I've been seeing humans around since FeralHeart first came out, but the main thing I can spot is that their number is growing ever so slightly.
There are many types of characters that represent humans, but these are the most common;
Teenagers
Vampires
Cowboys/girls
Assassins
Half robotic characters
I have seen most of them on Bonfire , since it being the land for wierd, and 'special' roleplays.
My opinion on them is quite balanced since there's many other games for human roleplay but it's not aginst the rules to be human in FH. So I'm neutral.
How about you?

I'm fine with it. If floofs thinks it's unique to make an exotic bird rp, why not a human one? We are technically animals after all.
Though I could do without all the Jeff the Killer clones
-
I personally think that 'human' role-players are very creative when it comes to making a human based character. After all, it is extremely difficult to do that when FeralHeart is a Feline and Canine based game. Both models aren't anywhere close to a human anatomy. Also with the different use of humans, I find it quite interesting how they manage to make them, even with presets in some cases.
I see no problem with the whole human character based role-plays and sona's out there, I find them pretty interesting and creative in a sense.
-
Well, I have nothing against humans, though I prefer to keep away from them. I mean, there are quite a few other human roleplaying games, and Feralheart is focused more on animals, but hey. There's nothing against making humans in this game.
Also, some people get a bit stereotypical with their humans, and every single person is either a pitch black half demon or a teenager... or both.
Of course, it's just my preference. I'm perfectly fine with human roleplays unless they go all Rambo on us critters and try to shoot us with their fire-sticks, or "guns" as you humans call them.
-
I don't have anything against human role players, it's just not my cup of tea, per say. Mostly I'm just confused as to why people wish to play as humans on one of the only animal-based 3D MMORPGs around. You gotta admire their dedication when it comes to character designs though.
-
I personally like Bonfiran human rps quite a bit, since you can test out OCs or other characters that aren't animals there. I mean, a shut-in girl who lives in a fantasy kingdon doesn't usually don't have them able to talk with wolves or that sort of thing. Also, it lets players with canon characters from unheard of fandoms--
coughcoughNerukecoughchoke
-- to be able to rp as well, even if it is with random humans. Usually wolves in Bonfire outright ignore posts from nonwolves or whoever and whatever isn't their current mate/pups/pack so yeah.

Humans in feral-heart? Hm...I don't think that would be great idea...well, it would be nice but...it wouldn't necessarily fit correctly. It just not made for the game - maybe Wolfquest, yes, but not FH.
But if you think it this way, maybe it would be good to use in special occasions?

That's what the topic is about, players are creating canine characters that apparantly are 'humans'.

I guess so.

Personally I think it's great. There's dragons, birds, etc... so why not humans? I haven't made a human character per say, but I have 4 out of 5 characters based off human/humanoid characters. Only one of them actually has a preset that shows human clothes on, but I think it's perfectly fine to have such roleplays.
Besides, we splash a bit of human qualities in every roleplay (except the most realistic ones), for example: animals talking, thinking in languages/like us, wearing clothing articles like glasses, scarves or necklaces etc..., having humanized feelings like desire for revenge and names.
In short, I support and enjoy seeing human roleplays both in Bonfire and out.
-
Aye, I have to agree with Lovino.
It takes a certain amount of creativity and imagination to create a human out of a canine model, and I love that about human roleplayers.
I think it puts a good shake up on the game, showing that you don't have to be restricted to two species.
While I, personally, don't enjoy RPing as a human (because, well, I'm a human. I do it daily.), I do admire those few human roleplayers who certainly expand the horizon of the game.

I agree there too. As Jim stated, most of the commenters don't enjoy RPing as humans because we are one of them all the time, however we're not saying that RPing humans is bad. It's good to see humans ingame because making a human is quite hard, I agree.

That too is a good reason to have humans ingame and it does indeed take handfulls of time to make and plan out what the character is like, what they wear, their story ect.
However there is a slightly negative part to this. Not saying that humans are litter, because they're not.
But because there are other roleplaying games with a lot more humanized features. c:

I really have nothing against humans roleplaying or players as humans on Feral Heart, yet I'd rather not roleplay as one myself. I think they look like pigs in my opinion :U. I guess they're okay, yet they could be really fun to roleplay with too :D.
-
I think seeing humans in FH is pretty cool. I don't really mind them, though. Some of them are creative, some of them are not. (Cough, chimera markings, cough.) All in all, it's great seeing people use the models in a creative way.
-
I personally don't have much an opinion on them; if floofs wish to roleplay a human, let them
-
I personally love them, but then again... I'm just hanging around in Party chat, never EVER going into Local, and the ones I'm with are amazing roleplayers with a great plot.. Filled with vodka, swearing and aliens..
I think it's a great thing to escape from all the animal nonsense and enter the world you live in, just with something better. All it takes is a good idea, and good friends.
-
I have a lot of human characters myself (though, they may not look "human", they have the first and last name out and ready). More than half of my characters are humans. I have nothing against the human role-plays in Bonfire, Fluorite, etc., as there are varying degrees of what the humans look like (mine look like average wolves, or have "abnormal" markings/colors, etc. - as do a lot of my friends).

Aye. Nice topic. Haha. I guess some of them can be pretty fun/interesting. Depends.
They have to be pretty creative with markings and character development, though.
I don't do it much, but when I do, it's pretty different.
-
Personally, I don't mind them, I just wouldn't be one myself. People can do whatever they wish as long as it isn't offensive and against the rules. Besides, I give props to those whom can make a good looking human character, considering how neither of the models are even remotely similar to humans.
-
If it's aesthetically pleasing I don't really care what people role play however I do have a issue with making a flesh coloured character slapping a chimera marking in some clothes colour on it and calling that done, I'm sure that under the right circumstances it could look good it's just the majority of these that I've seen look... I suppose I could say out of place but unpleasant is a better word. Though I suppose that as long as they leave me to do my thing and they do theirs we're fine.
-
Welp most of my characters are actually humans from my fandoms but...they don't look human unless one sees the presets I made...
I don't really like most of those in bonfire tho, there are a lot of powerplaying humans too and its just weird they mostly only wear the chimera marking that looks like a shirt so...kinda pantless...that could be done with more effort (or how to spell it) So yeah as long as they dont spam, troll and powerplay im ok with humans and actually every species in FH.
-
I second that, personally, I don't think the pink fur+chimera 2 markings setup works all that well. It sort of makes it look like the character forgot to put on their pants.
That being said, I don't really mind the humans, so long as try don't walk up and randomly shoot me with a gun. ... and yes, that has happened before. My Cheetah character also had someone try to kill him with a sword, but I think I'm getting off topic now.
If anything, I think it's great people have the creativity in the game to expand past making just canines and felines. That's how we got birds, crocodiles, dragons, and all those good things. Though I'll still mostly stay out of their way, since human roleplaying isn't really my thing.
-
I don't really mind if people roleplay as humans, I think it's kinda awesome and interesting.
But I would never roleplay as a human xD That's just not my thing. And idk why but I think they're growing because it's gonna be the " new thing " xD Ohmygod. Don't ask. Thanks, bye *goes to space*
