Hey guys,
I love FeralHeart and its community, but the problem is, after being in-game for a few minutes, I get bored and leave. The reason for this is that I feel there is nothing to do in here but walk around, chat, or roleplay. There isn't physically anything you can do in here like you can on Roblox and other games. I am that kind of person who prefers action over verbal roleplay. Many people say that roleplaying is what makes FH fun, but to me, roleplaying is a torture. First of all, I am a slow typer, and when I'm in the middle of writing a roleplay part, someone else says something that makes me have to completely change my part in order for the situation to make sense. Second, my typing speed combined with what other people say in the roleplay that I want to respond to pressure me to the point where I can't think of anything to say. Third, I am not a very good roleplayer overall. I just can't type out what I want to happen. Like I already said, I prefer action over words when it comes to roleplaying. I am not criticizing the game--FeralHeart is one of my top favorite games--but it's just that I feel that the gameplay doesn't work for me. If anyone can give me tips on how to enjoy FeralHeart properly, I would really appreciate that.
Thanks,
Blu

i enjoy the game by trying to mess with people. there's a lot of people at stone bridge so i go there and talk to people there. other times i explore and try to find someone to mess with. i don't go too far though obviously. idk, it's how i usually spend my time on the game.

There isn't any way to enjoy Feralheart 'properly'.
Really, however Feralheart is fun to you, is how you enjoy it. Whether it's roleplaying, making things for the game (maps, meshes, presets, etc.), just hanging out with friends, or exploring the maps. I don't really do much in-game when I'm on if none of my friends are on. Just try things out! If you want more action, try exploring or making your own maps. Feralheart really isn't an 'action' game, it is more a place to chat.

Theres always something to do in-game, whether it be role-playing or simply chatting. It's up to the user to decide what he/she wants to do.
Bonfire has alot of fan based role-plays, along with the variety of fun centers to partake in(not just mate center). Flourite is like rp central! Theres always something fun or exciting to find there. But, it's your choice on what you do in-game. Half the time i'm role-playing or simply doing something else while in-game.
Hope this advice is somewhat helpful, have fun love<3

But I can't roleplay well, as I said. I mean, I prefer to actually see something happen in-game as opposed to visualizing it. Like, I want more action like on Roblox. Also, there aren't a lot of people on FH who want to talk about the things I want to. Plus, getting around in the very large maps like Fluorite Plains are a pain for me. First of all, lag, and second, my characters move rather slowly, even when running. All of my characters have wings, and they can fly easily to a spot, but the flying speed is way too slow in my opinion. Like, think about it. Flying is faster than running, yes?

Not all role-players are alike, most will wait if you are posting. Have you tried one on one rp? The other person would wait for you to type without problem, or you can try to explain to the group at first that you type somewhat slow. It shouldn't matter how fast or slow you type. It should be the quality of the post that counts.
You lime pokemon yes? Theres ALOT of pokemon fans in this game that would love to chat with you, no doubt! Even if someone might not like the topic, you can always learn something new about someone by having a conversation.
Gettin around maps isn't a problem, we all have lag at some point, and yes it is a pain in the butt, but hey, it happens right? Having wings shouldn't be a problem either, depending on the size of character you have, that might depict the running speed, but it's still somewhat faster running in the game(fh logic!).
Sorry if my wording isnt well, useful..

well, there can't be more added to the game because the actual owner is unable to update it.
i'm going to be pretty blunt. if you want to play the game, you have to make an effort to do something as far as the game allows you to do. the advice that the other users are giving you are pretty useful, because it's all that you can do in this game as far as the game is updated right now.
if you can't make an effort to try to do something to spend time on the game, the door is right there.

Okay. Can someone give me advice how to roleplay better?

Just don't be stressed when roleplaying! And also, make sure you're in a roleplay that matches your interests and skill level. And as said before, make sure your roleplay partners know that you are a slow typer and such.
One tip I have is just roleplay at your own pace. If you're most comfortable roleplaying a sentence or two for example, don't try to roleplay 5 paragraphs. Just stay calm, and remember that roleplaying isn't for everyone. If you don't enjoy it, don't do it.
And as OhKelseyYou said, practice. I used to be a terrible roleplayer, then I slowly improved and my vocabulary grew as well.

If you're looking for something more 'Physical' to do, other than roleplaying or chatting, I don't think you'll find it here. I would honestly recommend finding an Impressive Title server for something like that, as you can hunt on those and stuff. I find that Dragon's Den is a pretty good one.
I also agree with Whisper when it comes to the roleplaying predicament. One on one roleplays can be a ton of fun! I''ve done it numerous times without disappointment. In fact, if you ever want to try one out, feel free to send me an in-game friend request. I'm fairly patient and I'd be willing to Rp with you if you wanted.
If you join a semi-literate roleplay group, I don't think they'll attack you for typing slowly, either. There's usually quite a few of those hanging around at stone bridge. I'm pretty sure most of them are just Wolf Packs, but I could be wrong. Heck, why don't you create your own group, with your own rules? Then you won't have to worry about stuff like that, and it'd be bound to keep you busy :3
-
Yeah...what I meant by the slow typing pressure thing was from a past experience from the Benevolent Wolf Pack...I think I should look for an easier group. And @Rizzla, I might join Dragon's Den someday. It looks fun!
-
the "benevolent" wolf pack was a horrible start. it's a horrible pack to begin with. don't listen to them, they have their heads in their behinds. >:U
-
Honestly I don't join huge roleplays. As said before, you should just try 1x1 or small group roleplays. I'm pretty patient when it comes to roleplaying, and I'm a multitasker anyways so I like having some time to check stuff haha
But don't let other roleplays discourage you! Some roleplays work out, some don't, some people are fun to rp with, some aren't. Just keep trying c:

I don't know...I personally don't take joy in role-playing as much anymore as I do when I run around with my friends in my Fluffy Floofs group. The way we enjoy it is always being in calls with one another, and just being a family. That and we find music to listen to, and enjoy ourselves.
Also I tend to enjoy running about helping others in the game who are new, and need a paw of assistance. So maybe try doing different things with your friends, and you guys can all find something fun and worth while to do on the game that you will like doing.

Let's avoid naming any specific packs here especially with negative context. Do not name shame them. This also seems more like a discussion topic. If you addressed this as a general thread then it would seem much more fitting in a discussion board. Moving this thread~

I agree with Sura on this one guys...do try to avoid naming groups..especially if something bad is said. It provides bad advertisement, rumors, and it's outright impolite to do.
-
However you feel like enjoying it. Join a beginner roleplaying group, that would help a lot with learning the basics of roleplaying without the pressure. Or just hang out somewhere and chat. I personally just come online every now and again to chat with friends, or try to find a decent roleplay.
-
But the problem is, I don't know what type of group to make specifically. If I make a Pokemon ORAS discussion group, I don't think it will be that popular. If I make a bird roleplay, I doubt it will even lift off. A random discussion group would probably be disorganized and not let me have my word. On top of that, I don't even know if you can delete groups; if I make a group that isn't successful, I won't be able to remove it and have to end up deleting one of my characters to get rid of it. I'm really jammed up, and out of ideas. I think one of you should try meeting me in game and train me to roleplay. I've never been a roleplay person, so improving my skills in that area would really make my day. That way, I can enjoy the game properly and maybe even start to like roleplaying games as much as I do action games.
-
Well it is possible to delete a group ^^ if that helps lol
And one thing that I can say is that...be random. Don't worry about the RPs if that isn't your thing. Make some random character and go to like...Bonfire in the middle of the day and just do whatever, make a funny group like a gummy bear group, join a random conversation, start a danceline, anything! My best memories on this game was when I did that kind of stuff. People around you love it, you'll have fun, and you'll be falling out of your seat laughing sometimes. Honestly, I don't go online much anymore, I'm becoming a forum person until I can get a break from life lol. And I am sure that a bird group will start, I have seen plenty. Just gotta get creative. As for Pokemon, though I am not skilled in that knowledge, just start asking around, make a char based off of it, if someone knows I am sure they will comment. :3 hope this helped!

Bonfire always has action, it's cray cray on weekends especially XD
Just go there and watch ppls talk, its what I do when im bored :P

If you really feel you need someone to teach you to roleplay, feel free to add me in-game and I can show you a bit. I'm not into roleplaying as much as I use to be, but I am still fairly good at it.
