A small little question, but I was curious. If you were to post something on the forum, what color do you usually use? I am often too lazy to do so, but if I do I usually go with the color lemonchiffon (what I'm using now) or burlywood. If you are uncertain how to put colors in your post, before your text put [ color=COLORHERE ] and at the end of the text put [ /color ]. (Without the spaces)
So, what color do you use when posting, if any? Or, are there any other things you do, such as font size or italics?

I always use Times New Roman as the font and Tan as the color.
I honestly don't really know why I use tan for everything- even most of my characters are colored some shade of brown. It just draws me to it for some reason. I like the natural look.
I use Times New Roman because I like the classy appearance of it. X3
-
I normally use #afbfc3 with no font anymore, since it's a bright, simple blue-ish grey. I discovered this color after playing around with a tutorial (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=46135.0) I had made not to long ago about colors. I also like using centered text since I feel it simply looks nicer than other styles of text available, however I'll also use the default left aligned text too. Previously, I used New Times Roman and the color "teal" for any of my posts, since I liked the sophisticated and elegant look of the font, and the pretty blue-green color that is teal. I decided to change my "style" after a while since I became bored, and I left it was time for a change. Way before that (about when I started posting on the forum and I was a derp lol) I used the forum's default color since I wasn't completely sure how the colors/alignments/etc worked, and how to implement them into my posts.
-
I always use the color white along with
the times new roman font
-
Deep sky Blue. I use it for everything ^^ It's just something about the bright shade of blue that I enjoy. The font is georgia, very neat looking. I just like how it looks, not entirley sure of how I came to enjoy it, but it's just kind of a relaxing color aye?

Maroon 'cause of blood.
Mmm, vein juice.
-
I'm usually to lazy to add color to my font but when I do I always go with beige because it's refreshingly bright but not as bright as white. It stands out against the black background too but matches well with the gold/black site theme. I often use the beige font in thread titles or to highlight a particular phrase etc.
-
Vespian uses the tan color in my posts, much like madam Jimmeh. I quite like it for it mimics the color of Vespian's fur- the wood of a puppet.
As for the font, I use Tw Cen MT. It used to be Times New Roman but the second I found this current one, I fell in love with the small letterin'. Vespian likes small text.
-
Uh, for posts, it's just regular, but if I am starting a thread, I tend to use white more often...maybe I should use it in posts from now on o3o
-
I normally use purple.
I don't know why, maybe just because it looks cool to me against the black background.
The centering text I use because it just makes posts look more organized to me, instead of like a run-on sentence.
I have thought about changing up my color scheme once or twice though.
-
I usually go with maroon, since it has a nice, sinister, yet classy feel to it. It blends nicely against the black background, but not too much as to make it hard to see.
I also go with the Times New Roman font, because it has that same sinister classiness to it and compliments the maroon nicely.
-
I never really thought so far as what font I should use, haha, but my font color is always lime green, with purple as my secondary if I need to make something stand out. Lime green and purple were two of the colors in my old OC's color scheme, and now it's just stuck. Now that I think of it, maybe it's time for a font change...
-
I'm trying to get in the habit of using this cream color, along with Courier New as my font. :)
-
Oh, green is my colour! c:
Team Green~
If not green, then probably beige. I love both.
-
My text is usually centered with the Arial font in a teal color, like so 8)
-
Hmmm. I normally try to find colors that match the season or just try to enjoy using blues. ^^
-
It depends, eighter Deepsky or teal, because I love blue <3
Other than that I only use center, but no fonts or anything.
-
I tend to use cyan, although I'm beginning to consider a more dimmer color.
It kind of blinds me a bit when the text appears too bright to properly read the words on the screen.
As for fonts, I typically stick to the default font because I'm a little lazy when typing it all out.
-
I have to admit that I don't particularly like the red or crimson colors, they're too dim and I usually have to select the text in order to read it. Well, my opinion I guess~
-
-
I use the strange, alien code #CEC4BA. It's the colour of my cats and generally easy to read against a black background.
If I'm honest, it's a slight struggle to read half the posts here. The fonts are often too small- and the colours far, far too dark to read without straining one's eyes. I find the default font's pretty much the only one I can read without issue-- and I can't read dark reds, dark greens, dark blues, dark browns etc. without highlighting the text. I'd recommend favouring legibility over 'style'!
-
I am usually in a hurry (Huh. Then why am I on the forum anyways?) or too lazy to fix my posts up with something nice, so I usually just stick to beige.
-
Violet, 'cause that's my lovely color^^
-
Gahh I really hate it when people use the dark colours, especially the blue one.
I stick for light colours too ^^ It just makes it easier to read. Usually silver.
-
I usually use teal with the letters sized up a bit, dunno why, I just think its nice looking. cx
-
I tend to simply use maroon as a substitute for burgundy.
-
Well I didn't know thats how you did it so thanks for that info. I want to try and do that when I am like saying something really long so it doesn't get boring XD
-
Mmm, I haven't thought of that before. I'm going to stop using maroon. You bring up a really good point, Crooky. I'm going to stick to a brighter color from now on. Makes things easier for everyone in my eyes. And, well, for their eyes too.
-
When I'm really happy, I use Yellow
When I'm just casual, I use Orange
When I'm sad, I use teal
Yes, I have colour moods. xD

XD nah thats cool I use pink just cause its the color of my favorite char on FH and her name I am using her name right now. I actually never thought about having mood colors though cool idea ;)
-
I used to be wholly devoted to using tan, simply because it was a common color amongst my characters and looked nice, but now a days, I use this green/blue/teal color ( #00fa9a ) because it's my favorite color, and a bit more unique than what I used to use. x3
-
I chose to use #ffcbe0, a light pink, because it goes with my preset in my signature and hopefully makes my text seem slightly more cheerful. *shrugs* I also use Arial font with bold, italics, and center. Five tags. Fun stuff. I just copy paste my custom font tags, unless I'm actually not lazy for once and decide to write it out.
-
I really like using purple :D Idk why but it just like, blends in :3
-
I usually leavee the default color, but if I did go around posting in colors I'd probably choose green. (Or maybe blue.)
-
I just go with chocolate, cuz who doesn't love chocolate?
-
oo, definitely this color & gray.
i feel like it's a pretty color scheme. ovo"
-
pink, mainly, but I like a lot of the colors so my posts can look like a rainbow!
-
I've noticed, people are mentioning a lot of colors that I don't see, but in the post preview they do turn up. What are all the possible colors?
-
I'm very indecisive when it comes to these things. I always alternate and like changing things up. But I usually stick with a light yellow color like this , or white. For font, I just keep it the default one. I sometimes keep its size the same if I'm lazy, and if not I make it 8pt like I have it at now. Then in general I have all of the text centered.
-
My go-to formatting is center, Times New Roman, font size eleven, beige. ^^
-
red
-
I normally post with white, but I might start posting with a less vivid shade.
-
Gainsboro.
SlateGrey.
Rather unusual mix if I do say so myself, but I'm quite out of the ordinary haha. Not normal at all! I absolutely adore using these colours, and that'll never change unless I go into a more aquatic themed set of colours.
-
Usually maroon now.
But it depends, sometimes tan or orange. cx
I also use the georgia font. ^^
-
There are a lot more colors I imagine. Glad to see there's a variety.
-
I'd probably start using Maroon, Brown, Red, or beige. :T
-
I don't usually add color to my text, but when I do, I make it lime green. There's just something about the color that I really like, but I'm not sure what it is.
-
I use a color called "Columbia Blue", and I suppose it goes with my icy theme, and isn't to painfully bright against the black background. Originally in my time here, I don't believe I used any color at all.
-
I normally use purple, blue, or teal for my text colors. I suppose it's because they are rather cool colors, & I just find them pretty. I favor blue mainly because my friend once told me I was a "very blue person", so I think I just kind of began to fancy blue the best. It reminds me of a baby blue sky, wind, fresh water... I don't know. I just find it very peaceful.
-
I usually use the normal default color and text. Too lazy to change it.
-
When im not too lazy i often use a blue color
-
I'm still newish to the forums and haven't really experimented with colors yet. I feel like it would be easier for me to stick with the default but if I am to change it, I think I'd go with the color you used in this thread TheGhostlyGoat. It makes better contrast with the background and is easier to read for me. 8)
-
To change the color Mischa just do this enter text here
-
I figured it out Wolfwaffles. Thanks!
-
No Problem
-
I use black sometimes
-
Fireboss that's evil xDD No one can see it!
Clearly my go-to color is teal, it's not as bright and painful to look at as the blue, but is just bright enough that it shows up clearly~

Hehe xD
Jk I like using purple
-
I generally keep the font and color the same, it's easier for me to read if I go back to it. I'm not really sure why it's easier for me to read, but I tend to have some issues reading certain shades of colors. Also, I don't really like to mess around with the color or anything because I have trouble enough typing with the fact my laptop tends to zoom in a lot or zoom out when I'm trying to type, so I try to type what I want to type as fast as I possibly can. xD
-
mine is probaly red :)
-
My go to colour is always simply green. It's my favourite colour and I've been using it to represent myself for longer than I can remember xD
-
I go for pink, I know some people have something against pink or have a disliking of the color pink but I honestly like it, no, not the hot pink or the intense pink, but the brighter, paler sorts. Other than very dark blue and seafoam green, the color pink suits me and my personality a lot. And in my opinion, it's not too striking, nor too faint, which makes it neutral and easy to read.
Font types? Ehh, not sure what the website would provide me with, I'd keep it Verdana for now.
-
My go-to colours are definitely white, grey, and green. But that switches up depending on what colour my signature and avatar is. I try to match up with those sometimes, if that makes sense.
-
It's always purple for me. Though I'd start to like to use Violet a lot more because its super pretty<3 Maybe I'll switch over soon c:
-
Right now I'm using the font Candara and a light blue color (#7DEFFA). I change the colors a lot. At first, I just used the standard color, then I used pink, then maroon and now this one.
I guess I change the color according to my avatar (and signature)... Who knows when will I change it again?
And for the font, I guess I'll keep it for a long time ;)
-
I always use Lime Green when ever I decide to use stuff like this, but normally I am too lazy to do so ^^
-
I use yellowgreen now since lemonchiffon kinda hurt my eyes, and I think this fits better with my avatar/signature now. I just use lemonchiffon for links and headers or anything that should stand out in a post.
I switch up my fonts, since I like to have a font that no one else is using so I can have a sorta uniqueness to my posts, I guess? I was using Candara for a small time, but now I think I'm switching to Corbel since I haven't seen anyone using it.
-
Colours have switched. Now using indigo & sometimes aqua. As for the font, still debating on it c;
-
Navy, not sure why, but I feel like it's special to me.
-
Right now, I use teal. It may change in the future as I get more used to forums and all the different things you can do to your messages. c:
-
I usually use Quick-Reply so my comments are often plain. However if I were to customise my typing it'd probably go along the lines of something like this. Which is the colour Cyan and the font Courier. cx
-
I would use green or purple. BUT, I'm too lazy too.
-
I prefer light blue or maybe darker blues
Honestly I just love blue ^^
