Title: Feral City down?

UPDATE: I heard another person say they were having issues signing into Feral City, which ultimately means a lot of the content in my earlier post can be dismissed. (Advice to others: DON'T try and enter Feral City until this is fixed!) - here was my original post:

Sometimes when I enter Feral City I get the "Failed to connect to map server" error, sometimes I don't and I get in OK. The problem is, when I do get the error, the character seems to "get lost" - meaning even if I try the next day or on another computer - I keep getting the error and eventually have to delete the character and rebuild them.

My question is (since this is only an issue when entering Feral City), is there a way in all the text files, etc. to send a character back to home without signing into the server, so that I can reload the character in Lonely Cave and go around again?

The Character Reset changed a tad so the above link should direct ye to a more updated tutorial.

Thanks for all the help everyone - got my character back!

Will keep on trying getting into Feral City ... anyone else having issues with that map?
