Title: Different colored portals?

I was wondering, just an idea, but shouldn't we make it so that portals that lead to different maps can have their own different colors? I mean, if people can choose the color of their portals, or the way they look, this would make it easier for people who have downloaded custom maps and have forgotten which portal to go through, and want to see it from a distance.

Just some feedback.

well, although that would be cool (i'm not sure if it is already available/made), when you are in front of the portal the name of the next 'world' shows at the top of the screen. also, i'm not sure if it is possible (or really necessary) to change the color, but it is a very good idea. You are very creative Solid_Spy  :)

But anyway, yes I actually do like this idea. Very clever and a smart way to help some users. Really original idea. I've never thought of it that way before. There is ways to of course change the colors of ALL the portals at once with color MODS and such. But being able to decipher which map is which with portal colors is clever. Good thinking!

I love this idea. that way I don't have to run to all the portals to find out were they lead. I hope this can be added to the game.

I don't really see why we would need different colored portals. You can just walk up to one and it will tell you what map it will lead to at the top of the screen. I guess it would be a nice addition though...
