In a far away land, wolves ruled. There were two packs. They were great neighbors, until the Shadow pack's alphas were brutally murdered. The pack went haywire, blaming their neighbors, The Forest pack, for the murder. Then the Forest pack alphas were killed. The two packs kept on arguing, throwing threats at each other. Then the two packed threatened war, but the murderer did not show themself. They packs waited for days, waiting for the murderer to emerge. But nothing. The Shadow pack then attacked the Forest Pack. Surprised, they retaliated. The packs went to war, while the murderer watched from the shadows. But then the temporary rulers of the pack came to a treaty, as they finally understood the other pack wasn't murdering there wolves. But they weren't certain. Wolves are being murdered, and you are either the murderer, or the victim, no in between.

Personality: Xena is rather shy. She keeps to herself most of the time, and rarely opens up to the others. She's fairly obediant but often retaliates against the pack members who push her around, lashing out at them or biting. She gets in trouble often you could say, but it never bothered her. Her loner nature carries her out of the den site and she does get tracked down but she alwYs enjoyed the thrill of a chase.

Personality: Duni is a rather quiet wolf, but whenever she does speak she usually doesn't have anything nice to say. She is cunning and intelligent, but hotheaded and very judgemental. She doesn't have all too many friends due to her personality.

History: Duni was born in a litter of three pups, being the smallest one of them and it wasn't likely she would survive. She did grow stronger, but still being smaller than her siblings. The pups of the pack often made fun of her and it started what her personality is today. She then ran off once she was older and came to the Forest Pack. Duni doesn't tell the real story to others, she likes to scare the pups by saying that she killed a bunch of wolves in her pack and wore their fur in the winter. (Would be best pupsitter ever XD)

Mountain walked outside. He yawned and stretched. Walking towards the center of Base camp, he saw a deer. He would have to wait until Zever had eaten before he ate.

Turtle opened an eye and quickly closed it due to the early morning sun which was almost blinding. Turtle wanted to sleep more so badly, but with wolves getting murdered so often he decided it would be safer to be awake. As he got up and stretched, he smelt the scent of a deer and perked his ears. "That's a nice scent to wake up to in the morning," he said to himself.

Zever Dobe
The male woke up from the sudden sunlight's shine in his eyes. He gave a yawn and stretched his legs, before he stood up and stretched his back. He sniffed the air, scencing a deer carcass. He walked out of his den, seeing some of the wolves awken and some not.
He walked closer to the carcass and took the first bite.
Eating a bit of the meat, he lft some over to his packmates.
Seeing that not many wolves had awoken, he looked to the sky and closed his eyes, before giving a small but beautiful howl. Seeing as more wolves had awaken, he looked at the carcass before he walked away, leaving the rest for the wolves.
He walked on his rock, where usually he was found. Something looked like troubling him, but what was it. It was not about the murder mystery, but something else.
He looked at the sky, observing the passing white clouds.

Mountain watched as the alpha let out a short howl. He was about to join in, when he stopped. He nodded a good morning to the the Alpha, then sniffed at the carcass. He took a small amount of deer leg then lay down at the end of Base camp. He ate it and began to roll over, waking himself up and shedding his winter coat.

Twinkle's eyes peal open as she hears a howl from the Alpha Male. She groans as she stands up, stretching her stiff limbs. She shakes her pelt before sauntering to the carcass where Mountain was feeding from and proceeds to walk around it, sniffing the deer. She keeps her tail erected and looks around before grabbing a very small amount from the rump of the deer and padding off with it to eat. She lies in a wooded area, away from the rest and tucks in.
Once she has finished her meat, she ambles back to the rest of the group and flops onto her side. She decides that she needs more sleep.

Turtle trotted away from his resting spot towards his packmate and friend, Duni, who he had to wake every day or he joked that she'd never wake up. After nudging her gently with his muzzle he saw her eyes quickly open.
Duni hardly took notice of the canine when she had saw the carcass out of the corner of her eye. Standing up, she didn't even stretch before trotting towards the meat eagerly. Turtle groaned and followed after her, and soon the taste of meat filled their mouths. The tan female wolf helped herself more than Turtle and ate quite a bit, but seeing that not all the pack members were awake yet he ate only what he needed to not be hungry for the next few hours. Turtle then padded off to lay under a shady tree as he watched the pack.

Mountain walked towards the edge of Base camp, yawning. He looked back at the kill and walked back, ripping off a rib bone. He ran to the edge of Base camp and began gnawing at the bone. He took off one end and began to try to eat the bone marrow.

Personality: Caring, but also cruel to intruders. He always puts his pack first, despite not being alpha.

History: He was born in the Shadow pack. He was patrolling alone one day when he came face to face with the murderer. He was nearly kill but he managed to run to Shadow Pack's Base camp. He brought a few wolves to where he was nearly killed, but the murderer had run off. He never felt safe after that.

Other: He has scars on his shoulders, neck, and head from the murderer.

Twinkle sighs, unable to get back to sleep as she pads to the carcass again. Using her canines she rips a chunk of meat from around the rib area and lies on her belly as she tucks into it. She looks around with flicking ears. She was wary of the other members seeing how she was lowest ranking.

Xena's gaze opened rather slowly. She got to her paws and stretched her thin body before scenting the air. The pack was stirring which was good. She plopped back down after a moment as she watched the pack.

Kimera opened his eyes, his eye lids heby as he got up. He stretched and parted his jaws in a wide yawn. He glanced around and soon shook out his fur before sitting ince again.

Seeing that Turtle had finished eating, Duni took a small chunk of meat and carried it towards the small wolf. She laid beside him, chewing the meat while Turtle kept watching the pack. How quiet the wolves were in the morning, he thought. Anyone of us could possibly be the murderer...

Finn was sitting guard as the sun rose. He had visible scars on his head, neck, and shoulders where he was almost murdered. He was sitting in the middle of Base Camp. He volunteered to sit guard every night to watch of the murderer. He usually went to sleep afterwards. The Alpha walked out and nodded to him, then grabbed a rabbit. He crept towards the edge of Base camp, and started into the meadows that was shadowed by the cliff behind Base camp. "I swear the murderer is out there, waiting to finish me off.." He muttered to himself. He turned and sighed. Finn lay down in the middle of Base camp, and dragged a deer leg towards him, and began gnawing away on it, mostly on the bone.
Mountain walked over to the alpha, Zever Dobe, and barked, "May I take two wolves with me to check on the Shadow pack border?" He lowered himself so he was smaller and more submissive to the alpha.

Duni pushed the little bit of meat that she hadn't ate yet towards Turtle. "Go nuts," she said without hardly any expression, then rested her head on her paws watching the other wolves. Turtle gladly took the meat, and smiled at Duni happily in return.
"Thank you," he said, then continued eating.

The male, turned his gaze from the clouds to Mountain. He gave a nod, before he spoke up. "You may. But take Kimera and Duni only." The male turned his gaze away, once more looking back at the passing clouds.

He nodded then left. He walked to Kimera, "We are going to patrol the Shadow Pack border. Meet me at the entrance when you're ready." He left and said the same to Duni. He then walked over to the deer carcass, and ate a bit, then walked over to entrance.
On the border of the pack territories, a lone wolf was sniffing around. He wasn't cautious, he knew nothing of the murders. He then found a dead mouse and began gnawing away. He felt a presence behind him, and turned to look. He was horrified by the sight. A bloody wolf was standing behind him, a smile on his face. The Wolf chuckled, "You fell into my trap." The loner gasped and got up to run, but he was too late. The murderer lunged and grabbed the wolf by his throat. The loner howled in pain then gurgled, "Help.." He closed his eyes and died. The murderer slipped away and turned to look at the body,"He shoulda known.." Then the murderer left, leaving only the body as proof he was there.

Kimera nodded his head to Mountain and lay there a moment before following the male. He sat tall, and his face was rather stern as it usually was while he waited for the third canine. "Remember to watch your back." He murmered to Mountain, not making eye contact.

Personality: Megan is a born leader and survivor. She is loyal and over protective, easily angered by other wolves annoying or hurting each other, she would make a great mate and mother. But, she's not too keen on children, she is getting used to them though.

History: was born on a blood moon with no siblings, she was the only survivor. The pack thought that she killed them in her mothers stomach so, when she was 6 moons old, they attacked her and kicked her out, calling her a murderer. She hardly trusts anyone easily unless she gets a gut feeling. Hardly anyone can she her, it's like she invisible to the world,metaphorically of course.

Megan walked up to zever dobe, she stopped half way there to sniff the air, opening her mouth to try and Catch the scent that she was looking for, she didn't know what it smelt like yet but she knew she would when she smelt it. She felt like something was watching her but she didn't know what or where, it was all around her.
The grass tickled her paws as she walked and the squirrels were tossed gnawed on nuts out of the tree, they hit her cranium with a soft knock. Shaking the itch on her skull that tickled her where the nut hit, she picked up her pace.
Finally finding zever, she trotted up to him and stood in front of the alpha male.
"is it ok if I go and check the border? I feel like there is something watching us. " she spoke whitest looking around cautiously, as though to prove her point. " the murders have increased and I want to ensure the best protection for our pack."

The male, turned his gaze from the clouds to his mate. He gave a small smile, before it faded away.
He didn't liked it what he heard. "I will not allow you to risk you're life for others. Yes, pack comes first, but so as our love. Let the 3 search out the borders. If they come back alive, I will let you search, if they come back injured, you will stay here. Only time shall tell." The male stood up and walked near his mate. He sat near her, just to make sure she wont go on and do what she desires. After all, he was the Alpha Male, the higher ranked one, then came his mate. But he was the head of the pack and he wanted to keep the ones he love safe.

Megan lifted her head up to look at her mates eyes. She grunted in her head then nuzzled him as she sat down quietly next to him. "Ok, and, don't worry about me going, I understand your concern so, I will not go." with that, she licked his cheek and padded over to a tree, lying down against it. She intended to go to sleep but obviously sleep was not on her side as she remained awake.

Duni's eyes looked up towards the wolf, and stretching a bit she walked a bit lazily towards the entrance. Turtle just walked a few feet away to lay in the morning sun, and feeling the sun on his pelt he stretched out his legs and smiled, closing his eyes.
Duni sat down at the entrance, waiting.

Kimera nodded his head to the fae and turned his head to Mountain. "Lead the way." He muttered. His gaze didn't break away from the male's as he waited for him to walk.

He nodded, "Let's go." He walked out, and headed north. He smelled the air and stopped dead, "You smell that? It smells like..death." He headed towards the smell and almost gagged. A loner wolf lay dead with teeth marks in his throat. "Look!" He motioned towards the wolf, "It's dead! Something killed it.."

She stopped and looked towards the dead body, but she wasn't disgusted or horrified from the sight.
"It probably was killed by the murderer, I don't recognize the wolf though..." she came up close towards the body, sniffing it a few times. "Yep, I think it's a loner, he didn't know of all the deaths around here...."

Kimera looked at the body unfazed and walked towards it. "I'm gonna agree with Duni." He muttered. He looked around and sniffed at the ground. "Whoever it was, they didn't leave a scent." He growled, glancing around. "We should bury the body then report it to the alpha." He said firmly.

"Agreed," Duni said, staring down at the body. "Where should we bury it?"

"Let's bury him here. And I agree. He doesn't smell of the Shadow pack, and he's obviously not in our pack." He sniffed the corpse again, and snorted, "It's still fresh and the body is warm. The murderer could be close by. Stay on guard." He began to dig a hole for the wolf. He occasionally looked up, almost expecting to see the murderer.
Finn was sniffing around the Forest, when a howl made him flinch. He sniffed the air, smelling death. He slink towards it, keeping low incase the murderer was nearby. He then came to the border between shadow pack and Forest Pack territory. He scanned the trees and saw three wolves standing over a dead wolf. He watched as one of the wolves (Mountain) began digging.

"I'll help a bit," she said, and ears perked she began digging the hole with him. She sniffed the air a few times cautiously, but she figured that if the murder was indeed lurking nearby, the three of them would be able to handle him/her... or maybe not, maybe the murderer was much too strong...
"What should we do after this?" Duni asked, her paws covered in dirt as she took a step back from the hole to look around for a few seconds. She then continued digging.

The murderer was lurking a few tree lengths away, watching the three wolves dig a grave for the wolves. The Wolf blinked then let out a blood curdling howl, before dashing off.
Mountain looked at Duni, "We will report it to the alpha. Then we wi-" he was cut off by an unnaturally eerie, long howl. He started into the woods, his yellow eyes scanning for anything, but he saw nothing. He walked closer, his tail high and his hackles up. "That was not normal. That must've been the murder." He turned back and begin to dig faster, then began to drag the body to the hole. The blood from the wound dragged the ground.

She pinned her ears back turning to face the forest. They quickly came back up as her expression turned normal as she tried to hide her fear. "Yeah, uh, let's... let's hurry up. 'Cause uh... I just don't want to... uh, disturb the dead body anymore. Yeah." She kept one ear towards the forest and kept looking back towards it worriedly.

She waited for them to come back. She did get impatient when she panicked and right now, she was panicking. Se flicked her tail in irritation, getting up and pacing vigorously to try and calm herself down. She classed the murders as horrible, no, worse than horrible... Arduous. That's it! Arduous. ( don't know what it means? Either look it up or try to figure it out, it was pretty obvious. ) they were a waste of her and all the packs time. What would make anyone do this? She didn't know. As much as she would like to find out, couldn't. It was simply too dangerous.
She stopped for a while. Sniffing the air and catching their scent. They must've found out something or found another murder because they have pretty disgusting scents now, like they were getting a little bit too hot. She padded over to her mate. " I can smell them, they are coming and I have a feeling that they brought us some information too. "

Zever Dobe
The male, turned his gaze from the pack to his mate, before he spoke up. "If the provided information brings bad, you will not be allowed to leave alone, unless with 4 wolves ahead of you." The male eyes shined with worriedness he had in his heart, but his emetions were kind of hiden this moment.
He curled his tail around his paws, as he awaited forthe return of the 3 left wolves.
He too could smell the disgusting smell of something that smellt like death, but he hide that scence and the though of it, as he needed to pay more attention to his pack and his mate, then rather something that would of given the worries to others.
He awaited patiently, as he observed the pack's entrance. He was of sure that somethingwould go wrong, but as his father always told him. "Patience is the key to respect, respect is the key to honnour, honnour is the key to mercy, mercy is the key to knowldge, knowldge is the key to understanding, understanding is the key to learning and observing." It might of been a very long use of words to say, but what he said, was a truthful true.

Mountain covered the body. "Ok, let's go back to Base Camp and tell Alpha Zever. He will want to hear this." He trotted back to camp, and before he left, he looked back. "That encounter was way too close.." He muttered. He then walked back to Base camp.

Turtle trotted out towards the alphas, but remained a few feet away from them with his head lowered and his tail tucked. He then looked towards the entrance waiting for their arrival.
Duni nodded to Mountain and followed behind him. "Hopefully I won't have to hear that.. ech, that howl again!" she exclaimed.

Megan nodded. She didn't want to risk any more of the pack and decided that it would be better and safer for the pack if she stayed behind. But wait, we are gonna have to warn them not to bury any that they find anymore. It will follow the scent and kill them, then, eventually, the whole pack.
" you didn't bury them did you? Don't bury anymore, it will follow your scent. " she warned them, walking up to them when they were in clear view. Then turning back to zever she said. " I think it's best for th swell being of the pack that I stay behind, and anyone else with a stronger scent than the others. "

"How'd you know that we buried 'em?" she asked lazily, stretching out before she trotted towards Turtle not even waiting for an answer. "Hey, I'm in one piece."
Turtle smiled happily. "I was worried when I caught the scent of death, and also I heard something like a howl. A very eerie howl..."

Kimera helped them bury the body and walked behind them as they arrived back at camp. "I'll tell Zever." He said, walking ahead if the two and heading towards the alpha, his head lowering and his tail going between his legs slightly to show he was submissive. "Zever, we found a loner's body." He informed him calmly and simply. "We believe it was killed by the murderer. No scent was peft behind though." He sighed.

Megan smiled, then, she chuckled. " I think it's rather obvious." She said down at muddy paws. " plus, I could the scent of death. I think that it may be closing in on us." She said sniffing the air for any sign of it. As usual, there was none. Her sight was the worst sense she had, it was nose, then ears then her blurry sight. Not too blurry but, a lot less sharper than an average wolf's.

"Well, the murderer is for sure near by," Duni said, turning towards the other wolves. "Obviously... so I guess everyone should probably watch out. Maybe I could tell the pups the details of the dead body..." she then smirked, thinking of what she could tell the pups. Sadly, she loved to scare the kids in the pack.

Megan growled, rounding on her. " Nobody will be doing any such thing of telling the pups!" She only raised her voice at the start of the sentence,it got lower as she went through the sent ace but, still, it kept above average. She didn't mean to come off rude but, she just got a little irritated at the comment, I mean, seriously? Who tell pups oh such things? She muttered under breath, shaking her head.

She pinned her ears back when she talked so loudly towards her, and she opened her mouth to say something but quickly closed it. She didn't dare to snap back at her, even though she wished she could. There was a low growl in her throat as she got up, glaring at Megan slightly before going to Zever. Turtle huffed as she walked off before looking towards Megan.
"Sorry about that. She has a pretty... different idea of 'fun'," he said.

Meanwhile, Duni sat down a few feet away from the alpha. "What will we do now that we know the murderer is nearby again?" she asked.

Megan sighed, she instantly felt guilty but, there was no time for that. " It's ok, I shouldn't have snapped. I've just been feeling... Weird, for a while now and everything's starting to get to me, I know it's starting to get to you, too. I mean your on patrol and... Anyways. I just found it... Sick, that she wanted to go and tell the pups things that they shouldn't know about until training at least. " she said, quickly changing the subject so that she didn't ramble on like she used to, or, still does. ' as long as he doesn't start to get suspicious' she thought, remembering the start of the sentence.

"Ah, well, I think everyone's acting weird lately, I mean with the death number growing so much recently between the packs, everyone's just feeling a bit nervous. The murderer could even be in one of the packs..." he then looked towards the pack with a strange look on his face. Anyone of us could be the murderer...

Megan sighed, knowing he was right. She hadn't even thought about that, and yet, here she was. She'll have to keep a closer eye on them. " hmmm... Well. That does make sense now, doesn't it?" She said.

"Yeah..." he looked towards Duni who was awaiting Zever's reply. "Perhaps I should go there with her to make sure she doesn't say something, well, foolish again..."

Megan looked back to where he was looking. " yeah, good idea." She walked off to a big tree and layer down, she only looked up to wonder what it was like up there, then she went for a tiny cat nap.
