As stated by Wolfie, I tend not
to attract these people very often as I
usually don't go to Bonfire or sit around in
places by myself. If I am ever in Bonfire,
I am usually visiting a friend or something.
The lag. The beggars. No No no.
I do remember making a male character
for the first time ever to shake things
up a bit and perhaps roleplay as
a male (Which I have never done.)
When I got on this character I
unknowingly went to Bonfire
to the back part full of plants. My char-
acter was a German Shepard, I believe.
There were other Sheps there, so yeah.
Anyways, five minutes later, I have at
least three whisper conversations going
on with the other dogs that are fishing
for compliments. Annoying.
I feel your pain.
Oh yes, and also, shadowsofthedark, she's my friend too. o3o
Well in my opinion i don't think you were harsh at all, i honestly can't stand mate beggers ether it gets really annoying at times, Even times when you let them down nicely you get those ones that takes no for an answer. I hate those ones when you are gone for a certain amount of time, like to get a drink and then when you get back you get ether a wolf or lion going close to you with out your consent and i will tell you one of the experiences i had might be the best one, i went to bonfire once to meet up with one of my friends and this mate begger comes up to me asking me "Can u be my mate? plz." and i was letting her down easily telling her nicely, that my character already had a mate and then she started raging saying. "U cheated on me, u broke my heart cheater." seriously your character just met mine and yet you are claiming that we were a couple? Plus don't forget those ones that think they are in a real life relationship.
Exactly. Some people, as you mentioned, take the game / "mating business" too seriously, and think that it's really happening in real life (I actually think I've read up on that and it's an early-staging mental disease or something like that, I honestly can't remember exactly). And, I have another story that happened with me when a "mate beggar" wanted a mate with one of my characters.
Well, the "beggar" was gradually getting closer to my character (River), but they weren't like the "average 'mate beggar'". They were actually smoothly role-playing into the question, and it went something like this (though names are changed as I can't remember, same with the words):
Sasha: The wolf meandered around the area, finally catching the scent of a male. Her ears lowered a bit and a slight smile rose to her face. She crawled closer to him, pretending not to notice him.
(I was casually chatting with a friend, not really paying attention.)
Sasha: Sasha cleared her throat, sitting down and fluffing her coat to try and grab the male's attention. "Hello." She cooed softly.
River: whatohhi))
Sasha: She sat awkwardly, getting madder and madder. "Um, hello?!"
River: ?? what are you talking about?))
Sasha ((Why aren't you role-playing with me? >())
River: um, okay?)) River gave a slight huff before turning around. The cocky grin of his plastered his face together, atleast until he saw the female who obviously wanted /his/ attention. He couldn't believe it. /She/ wanted /his/ attention. He turned back around and ignored her.
At that point, "Sasha" decided to storm off, but I was practically dead with laughter.
'Eh. Poor buggers, they're just desperate.
Annoying, but desperate. xD
