Background/History: Katta was born and raised between Wall Maria and Rose. By the time the colossal titan appeared, she was already in training and her mother, father, and younger sister safely fled to the safety Wall Rose. As a trainee, she was one of the top three. The only reason she was so determined to beat the titans is because she was tired of always seeing the survey corps return with far fewer members than they set out with; dreary eyed and defeated. Now twenty-two years old, she is an excellent fighter. However, like many she of course has weaknesses.
