Title: Question About Textures
Post by: StormClaws68 on April 10, 2014, 09:16:41 pm
[Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, move the thread if needed]

How do you change the texture of an object, but not overwrite the old one?

Sorry if that sounds weird, I'll try and explain it more.

I want a cave, with a grass texture, but still want the cave with the original texture so I may use both on a map I'm making.

How do I do this?

Thanks!
~Stormy

From what I know, and correct me if I'm mistaken, there isn't a way to keep both textures and use them simultaneously. However, ye' can save the original texture, or both of them, and make a copy of each so ye' can swap out the textures whenever ye'd like to do so. Just be sure to save the copies in a seperate folder so ye' won't lose them nor have to worry about messin' up yer FeralHeart files.

This is different if yer talkin' about makin' a map for ye' can simply re-texture the cave objects yer placin' within yer map(s).

Lastly, it would seem this is in the wrong section. This belongs in the child board Game Help. I'll get a staff member to move this thread for ye'.
