Title: Black Wolves - Problem :(
Post by: Cata on September 05, 2014, 09:13:01 pm
I don't know if I found anything similar to this but please, if you can help me, that would be awesome.

So, my wolves are black. Here is a screenshot: http://i62BannedImageSite/eisf7o.png (http://i62BannedImageSite/eisf7o.png)

Its not my felines, just my canines. I have tried shutting down, and I removed something I added in yesterday (and had a reason for it), and yet it did not work. I would like to know how to solve this. I have a preset on in the preset maker and that stuff, but, its not covered black.. I'm very confused and sad about this, I love feralheart. ;_;
I don't know what else to say, if theres anything I should say let me know. :(

Arr. Loss of textures mayhaps.
Try doin' the followin'. See if it'll fixate this problem.

1. Click here (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=44252.0).
2. Click on the link that says >>Click - Default FeralHeart Fur/Shade textures<<.
3. Download the .zip said link will give ye'.
4. Unzip/open the .zip file.
5. Copy the followin' files: cbodyShade.jpg, cheadShade.jpg, ctailShade.jpg
6. Place/paste the selected files in yer Local Disk (C:) > FeralHeart > Media > Textures folder.
7. Overwrite any duplicates.

Mind ye' that this will provide ye' with FeralHeart's default textures so if ye' possess another form of modified texture, ye' pretty much do the same steps only with that texture pack instead of the one I've provided.

I'm not 100% certain this will solve the problem.. but t'is worth the shot.

I'm sure I quick uninstall will fix the issue. Sometimes the files just go all wonky. If you do decide to reinstall the game, make sure you save all presets, maps, etc somewhere else so they're not deleted. Then go to the "downloads" section here and get a new installer. Not the patch or the torrent.

If you really do not want to reinstall, I'd recommend changing your game's rendering system using this tutorial: http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=43234.0 (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=43234.0)
