Title: item issue

okay so I've downloaded items for feral heart and when I equip them in game, I don't see them.
I do have the .cfg files in the right place, is there anything that im missing?

Make sure the items.cfg file replaces the one in the  main Feralheart folder AND the Feralheart >> Media >> Items folder.

they are, but I cant see them

When putting an item on a character, you have to click the item and then click 'add'. If you are not doing this it will not show up. Also, some items don't show that well on particular characters. (For me chain collars on canines only show up if they are really, really skinny)

Are you using a Mac by any chance? If so, place the items.cfg into Feralheart\FHRoot and click replace instead of the main Feralheart folder. If you aren't using a Mac, then make sure you take a look at Echoz advice above. Good luck!  :)

I have the same issue with using ANY kind of texture, custom, marking. Anything, none of it shows up in my menu and very rarely can I see stuff on other people and it frustrates me to no end. I'm using a mac and I would very much like to use my custom (when it's done) I've followed all the instructions. When I look at the 'presets' in game it doesn't come up with any 'preset1' or anything. It's just blank (I can't log in and screenshot as I'm -coughs- in trouble)

yes, I've done all that.
but my computer is a windows 8.1 touchscreen, and I had the same problem on my windows vista.
is it just my user?
