Title: FH actually saved my life.

So this is something pretty serious...
Well, I have been here for some time now and I want to thank Kovu and all the staff for everything.
I also thank the community.
So, the deal is, I had been really depressed for 2 years and didn't have any motivation in life at all.
I had difficulties in sleeping and nearly every second day of those times ended with me crying alone in my room.
And no, before you even ask, I didn't do any kind of self harm so I'm okay!
So, one day, I was sitting in temple of dreams with someone I had just met on FH. We were just talking about drawing when suddenly she asked, could I show her my art. Well, I didn't have a deviantart yet, so I gave her my skype and I sent her one picture there. Just a normal day on the internet, right?
Not exactly.
Later on, we became friends. When we were talking about stuff we were scared of, I decided to tell her about my depression. Well, since that day, she has always been there for me no matter what, and we couldn't imagine a life without each other. Not much time after that, I got over my depression and everything has been fine since then. She's one of the very few people I know who appreciate me, and my biggest wish is to meet her some day. Like you probably already know, I live in Finland. She lives in Norway. She visits Finland every now and then, but hasn't ever had a chance of meeting her.
If everything goes as planned, I'll meet her next summer and I can't wait!
So thank you, THANK YOU SO MUCH FH.
Without this game I would have never met her!

Awww, that's a nice little story you had to share.

I'm sort of touched, that is so sweet of your friend to help you out like that.

That was amazing to read, and I am so happy to know that Feral Heart was able to do something like that for you. Everyone in this community tends to be very welcoming, and helpful to everyone here. You got really lucky to meet someone who could help change up your life some, and help you heal. I hope you continue to have an amazing time here like everyone else does. ^^

Oh my gosh. This was amazing to read <3 it sounds like you've really changed cause of your friend. I hope you are able to meet her, it'll be awesome! FH seems to be the happy place that a lot of people go to, glad to hear that it has helped in such a major way.

This is one special thread right here. It's amazing what an empact people can have on you, In a postive and sometimes negative way. But Mostly Positive. It's fascinating, how certain friendships or relationships and can have such an big movement in people's lives, and also sometimes change for the fate of someone they care for, or are fond of. Hope you met her someday, that will be some sight to see. 8)

This is a gorgeous story, hun, and I'm so happy that you were able to meet such a true friend here, as well as overcome your battle with depression. You're a very strong person, and I'm sure one day you guys will be able to finally meet one another, too. ^^

That's a really heart-warming story!
I'm glad to hear you were able to find that special friend through this community. Such good friends that help you through difficult times are worth treasuring forever. I hope one day we will know who that awesome individual is as well. In the meantime, I wish you the best of luck with your summer plans C;

[That's really, really good to hear ;w; This doesn't happen very often, so it's great that you've found someone special.
It's amazing how someone can cause such an amazing impact on your life.

I about cried. I am so happy to hear about you and your friend! Hoping you two get to meet each other as planned!
