Title: First fail at fur xD
Post by: IcyFrost on May 10, 2014, 05:27:02 pm
Last night, I decided to try a freehand sketch on my computer. Of course, after sketching, I edited the lines.. But then fell asleep xD. I continued with the lines this morning until I came up with something that looked very weird o,o

So.. Here chu go..

I may have forgotten to tell you that your eyes had a 90% chance of melting right there.. /)>.=)
Yah. Maybe I shouldn't try to do fur again for a long while xD

First fail? Nonsense. That is gorgeous and astonishing. <3
I'm speechless. Just amazing. Wow. Speechless.
Don't give up hope, that is amazing, I'm sure you will be amazingly talented when you keep on trying. Pf.. you are already talented.

You will fail plenty more times, too, darling~

But failing brings you closer to achieving, yes?

It's pretty good, but instead of making one clump of fur with dragging the mouse/whatever you use around, try doing nice and even strokes. You'll be golden then!

Herpderp. Thanks all :)
@Baby-Doll, it started out as circles and triangles... Idk. I'll try, but I'm not the best with a mouse. Should have taken the touchscreen option when I was given it xD

Also, don't want to turn this into a help thread, but could someone link me to a tutorial on how to paint smoother strokes in gimp?
