Siiiigh. My issues with presets are never over, aren't they?
Let's begin with what the issue is: I don't know how to make transparent preset, much to the demise of all the transparent-preset tutorials I've read up on. I just can't work it out, because, you know, I'm a slow person when it comes to maps and presets. Another sigh.
I can't give links at this time, sorry (maybe one or two). I'll try my best to describe it, and give you the code that's put into my preset_6 .txt file. I'll describe what it looks like in the game, what it looks like in the folder, etc. I also have some questions.
Part One: What it looks like in-game
It's sort of half-white, half-cat (what the preset was supposed to look like). It's not really easy to see, and I'm frustrated with it.
Part Deux: What it looks like in Gimp (body)
It is pretty much the body, full-colored (no transparency.), with a texture over it and the space where there isn't supposed to be a leg erased.
(What is it supposed to look like? :S it's a .png fyi)
I'll give a picture if need be.
Part Three: Questions :D
Q1: All of them are .png because of something I read. Is that right?
Q2: "Transparency"... I read about it somewhere, what is it, where is it?
Q3: WHY CAN'T I BE GOOD WITH PRESETS T^T

If anyone has a really good, detailed tutorial that would help total n00bs at transparent presets, could I have a link? If not, just reply to this thread with a good ol' (but short) tutorial. *more sighing*
