Title: Intro i guess?

Heh, sorry if in the wrong place, but i'm new to the forums anyway. I've been playing FH in-game for about a year now, so I realised i haven't done ANYTHING on the forums. So, here i am! I play FH alot mostly, and i have most of Redlinelies' maps. My ingame user is... oops. XD Used to IT servers. Anyway, i am always happy to hang with people!
I might need some help when it comes to putting picks in my posts, and i need to chasnge my pic. I also wish to know how to ad stuff you your signature. That is all, my amazing cookies! *throws cheese because pie is too mainstream*

other than that welcome to the forums, you're much like me, as i played the game for around a year before i started to use the forums, but there are just as many awesome floofs on here as there are ingame perhaps you'll meet quite a few of them <3
make sre to read up on the forum rules, get yourself familiar with where things get posted by just looking about a little, that often helps, if you have any doubts, worry's or just need some help or someone just to hang about with feel free to pm me <3

As for yer confusion, look at this tutorial below (to which I'll place in a spoiler) and it'll guide ye' step by step on how to insert pictures in yer posts:

Say you're browsing through the google images, and you see something nice show up:
Attractive, isn't it? Anyway, so, I want to post it in my RP. So I would just right click it, look down till I see "Copy image URL". Click that, then return to your post. Paste the url image there, but before the url image, type in:
[IMG]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_gxq5uJIKars/S1kbVecdxcI/AAAAAAAACQU/KEyK_6ZT1yQ/s640/RedFox.jpgg[/IMG] Like that. But paste your image url into the middle of "[ IMG ] [ /IMG ]" (Ignore the spaces).

-From your computer - Uploading images -
Now to uploading images from your computer/laptop, etc. So save the picture you want to upload, and make sure you remember what folder you placed it in. Go to TinyPic (http://tinypic.com/) or some website that can upload images you like. I'm going to use TinyPic since it's the main tool I use. After uploading the image, copy:

After copying it, paste it into your post and it should appear.

Ever had a icon that was about 200x200 and it looks crisp clear when viewed on Window photo preview, then when you upload it on here it looks blurred or pixelated? Well I have the solution for you. First, Do you know the difference in computer resolution? One from a Direct upload from my computer and the other a Directlink from Photobucket. Which one do you like best? Lets move on... First you would make your picture in photoshop and or find a good resolution picture on the internet. Once you have that try to crop it to at least 200x200(sometimes 150x150 is a better option). When you do that a good place to upload your picture would be on photobucket or any related site such as it (http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag69/Youshallfearme2/be5a907e-b1f2-46bc-8ed6-21ef6ea30650_zps7aa4084c.jpg) Since I like to use Photobucket a lot this tutorial will be based on it. If you so happen to know of another file sharing shite such as this please use it First off upload your picture (http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag69/Youshallfearme2/a373ddc4-99da-411e-aaab-5309173aca9d_zps53f62add.jpg) Next when you are finishing uploading your picture then click it and there is displayed options on the right hand side. Since we are doing just Avatars you will be needing this link or similar Direct coding with a website link in it. (http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag69/Youshallfearme2/perfectAvatarII_zpsa6ada8a7.png) From there go into your profile page and on the left hand side there should be account tabs just for you..click on the one that says Forum Profile Information. From there, you should see options for your avatar as well as some for your signature. The one you will be using will be the link where it requires a direct link. Get your coding from the website and place it here. After that you have uploaded a successful avatar. Now using the "Upload from my computer" function works just as fine too, but why do you want to use a direct link coding instead of this. Reason to use Direct instead of a Computer download 1) The resolution on the image is 2x more better and more crisp 2) Using the Direct link method allows you not only upload jpgs, but also gifs as well. So you cant upload a gif onto the other setting cause it will not work. With that saying, this ends the tutorial on Avatars
Signature
For signatures we will be doing almost the same steps but will be using a different link this time. We will be using the IMG coding this time. It should be a IMG link if not then chances are it wont work to well. After that fallow the same steps as the Avatar by going into the Forum Profile Information and this time, go in your signature box. (http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag69/Youshallfearme2/2f2888e5-1467-46e5-9799-62d03fb6bf12_zps392e675d.jpg) After you click that then it will give you options such as "Signature" which is what you want. From there you just input the IMG coding you have gotten and then save it. In a few minutes or so you will have a signature. (http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/ag69/Youshallfearme2/a5d97274-8dec-4bb4-8654-145472751911_zps977f883b.jpg) And If you've done all the steps correctly then you have successfully uploaded a prefect signature. Now just a note that0 there is a size limit to this as well, you are able to see how much space you have left when you look at the number grid underneath the signature box. You can upload jpg, and gifs in the signature box as far as I know of. With all this said, this ends the tutorial on Adding a signature to your profile.
