Title: Crashing in Ficho (Solved)
Post by: greenart6 on August 04, 2014, 06:46:40 pm
I don't know why, but a few days ago for some reason when I go into Ficho my game crashes. (Y'know, Feralheart.exe is not working, Windows is totally not fixing the problem at all) Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I don't know what's up with it, it started two days ago and I tried to get in twice, took a break, and tried again and it worked. I just went into it right now and it crashed again.

Is there a glitch going on, or does someone know how to fix this? o~o

EDIT: I should also add that I have crashed in a few maps that I downloaded, but Ficho is the only public map that hasn't worked for me.

I had an issue like this before; I ended up reinstalling the game eventually.

Anyways, try turning off water reflections and changing your rendering system if you haven't done that already. You should try lowering view distance to improve performance also.

Tried that, still crashed when I went on my character.

I hate reinstalling, since I just reinstalled recently and I'll have to get Preset Sync again :P (Plus I'll have to change all my controls again to how I want them which isn't fun xD)

You can try turning off name tags o: Sometimes alot of name tags will lag the game alot. Or, try re setting your network.

If neither of these work, you can try looking at this. (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=45737.0)

Hope it helps!

You've downloaded a few new maps? Try deleting any old maps you don't use, it can take up quite a bit of memory here and there, causing the game to crash in different maps. Or try removing the maps you have just downloaded, if ficho didn't start crashing before you downloaded them, that could be the problem~

Try some of the suggestions made above too~
They will prevent a lot of lag and keep the performance of the game running well c:
Hope this helped for you~

I ended up reinstalling, and the downloaded maps that don't work still don't work, but they don't work for other people either. (I was helping to test them out)

Ficho seems to be working alright now though.
