Hey guys, guess what this article is gonna be about. If you guessed maps, then you got that right. Here's my story.
I was running around in my test map, and listening to my music track on that custom test map I made. It was my first track I made so I was pretty proud of myself. Whenever I was finished listening to the first song that was on the track a vERY LOUD staticy noise came and scared the floof out of me. It happened with the other three songs in the track before I went "Okay, that's it, I'm leaving, that static is scaring the floof out of me." I've heard the static in other maps I've downloaded too, but they weren't so loud, it was short and quick plus it was only on one song! Is this normal or is it some sort of scary bug??

I believe I know what you mean of that sound, it does happen' to me when I make my own track, and it might be just a minar glitch or bug, but I've never seen one getting very loud or for any long time period continuing.

Ah, I did ALL of that correct actually, every single thing, but as you know the static noise came on and etc, scared the begeebers out of me. Maybe if I remove one of the files??

Hmm, try this method~
1. Download any music you like, ANY.
2. Name it.
Ex. Pop.
3. Go to Main Disk >> C: > FeralHeart and open music.cfg in notepad.
4. Then you'll see all the plain music and stuff.
Make a new one as named this.
Ex. [MyMusic]
5. And write this.
Ex. media/music/Pop.mp3
6. Exit it and open up the game.
Then go to 'Tools' >> Map Maker > You're created map and you'll see something write in the 'Music (Group or Filename):
7. Then write this.
Ex. MyMusic.
8. Then press 'Test' and you'll hear the music you created.
You may have as many music filenames in the MyMusic group as you like.

Ah, this worked! Thank you! I think the reason why it was making a staticy noise is because I made the music myself on a site called UJAM. Its a good site and you can make good music on it, but I don't think it would be compatible with FH now. Thanks~!
