Title: Is it possible to speed up flight?

Just wondering. I don't think so, as I've seen others flying at normal speed

I tried, didn't work sadly.

Nope, not that I have ever seen. It's not In the game's programing, I do not believe. You can slow down by clicking either LShift or LCtrl, however I haven't seen a way to speed it up.

It has never been possible to speed up the flying motion within game. Though I think the size of your character make a small change of it. Idk.. :P -flings off into a black hole-
