid coast forests, arid hillsides, scrub and oak woodlands, lions can live from sea level to snow-covered mountain peaks.

Riana
As the day slowly moved on Rianas hunger level slowly raised to the point where it began to grumble and groan, a pain soon followed this burst of hunger. Stopping for a moment in the open forests the she-wolf glanced around, her snout raised up into the air taking in any scents of potential prey near by-of course there was. Strong scents drifted back from the direction the meadow was in an abvious place for prey to visit because of the food and water source near by. Running her tongue across her lips Riana set off, her tail swaying gently back and forth as she once again picked up the pace.
A few minutes of traveling and Riana could already see the meadow in the distance-large flowers poking from the ground with herbivores and ombivores eating peacefully. The meadow was always a good place to look for an easy meal most of the animals weren't alert and more focussed on grazing-which gave the predators a great advantage. As the black canid grew nearer to the grasslands prey began to come into view Rabbits, Deers, Birds, Mice and maybe a Fox or a Coyote would make a good meal if they wondered to close. With her hunger increasing Riana needed food in order to survive and with all these opportunities around where could she go wrong. Sharply turning missing a tree by inches Riana leant back slightly on her hind quarters, digging them into the ground whilst her front end lifted from the ground-allowing her rear end to life she was not standing on top of a rock observing each and every animal.
Luckily the rock was hidden in the shadows so the only thing visable would be her shape and obviously her birght, shining eyes. Letting out an almost silent whimper Riana lowered herself to her haunches as she glanced around-examining every animal in her sight. At this time in day it was mostly Rabbits and Deer that ventured into the meadows so her variety of food wasn't open until the day moved on. But something caught her attention, something seemed hidden in the grass-although it wasn't doing a very good job at hiding as the grass swayed back and forth causing a grin to creep across her face. Craning her neck slightly she watched and out hoppen a quite large, plump Rabbit that seemed to have a gash on its like-probably from a previous predator encounter. Now she had her target.
Leaping swiftly from the rock Riana crouched down low in the long grass-now completely hidden from the Rabbits sight and with the wind blowing in the opposite direction that was a bonus. Eyes narrowed she watched the small, furred creature with interest-the pain of hunger still in her stomach. Stupidly the creature turned its back and now was her chance. Lunging forward towards the small creature that only had time to turn its head before large paws slammed into its back causing it to sprawl across the floor gasping for air. Paws on the creature pushing all the air out its last sightings were a black figure. Looking down at the suffering creature Riana quickly ended its life with a quick bite to the throat-only a few animals had been startled by the quick scene.
Now, with a Rabbit hanging limp from her jaws Riana rose to all fours-her large figure now noticible over the grass. Looking around she growled as a few animals glanced at her, but it didn't bother her to much. Setting off once more Riana headed towards a rock that was more in direct sunlight-just what she loved. Quite proud of her kill she continued trotting through the grass, her head held high as she hurried towards the rick to dig into her kill.

((Me: D:! WABBIT! Scotch: WHAT IS WITH YOU PEOPLE AND RABBITS STILL! XD
How you guys are like prefering to hunt rabbits makes me laugh, I'm not even joking x3. And thanks Oreo for some more proof, I feel a lot better. I also need to wait for Bo to reply before I can post again))
-
[[Well, I guess its because to a wolf, fox, coyote etc rabbits are an easy meal. It's rare for a lone animal to really hunt something big as that's more of a pack/group thing. But I guess if they were desperate for food they will probably try and hunt something bigger]]

Character Name: Chippy
Species?: Chipmunk
Description: Chippy is a very lively little character. Being only two months old, he loves to be out and about, exploring the vast world one little step at a time. Being cheeky, he has known to be a pest to some of the other animals, since he has been seen hitching rides on deer and tugging and playing with rabbit ears. He has also bravely rolled around in the soft fur of a wolf whilst it was sleeping. He also hoards a vast amount of food in his cheek pouches, making his cheeks look extremely fat and full, since he never trust's his nest, which is only a few patches of rabbit fur on a forked branch.
Background/History: Chippy was one of three siblings. His life was rather dull in the nest; his parents gave the three siblings food and they would get into large rows and fights on whoever got to keep it. Chippy was the hoarder of the food and he was the one that grabbed the food and scoffed it into his cheek pouch, his two brothers knocking him about for him to spit it out. When they where three weeks, the three brothers left the nest in a very informal fashion; Chippy kicked both of his brothers down from the hole in the trunk for them to fall flat on their backs on the soft, leaf-coated ground. They both squeaked and shook their tiny little fists and him whilst he giggled. That was the last Chippy ever saw of his brothers.
Chippy then started to build his own nest. He could not find any abandoned woodpecker holes, like his parents had, so he decided to make do by pulling tuffs of fur out of a rabbit tail whilst it was sleeping and placing it in a little nook at the top of a tree.

Kilo was flying through the air, occasionally flapping his wings. He looked below him, searching for prey. He turned and flew lower, until he saw a large brown rabbit. The rabbit was nibbling on grass. Kilo rose about 40 ft into the air, his eyes locked the rabbit. Kilo was circling. Suddenly his tilted his body forward and folded his wing. He extended his talons. He grabbed the rabbit and flew to his nest. The rabbit shrieked and struggled, but Kilo killed it quick. He landed and began to dig in.

Chippy
Chippy's long tail flew out as he pounced along the foliage, his little nose firmly focused on the ground looking for insects or acorns to store. He cheek pouches where full and puffy with acorns he had collected from his previous scavenge. After a couple of moments of pushing back in a stray acorn that was beginning to slip out, a small stick insect stood in-front of him, it's long thin body looking extremely inviting for a protein top-up. Chippy spat out all of the acorns on the ground and lunged at the insect, starting to eat it from the head down. Just as the Chipmunk dropped one half of the uneaten body to cleans his paws of blood, Chippy saw a rabbit in front of him nibbling on some grass. "Hi there wabbit!" Squeaked the tiny ball of fur. The rabbit looked up, but before it could utter a word, a large horned owl swooped down and swept it up in it's large talons. Chippy's eyes widened and his mouth dropped open. He quickly grabbed one of his acorns off the ground and scattered to a nearby hollowed-out tree trunk. Chippy breathed heavily, standing on his two back feet and listening for the beat of the owls wings, but all had fallen quiet except for the trickle of a nearby creek.
Chippy stood deep in the hollowed out tree trunk, his breathing slowly going back to normal. The young Chipmunk slowly closed his mouth and edged towards the entrance of the bark covered cylinder, now on all four paws. "Hello?" Chippy called from the old mossy mass. Finally, Chippy got the courage to return to collect his acorn nuts. As he picked them up and slowly put them back in his cheek pouch, the smell of fresh blood filled his nostrils and he began to wonder what other animals were going to pose a threat to the small fur ball.

Character Name : Thryn
Species?(Deer,Rabbit,Moose,etc...) : Barn owl :3
Picture/Description : As you can see above she is a pretty barn owl. She is kinda thin and he feathers range on the lighter side of the spectrum. Even though Thryn lacks bulk she makes up for it with speed.
Background/History : She nests near the swifter moving creek. The nest is not a very neat one in a hollow because she likes to move around a lot. Though she is thinking of staying here. Might be more likely to talk to someone. Thryn had grown as an owlet from a different forest with her parents. The moment she felt she could fly comfortably she left. Exploring, Thryn came upon Tempestatem admiring it's beauty. If she wishes she can have a sharp tongue occasionally but other than that she's rather chatty.

((Thank you!!))
A small mountain lion looked down at the forest floor from a thick tree branch on which she perched. She had just witnessed the owl's hunt, and a scowl crossed her face. That rabbit was hers. She looked over the chipmunk with mild interest. It was too small to satisfy her hunger. Zarya stood on the branch, balancing quite well thanks to her long tail, and stretched her back. A yawn ripped through her maw and she crouched on the branch once more. With a small leap, she landed to the ground with a thud. A pink tongue rasped over her paw as she sat up to clean herself.
Satisfied with her bathing, Zarya slinked past the tree where the chipmunk had went, past the rock where a wolf's scent still lingered, and paused at the treeline. She gazed into the meadow with longing. There were a few deer here, but she would not risk trying to take one down now. Her hunger would take no more than a few rabbits to be subdued, anyway. She was crouched down, waiting until she pinpointed exactly where she should pounce, when she heard a scuttling of the leaves near her. Small ears pricked and alert, she sniffed the air and let a small smirk play across her face. Porcupine. Oh, how long it had been since she had eaten a porcupine. Turning her attention away from the meadow, Zarya stalked towards her prey. When it came into sight, she froze, then pounced.
Using her massive paws, she was able to flip the porcupine over and slice into its exposed stomach with hook-like claws. She dipped her head and said a quick thanks to the porcupine. Her mother had taught her to always respect the prey, for it had fed her and kept her alive. She picked carefully around the quills, and soon, there was barely anything left of the porcupine. Zarya licked her chops hastily and padded down the trail to the less occupied creek. She stretched out on a rock and let the sun shine down on her.

Character Name || Hiro
Species || Red Fox
Picture/Description || Above
Background/History || Hiro was born in a den at the edge of the meadow. Him being the only kit in the litter, he did occasionally get bored and lonely. After he was allowed out of the den, he entertained himself by chasing bugs and trying to catch butterflies. A few weeks later his mother began teaching him how to hunt and hide from larger predators if need be. He was a quick learner and sadly there was a day where he had to put his lessons into motion. And it wasn't hunting. While his mother and him were going towards the creek they decided to hunt and had gotten a decent sized rabbit. Unfortunately he and his mother were attacked by a desperate wolf. The thing was thin and looked as if he had rabies. His mother ordered him to run so he did so while his mother tried to scare him off. But, because of their nature and small bodies, his mother he found dead in the meadow. The wolf and gone and the young fox was able totake his mother into the trees. He was a year old when his mother died. Hirowas gonna leave anyways and probably should have earlier in time but he amd his mother grew a bond like no other and stuck together often because Hiro was born rather small and didn't grow to full size until after her death. He now lives in that same den, with no mate really. They don't interest him at the moment.

Scotch
It seemed that the buck didn't hear him. But if he was just ignoring him, he would not bother the buck any longer. So he hopped away. He perked his ears, looking at the rabbit who had turned around and then got captured by a Horned Owl. Eyes widening, Scotch started to hop away to a shelter of a bush. He always hid in bushes when he was scared, he also hid with his guardian animal when he was scared. But right now, he didn't have one.

Thryn's wings beat rhythmically, barely making a sound as she flapped over the burbling stream. As she thought about it, barn owls didn't really make a flap as they flew. It was more of a whoosh rather than make a crack in the air. Flipping her head about she was curious if anything, or anyone was nearby. After several minutes of nothing Thryn glided gently to her hollow. A crack was in the wood, allowing her to shove a medium-sized stick to provide a small perch for herself. The barn owl had already lined her nest with some moss and a couple of her breast feathers. She was considering moving into here, this place felt like home for her.

Riana
Soon arriving to her resting point Riana once again extended then leapt from her hind quarters swiftly onto the broad rock that stood before her-landing nearly without a sound. As she circled her claws scraped acorss the rough surface but nothing to disturb the grazing and hunting animals near by, now having her kill the she-wolf was satisfied and wouldn't be hunting for yet another few hours. Taking no time in wasting she lowered herself onto her stomach-then dropping the kill between her long, sturdy legs.
Her stomach letting out one last growl she quickly tucked in, her sharp fangs ripping through the flesh with ease-small clumps of fur drifted away with the gusts of wind whilst others surrounded her paws. It didn't take long for her white teeth to become blood stained, having a black pelt was an advantage to her also-as it was less likely to stain. Hunger had overwhelmed the she-wolf causing her to devour her kill in atleast 5 minutes and is usually took her longer. With her hunger now satisfied Riana could now take this time and spend a few hourse basking in the sun and even maybe, just maybe, socializing. But something caught her eyes.
There appeared to be a small black-patched creature leaping through the grass and stopping not to far off. Tilting her head she glared at the near by stranger for a second-something must have startled him. This creature was one she recognised as a rabbit. Looking down into the near by bush she let out a bark like sound. "You alright down 'er?" she questioned shuffling to her paws, the fur of her kill now being cleared-running her tongue across her lips to get rid of the remaining blood stains. It was odd for Riana to be kind to a stranger let alone a rabbit-something she recognised as prey but for once, she seemed to be being 'kind' to these furred beasts.

Scotch
Scotch perked his ears, slowly poking his head out of the bush as the wolf called out to him. "O-O-Owl!" He stuttered at first, before speaking again. "O-Owl carry r-rabbit a-a-away..." He finally blurted out, tucking his head back in the bush. Scotch was still very terrified of what he had seen. He'd never seen an owl carry off a rabbit before in his life, if he did he didn't remember. But owls were all around the forest, and he was on the bottom of the food chain here. He was in danger every second of the day, an owl could've been heading his way to eat him right now. It was hard for Scotch to stop thinking about the rabbit being carried off by the owl. He would probably have nightmares, of course, but he would be more aware of his surroundings.

Riana
Glancing down at the small creature Riana carefully listened-but from what she could pick up the rabbit seemed frightened and began speaking with a slight stutter. Raising a brow she tilted her head ever so slightly as she waited, to allow the rabbit to get out its words. And eventually-but still with a slight stutter, he spoke. Moving her head back into place she let out a sigh-the youngster seemed shocked by witnessing his own kind being swept away in the large talons of an owl. Sadly, Riana didn't feel sympathy as she too had just hunted one of those small creatures, although she did feel slightly sorry for how traumatic it must of been for him.
Clearing her throat the she-wolf lay just starring at the rabbit who had now sunken back into the long grass that filled the meadow, obviously still shocked. Licking her lips one more time "Oh, I see. Well the owl done that for survival, you eat the grass and obviously there's plents-but others eat other creatures, which there isn't very many of so they eat what they can" she spoke her head now on her paws-she seemed to enkoy the company of someone else as she was always alone.

Chippy
Chippy's large, bulging face of acorns looked in all directions, especially at the sky where the owl had swooped down. There was no longer the loud, slow beat of the owls wings, just the rustling of the tree leaves. Chippy sighed in relief and looked back at the hollowed out log. It seemed quite a safe place, unlike his tree where he was a clear target for an attack by flying creature. And it was also not big enough for a bear or wolf to scamper inside. "Dis is now mai home" Chippy squeaked as he walked towards it on all fours. There was a lot of growing moss on the insides and outside of the trunk which was perfect for soft bedding, but not so much for making a small blanket out of. That was a job for some animal fur.
Chippy scampered up his old tree that he stupidly had called home. He scurried along the branch which lead to a fork, where he had nested, but as soon as he had reached it, the rabbit fur that he used to keep him warm had blown away in the wind. Chippy sat and looked down at the scenery below. It looked so peaceful, so gentle, a perfect place to nest, but this was soon swept away by a wolf in the territory. "N-n-no wonder Chipmunks nest in twees." Chippy mumbled and he strained his eyes to see what the wolf was doing, or more importantly, where he was going. Just as Chippy was about to fall of the branch as he leaned over to get a better look, Chippy spotted a rabbit right near where he wolf. "I-I-I G-Gotta help!" The Chipmunk squeaked, and he scurried along the tree branch and all the way to the bottom of the large Pine. Chippy bolted across the forest floor to his new tree trunk home and emptied his cheek pouches of four whole acorn nuts. "There there, lil' buddies. You be safe here." Chippy said, patting his treasured hoard. The young Chipmunk shot out of his den and then about a stood feet away from the pretty dark wolf. "Leave wabbit's alone!" Chippy yelled, lunging on the wolf as he lay on the grass and then onto the wolfs ear which he held onto and bit into.
(The wolf and the Rabbit was of course Riana and Scotch. Sorry Chippy was a bit violent. He did not want to see another 'Wabbit' killed. x3 And those spelling mistakes when Chippy talked where not actually spelling mistakes. It just gives you a better idea of how Chippy pronounced words.)

((It just shows Chippys cuteness and boy is he adorable! Just one thing, Riana is a female and she's seated on a rock above the rabbit xD sorry if my post wasn't clear about that))

Riana
Out of the corner of her eye Riana notcied something clamber down a tree, but in the time her eyes wondered over nothing was there. Narrowing her left brown and raising her right she glanced in the same direction searching for the creature that was a small distance away. But all seemed silent and clear until suddenly a small furry creature pounced towards her gripping onto her fur and quickly clambering up to her ear. Growling Riana swung her head.
From the corner of her eye the black she-wolf soon recognised the small creature as a chipmunk-she never seen these creatures as prey as their tiny size never really satisfied her hunger. Chuckling at the small chipmunks aggression Riana violently shook her large head in order to rid of the small creature-then hearing its words. Stopping she looked at the chipmunk who was now hanging over her fave still clung onto her ear "Hurt the rabbit? If as going to don't you think I would of by now?" she mumbled as she pawed at her ear hoping to knock the rodent off.

Character Name~
Autumn
Species~
Red Fox | Vixen
Description~
Being a fox, intelligence obviously comes naturally. Some animals use their intelligence to create havoc for others and some use their intelligence for the greater good. Autumn is somewhere in between these two types of character. Although her intentions are never to hurt anyone, she likes to be mischievous and watch chaos unfold. Her first impressions aren't the best; cocky, flirty and teasing. But, underneath all of the sarcastic comments she is a big softie, sweet and funny and quite sensitive at times. Towards tods (male foxes), she is quite flirtatious and is always very careful of what she says, not giving away a lot of information about herself.
To those she trusts, Autumn knows how to have fun and is a bit of a dare-devil. Her self-pride is quite strong and not easily wounded, and she doesn't react well with others thinking lowly of her. She almost never turns down a challenge, this is sometimes an advantage but it's one of her biggest weaknesses. In the art of persuasion, Autumn is very good at figuring out people's pressure points and she almost always gets what she wants. Despite her downfalls, she is extremely loyal and her bravery cannot go unnoticed.
Background/History~
Born a single kit with no siblings, Autumn adjusted to independence very quickly. Her mother and father were very protective if her and brought her up to be a beautiful, strong vixen. After two years of being taught to hunt and survive alone, Autumn finally
left the den and travelled for months trying to find a place to call home. Just as she was about to give up, she stumbled across the perfect forest for her to live. She currently has no mate, but is interested in finding one and possibly starting a family of her own.

Scotch
Scotch poked his head out of the bush again as he heard the noise the wolf and some other creature was making. When he got a good look at what was going on(a chipmunk biting a wolf's ear) he started to laugh. He'd never seen a chipmunk try anything as stupid as that before! But it was kinda addicting to watch but he had to step in for the wolf. "Chill out Chipmunk, if it was going to eat me I'd be running away, and it would've been chasing me right now, or carrying me in its jaws!" He said. "But thanks for thinking I was in trouble, that would be a real friend of you to come and save me!" Scotch smiled.

A large paw groggily flopped around, searching for the twig she remembered well. Her paw brushed against it, and she immediately brought it to herself. Sitting up, Avern rubbed her eyes using her paws, letting out a small yawn as she shook herself off. She squinted in her cave at the brightness of the sunlight. Too bright. Shaking her head, she glanced down at the twig in her claws. It was from a while ago. The leaf was already withered, dried, old, and only a lifeless color of red remained in it. She latched her teeth onto it, inhaling the familiar scent of her older sister. Though faded, tt still lingered on the twig. It surprised Avern. The twig was from a while ago, when her sister brought it in to amuse Avern, since the young bear was making of fuss of being bored. It didn't do much to help, but she contented herself with it. That was a year before her sister suddenly vanished.
Brushing the memories from her mind, Avern shuffled forward, poking her head out from her cave. The forest sounds and scents came flooding in, and she nearly stumbled back from the sudden rush of it. The cries and screams of the birds pierced her ears; the splash of the fish in the nearby stream made her stomach rumble; the chatters of the squirrels and chipmunks annoyed her; and the occasional screech of an owl made her cower, even though they could give her no harm. Forcing herself forward, the large black bear lumbered through the woods, making her way towards the first stream, where all the fish dwelled. By the time she reached her destination, her stomach was whining for a meal.
Pausing near the edge of the thinning trees, she raised her snout into the air, surveying the area. A few animals dotted the area, but none seemed threatening, just yet. Lowering her head, her bulky figure emerged, her eyes fixed on the stream. A small doe glanced at her, before casually moving towards where her fawn laid. Avern returned the look, before stopping near the edge of the stream. It was low enough for her to peer in, and grab a small fish or two. She quickly waddled in.
Avern remained still as she patiently watched the smooth stream. She had done this many times, following the exact steps her mother had done before, despite the times she messed up. She ignored her stomach and continued to watch, cautiously glancing behind at times. If a male bear lumbered through, she would immediately leave, avoiding any conflicts with the matters of food. As she returned her gaze, she noticed several dark shapes flowing through. Springing into action, she abruptly slammed her paws down, pinning the dark shape to the bottom of the creek, before her claws pierced into its scales. Water splashed the area around her, soaking her fur. At the sudden moment, the fishes flailed, heading into different directions in attempt to avoid the predator.
Moments later, Avern emerged from the water, fur soaked as she thrust her kills onto the dry land. Even though the fish she had caught were small, she quickly devoured them, her stomach eagerly receiving the meal.

Uzal watched as the chipmunk skirted off, and he decided not to follow it. It didn't seem like the chipmunk had noticed him. Releasing a small sigh, the red fox turned and bounded off, turning towards his log which he called home. Perhaps he would receive some rest, before heading out later at dawn. Right now, he wasn't interested in anything, and his limbs felt slightly tired at the moment. His paws brushed against the grass as he weaved through the meadow, casually glancing at the herds. They were calmly grazing, and he somewhat wished he could at least taste some of their meat. Every time he attempted to approach a carcass, some wolf or bear would be already at it, snapping at him till he dashed off.
He entered his log, facing the opening in cause of an emergency. As he curled up in a loose ball of fur, he dropped all his thoughts. Though when he closed his eyes, no sleep came upon him. Instead, he remained curled, suspiciously watching the surroundings around him.

Autumn
A low huff escaped the vixen's white maw as she was stretched out, bathing in a patch of warm sunlight. She was bored. Most days, something exciting would happen that she would end up involved in. But days like this she would normally annoy a squirrel, or stay in her den until nighttime. She was also really hungry, past the point where her stomach would rumble in protest. She was hungry to the point of actual pain. She had spent hours scanning the woods for an easy meal like a carcass, but there was no such luck. Her amber eyes opened, squinting slightly at the bright colours that surrounded her. She stretched her legs out in front of her, sighing as a few cracks released the tension in her muscles. As she sat up, a smell wafted up her nostrils. A wonderful smell. A miracle smell.
It was only a matter of seconds before Autumn was up and padding silently through the forest. A few scents made her stop and hesitate, but the pain in her stomach was too agonising to ignore. She quickened her pace, following her nose until she reached the meadow, her gaze resting on the large herd of deer. She wasn't going to hunt the deer, that would be suicide. The vixen stayed in the shadows of the canopy, making her way around the outskirts of the meadow. Her sharp optics rested on a fresh deer carcass, it was an old deer so it's death seemed to be of natural causes. Looking left and right, Autumn padded over to the carcass, sniffing at the meat hesitantly before digging in. She ripped shreds of meat from the bone in her hunger, snapping up the flesh and swallowing it quickly.
The only thing that made her stop was a crack behind her, a sound that made her ears flatten against her head and her tail yuck in between her legs. She whipped around to meet the gaze of a lone wolf and a sigh of relief escaped her maw. It could of been a bear or a whole pack of wolves. This wolf was many times bigger that her with a dark, almost black pelt. "Move." A growl came from the wolf's lips which were now pulled up in a snarl. There was no way Autumn was going to move, her hunger was only partially satisfied. "Why can't we just share it? Two canines in harmony?" Her voice was meant to come out as strong and defiant, but all that came out was a small voice, slightly shaking. The wolf's snarl didn't even falter, "How about no." A large, padded paw flew out and smacked the fox right on the maw, sending her flying. A yelp echoed through the meadow, causing many heads to turn from their grazing.

Kilo was circling through the air. A flock of birds were one the ground, crowding around something. He landed by a smaller Great Horned Owl. "What's going on?"
"A grizzly bear killed a deer, and we are waiting for scraps!" The Owlet clicked.
Kilo flew in closer, to get a better look. A huge grizzly was chowing down into a deer. Kilo watched. He wasn't too hungry, but the deer did look good. Because of his size adult deer were too big, his talons would fall off if he tried. Suddenly the bear moved away and all the birds moved in, including Kilo. Kilo took a nibble. It tasted like fawn, just tougher. Kilo flew off. He searched for a while, before coming to the creek. He landed, and began to drink. He then flew away, and just flew for fun.

Chippy
Chippy tried to hang on with all his might, both of his little paws attached to the wolfs ear. "Nooooooooo!" The Chipmunk squealed as he was flung off as the wolf shook her head, his limbs failing helplessly in mid-air. Chippy braced for impact, but was greeted by a large, soft clump of grass that broke his fall. The ball of fur listened as the two animals explained to him that it was a simple misunderstanding. "Das strange," Chippy spoke as he tried to find his way out of the jungle of tall grass. "Never seen a Wolf and a Wabbit become friends." He said in his sweet, high-pitched voice.
Finally pushing apart some grass blades, the young Chipmunk jumped out of the grass, but still stayed his distance from the Wolf, not wanting to take any chances. "I is Chippy, the coolest Chipmunk ever. I know my name sounds like a babies but my mumma said I am not allowed to change it to 'Rex the Awesome' because of reasons." Chippy squeaked, standing on his two back feet and looking at the unlikely pair of animals together. "And my home is one hundred percent not in dat hollowed out log over dere, K? So no going dere. I also saw massive spider in dere so I would not go in dere if I was you." Chippy was 100%, lying about the hollowed out log not being his home, but he wanted to protect his stash of nuts with all his might. "Soooo, wos your name?" Chippy smiled half-heartedly.
-
((No pictures gotta be quick))
Suddenly, the weight had gone from her ear causing her brows to raise again, lifting her head she glanced at the small Chipmunk flying through the air-to quickly land on a heap of grass. Parting her jaws slightly in a shocked way but luckily the young creature was ok. Sighing in relief she smiled at the striped cratures words. Glancing at the rabbit who previously spoke "Yeah, I would of attacked already..." She mumbled rolling her eyes-but then listened to what the greature now known as Chippy had to say. "Yeah its strange, but you gotta make friends with someone or you'll be lonely forever" she replied dipping her head, now remaining quiet she listened to the chipmunks words with a smile "the names Riana!" She spoke with a more cheerful tone-her thick tail wagging slightly.
-
((No picture I'm in my iPhone ))
Scotch giggled as the little chipmunk flew off into the tall grass but quickly stopped when he heard the word 'friends'. "Seriously? You my friend? Predator and prey friends..?" He asked looking up at the beautiful black wolf. "Do you really mean we're friends..?" He muttered another time then listened to what the chipmunk had to say. It introduced itself then asked the two their names. The wolf named Riana went first then Scotch. "Well my name is Scotch!" The rabbit smiled, nodding his head toward his two new companions.

Hiro's gazed shifted in the darkness of his den. If one were to enter they would only be able to see his eyes. Parting his jaws, Hiro yawned. He got to his smallish paws and made his way to the entrance of his den. He poked his head out and glanced arojnd a moment before stepping out and pushing through the udnergrowth. He could smell strong scents of wolves and rodents, possibly a rabbit. He shrugged and swerved away from the scents. Hiro lept over a tree branch and under a high tree root before reacging the creek. He walked to the waters edge and lowered his head down, parting his jaws to lap at the water. After a moment of lapping the water, he sat down at the waters edge andglanced around.

Zarya perked her ears at the conversation of three unlikely animals. She had left her sunbathing rock to find something more fun to do- like chase the deer and rabbits in the meadow- when she stumbled upon the trio. A laugh made its way up her throat and she only spared a side glance at the creatures, "Prey should run from the predator. Only a fool as tiny as you would attack a wolf. Even if it wasn't going to attack." The mountain lion pounced in their direction and snapped her jaws shut in the air. She chuckled and leaped up into a nearby tree. She stretched out onto a large branch, "But I would like to hear the rest of this 'friendly' conversation between hunter and hunted. Please, don't mind me. Continue as you were."
((Chippy's not a fool. Zar's just grouchy.))

((Still on phone))
Scotch gasped seeing the mountain lion bud on. "I-I-I guess that's correct..." He muttered now glancing at the wolf, slowly hopping under her. He looked at her as if he was saying 'please protect me.." Honestly, he was terrified but something was different about this wolf. She seemed nice. And it would provide him protection from predators like this mountain lion.

Riana
As Riana sterred bluntly at the small creature she raised a brow as if to hurry the small creature into speaking, luckily the she-wolf was tolerent and less likely to attack when she was calm-her tail thumped against the rock but her attention was quickly torn away. Her large eyes locked onto what seemed like a tan creature drawing nearer to theM-watching what this mountain lion was doing she remaind laying on her side. A cool breeze continued to blow as she sat ontop of the rock. Ears began to twitch as the she-cat begun to speak.
Looking back at the chipmunk she now knew as Chippy as the lion spoke about his actions being stupid. Chuckling the sound of sudden rustling and the snapping of jaws caused her head to whip around and a growl to rumble up her throat and erupt past her lips-the lion snapping its jaws near by. Feeling something press against her leg Riana lifted it into the air, looking down and seeing the spotted rabbit-raising a brow she shrugged and placed her paw back down. Her attention moved back onto the lion who was now seated in a tree. "Yeah it is odd, but so is a lot of thigs!" she smirked for a split second, then raised her left brow as she looked up at the feline, a smile slowly fored at the side of her face as her tail beated against the rock.
-
"Indeed. I would like to know if you 'buddies' stay together, and by the looks of that rabbit, you probably will. When winter does come, deer are harder to find, most animals hide, the wolf will get hungry. And she'll have a snack within reach at all times. Tell me, Scotch, was it? Tell me how you are able to trust a wolf so easily. They are smart and cunning, this may be just a trick into keeping you around until she's hungry. After all, there's nothing like a fresh kill to satisfy the stomach." A half-smile set on her face as she looked down at them, her blue eyes locking onto the rabbit with an intense stare.
-
"Well, I don't plan to stick around with a wolf, I'm just taking shelter while you decide when you want to go back to hell, were you belong." The rabbit spat at the wolf, eyes 'narrowing'. "And stop acting like a know it all mountain lion, everyone knows that you cats are the dumbest things in the worlds, isn't that a fact? When the humans are gone, the dogs will most likely be the dominate species on earth, you on the other hand will be bowing before them!" The rabbit spoke boldly, as if he wasn't afraid.

Riana
The she-wolfs eyes locked onto the feline as she spoke again, it seemed as if she was trying to tease the rabbit or make the situation a little more intense-which seemed to be working. But Riana couldn't help but grin, her head soon turning to the rabbit who seemed to have an outburst and sick up for himself-raising a brow she nodded. Then looking back at the lion "You could be right, but sadly you aren't. I tend to do my hunting with more of a challange and prefferably a bigger meal if getting the chance, but why would I make something I know a meal? A little sly wouldn't it be?" she muttered with a more rough tone.
Looking down at Scotch she raised a brow, then slowly lifted to her haunches-the rabbit still seeming pressed against her as protection. The day was getting on and she wasn't planning on sitting around all day connecting with others-she wanted to wonder around like usual. Running her tongue across her lips she allowed her jaws to part in a yawn, a whine sound coming out as her head jerked back ever so slightly. A few minutes later she lifted to her paws looking at the lion "Now I'll be on my way. If you need any help Scotch feel free to find me!" she muttered with a dip of her head.
With that the she-wolf crawled towards the edge of the rock, sending one last glance in the pairs direction with a sarcastic laugh escaping past her lips which was soon followed by a shake to her head. Pulling her legs up from the rock and allowing them to hang of the edge-in a quick motion she pushed off with her hind legs and landed swiftly on the ground. Slowly she began to walk away.

Zarya snickered as the wolf left. She looked down at the two creatures. "Aw, your protection left you. I suggest you run. I've been wanting a good chase." She stood up and stretched, "It was nice hearing where you live, Chippy." She glanced over at the log and smirked, "It's good to know that whenever I may need a bite, you'll be there." The mountain lion jumped down and sat at the base of the tree. She extended her hook-like claws and licked her paw. She glared at Scotch, "Humans have nothing to do here. Isn't as if humans don't exist already? Are cats and dogs competing to be the best? No, I didn't think so. I don't know how long you've been in the forest, and by the way you act, it seems either you've been raised outside of the forest or you've got some loose screws. What were you thinking? 'Maybe if I go up to this wolf it may not eat me?' You know, the only reason you're not dead now is because it just so happens that I've eaten not to long ago." Zarya smiled and stood, her tail flicking back and forth, "Do hope that we never cross paths again. I suggest you stay away from predators. All you've got to do is stick around a slower rabbit. Most will go after the weakest. Survival of the Fittest, you know?" The cougar glanced up at the meadow. Most of the deer in it had seen her and moved to the far side of the meadow, still eyeing her warily. They were ready to run. "Aww, such a shame. I was hoping for a good chase before I tucked in for a nap."
((These are what I mean by 'hook-like' claws.))

Scotch 'grunted' rolling his eyes. "I'm not scared of you, pathetic cat." Scotch muttered, quickly hopping away from the mountain lion. He truthfully wanted to get away. It was also a risk he was taking, traveling with a wolf asking it for protection. He'd probably get swallowed entirely, but still he wanted to get away from the mountain lion, so it was a risk he was willing to take.

Riana
As Riana walked away she could still hear the voices of the three creatures she had left behind, her tail swaying loosely behind her as she heard the last few words of the mountain lion. Rolling her eyes she shook her head "Dumb, pesky cats! Think they know it all I tell ya, when really they've got a few bolts loose..." she mumbled to herself taking a glance backalthough what she said was true, Riana wasn't on planning on doing so-when hunting she likes a challange, not something she could just grab. Besides she knew Scotch and Chippy why would she attack. Shaking her head and ridding of the thoughs a familiar smell of rabbit lingered into her nose-raising a brow she turned her head stopping in the same time.
Allowing one ear to drop it appeared Scotch was heading off in the same direction, tilting her head a little she sighed and decided to wait. Once the small furball stopped beside her she smiled. Turning back to glance at the lion then back at Scotch "I see you don't want to stay around there for much longer..." she muttered with a chuckle-her tail flicking as she turned.
Giving her fluffed tail one last flick she continued forward. Her long, sturdy legs extending as her large, broad paws pressed against the soft crass, her ears twiched at the many sounds she could hear around her. Unaware wheather the rabbit was going to stick around or leave she continued forward-either way she didn't mind, company was company. Running her longue across her lips the black she-wolf had now entered the forest almost, the place where she liked to get a little exercise or go for a swim.

Kilo was flying through the air when he saw something happening below. He landed in a nearby tree and watched. A mountain lion was talking with a wolf and what looked like a rabbit and chipmunk. He heard the mountain lion say something about the trio being friends. 'A chipmunk, rabbit and wolf? I thought wolves always ate them..' He wanted to intervene, but he knew how dangerous mountain lions were, and just kept watching in interest. When the trio left the mountain lion, Kilo flew off.
-
"Stay around?" Scotch gasped. "Are you joking! Once you left I think she was planning to eat me... And I find you interesting wolf... Yer not like the others but still your predator and I'm prey so I am still tense around you no offense. " Scotch said looking around. "So.. Where are you headed?" The rabbit asked, his head tilted a slight bit.

Character Name
Aoi
Species?
Wolf
Picture/Description
Aoi is a solid white wolf with blue eyes, as you can see in the picture. She stands at 28 inches, and is built for hunting big game. Her legs are long, and her body is sleek. One of her ears has a hole in the side, and she can normally be seen LOOMING around the river on her own.
Background/History
Aoi was born in the snow, and was the only pup of the alphas. She acted as a keeper of peace when the times got hard, the snow got deeper, and the violent outbursts between her pack mates became more severe and often. In the last winter, her family didn't stand a chance at all, due to the lack of food, seeing as the herds moved away from the ice and snow. Following the herds, Aoi hunts on her own, and even travels on her own.

With the Rabbits sudden outburst Riana chuckled-her head turning back now and the cat was gone from view-but an owl quickly replaced her as it flew up into the sky from a tree. Shrugging, the black she-wolf turned her head back towards the small spotted Rabbit that was now hopping along side her "It wouldn't surprise me, those felines are unpredictable" she mumbled with a slight roll to her eyes as she slowed down the pace for the smaller and obviously younger creature. Watching her way as she stalked forward, broad paws pressing against the soil leaving prints and twigs snapping beneath her heavy paws. "And I would expect you to be, Rabbit. But don't worry, I don't count those I have been friendly to as prey, more of a protector if you would say..." Smiling she looked down at the rabbit and nodded her head "Well, anywhere my legs take me-unless you thought of somewhere?" She spoke, with a questioning tone and a tilt to her head followed by a raised brow.
-
The rabbit smiled at the wolf, standing on his hine legs and licking her nose. "You are really nice." He said. "An do you mind if I tag along for a bit? I think I have enough trust in you to at keep me safe for a little while..." He looked at the wolf again before continuing along beside the wolf, proud that he made a new friend that wouldn't eat him.

Riana
As the black she-wolf trudged along she felt a sudden wet feelineg on her snout-causing her to stop for a moment looking down at the smaller creature-a half smile on her face although she felt a little weird after that from a prey animal. Shrugging it off she quickly stepped forward catching up with him and looking down "Yeah well you gotta be nice to someone, besides I don't focus on killing things as much as most predators do..." she mumbled raising a brow. The question of the small creature caused her ears to swirl around "I guess wouldn't mind that, aslong as you don't muck up my hunting or anything-and I shall protect you." she spoke dipping her head.
Although Riana wasn't quite sure where she was going she knew her surroundings rather well-they seemed to be heading a little more towards the forested area of the forest-were most animals seemed to wonder at night, although it wasn't the safest it held a challange just what she liked. Looking down at her new buddy she smiled.

The mountain lion watched the little rabbit hop away. She chuckled, a wicked sound in the back of her throat, "Oh but you should be, little one." She stayed at her spot for a split second before disappearing through some underbrush. Her ears swiveled as she caught the sound of an owl's wings beating. Night was coming soon. If she were to have a night hunt, she'd better rest now. Zarya returned to the crevice in the side of a cliff that she called her den. It was farther away from the meadow, but it was still close to the more occupied creek. She could usually catch an unsuspecting traveler of the night. She pushed the encounter with the trio of unlikely friends to the back of her mind. That was a spur of the moment argument. The truth is, Zarya had little to no one to speak to her whole life. At times she went weeks without talking at all. It had actually felt good to talk to someone, even though it was to a stubborn little uncaring rabbit.
