So, what's your opinion on random friend requests?
I don't mind when people who I know/have seen from the forums or game or something send requests, but I dislike when people who I don't know and have never talked to just randomly friend me. I always accept, but then they don't even bother to talk to me or say anything, and I just sit there like "WHO ARE YOU AND WHY DID YOU SEND ME A REQUEST"

So, what are your opinions? Or have you ever even had these random friend requests?

I have gotten random friend requests, but I see them and they will talk to me. Or, they have whispered me, usually saying "Nice character". I am not one to accept random friend requests because... Basically, I am super shy and anti-social. o.o even if that had no relevence whatsoever.

I think random friend requests are just another way of some people trying to get your attention. When I get them I feel suspicious of who they are and either whisper them or delete them right away, I never choose whether to accept them or not until I know who they are first.

Sometimes I get them without the person even saying a thing to me. Likely because they're new, though, and want friends... But I don't really accept them, anyway, since I already have a lot of people on my list as it is. x3 (Andtheyneedtotalktomefirstsothatworksoutfine. //Brick'd//) And plus, I don't know them, obviously.
I don't get random friend requests /too/ often, though, thankfully... o-o' That picture is literally my reaction every time.

...As you can tell. lol I think people send them just so they can have a lot of users on their list- maybe they think they really know the person? I don't know, reasons vary.

I've gotten lots of these before, I'm not exactly sure why they're sent to me though ;0; I'm not exactly the user that will introduce theirselves and be all friendly. I'm really shy/uncertain at first. Also, I'm not that popular so that can't be why they're sending it. Maybe they just want tons of friends? owo I feel awkward trying to continue this post so I'll end it here.

Oh yeah... There are times that I'm totally silent on a public map and people will suddenly send a friend request to me. It's really weird. Most of the time I just ignore the requests though.
I think the creepiest thing that ever happened was when I was on one of my private maps all by myself and I suddenly got a friend request. I sat there for the next five minutes just looking around thinking "How did you find me? D:"

Same here... I sometime get spammed for my fursona to join random packs, or for my cougar to join lion prides... LOOK AT THE MARKINGS PEOPLE! NOT EVERY SANDY-COLORED BIG CAT WITHOUT SPOTS/STRIPES AND HAS A MANE IS A LION!

Its quite strange when you get a friend request from someone you don't know, i either ignore them or start whispering to them and ask questions. :-\

On my new account, this has only happened twice, but my old account... Yesh, too, too many times. On this account, I want it look neat, so I don't really accept friend requests unless I've talked to that person for more than a little over an hour.
I just don't like my friend's list cluttering up until I don't see anyone anymore and risk my game possibly glitching horribly wrong (like, game-breaking glitches).
However, I do feel noticed and liked whenever I get friend requests, even if it is random or a mistake, and that helps slightly boost my self-esteem, I suppose. I just never accept them because, for all I know, they could be someone completely the opposite of what I find likeable in a person (personality wise, of course).

I get random friendies a lot too, not sure why. I usually get them when I'm sitting around quietly on a public map or sometimes I'll log in in-game and notice another request. I just ignore them though, until I actually get to know that person, then I'll accept them

This doesn't happen to me often. Usually I'll just be wandering around a map or sitting down and I might sometimes get a random friend request but I don't really mind them though.

I don't get friend requests very often at all. When I do, usually I reject 'em if I don't recognize the user or if the user is one I'd rather not get involved with. Though I believe most users have witnessed the whole scenario, "Oh! Random friend request?"

It happens on every social media. FB, twitter etc.. People want to just grow their list of friends even if they don't know half the people on there. It's sometimes just about ego and who's got the biggest list.
So, unless it's somebody I've already chatted to/gotten to know them/known them before already, I ignore as it can be annoying when people request without saying a thing.
I can be very friendly and will add just about anybody, but only if I know who you are! ;)

I to have 95 and counting ouo, I don't mind them, but why? We never talked.......oh well c: I only accept people I know

I get quite a-... Lot. Think I was up to 233 unapproved requests before the counter reset itself (will dig up a screenshot). It's often quite disconcerting-- especially when you've never spoken to the person. I generally don't accept them unless I've roleplayed or held a conversation with them; it's a terrifying moment when a yellow dot you barely know converges upon your group!

I honestly don't ever accept random friend requests. No offense,but IT'S JUST AS THE PIC ON THE FIRST POST SAYS. IT'S LITERALLY MY REACTION EVERY. TIME. o-o
I mean,I understand they may want friends... But like that,without even getting to know the person first? Not my style,sorry. :c
And I also don't accept because... Well,I'm extremely shy towards people so I don't ever whisper to them about the friend request they sent to me,unless I'm really forced to whisper them,so I usually just keep quiet after removing the request from my Requests box.
Meh,what must I say? It just frightens me. D:
