Welcome to the official Umnedni Pride RP! The pride has started out being a group of four siblings with their mother on an adventure, but they are soon expanding into a larger range of relationships. The members so far of the pride include the following:
Marna, a 5 year old female. [Character belongs to Kerma]
Runo, a 31/2 year old male. [Character belongs to Rina]
Zidan, a 3 year old female. [Character belongs to Renochi]
Awiti, a 2 year old female. [Character belongs to Andrea]
Muren, a 11/2 year old male. [Character belongs to Solarfox6]
If you're looking to join this small-- but loving-- pride of lions and lionesses, please feel free to post a picture of your character and a short bio including their name, gender, age, and personality. A short description of their history is appreciated too, if you would like. Thank you, and have yourselves a good day. : )

Her name's Zidan, and she's around three years or so. I thought I should make her look sort of similar to Runo, because of family ties and stuff.

You're all added to the descriptions with credit towards your characters as your own creations, and now we can all be happy brothers and sisters together.
Now, NO MORE SIBLINGS. XD We need a mother and/or father for us all now. So, let's keep lookin' and no matter how long it takes, at least they all have each other. If you guys want, we could do a mini-RP on this forum so we can better get to know each others' characters a little more?

I'm cool with that *warning my rp is a little rusty so bear with me* :)
Awiti streched her slender legs out before her and yawned untill her whole body shivered, she then slowly stood up on the branch where she had been napping. She surveyed the area that she called home and hopped down onto the ground below, all was well and she was happy. She licked some dust from her pelt and the flopped down on the grass in the shade of her tree. she sighed loudly and closed her eyes again.

Zidan flicked her tail, the bushy bit at the end weighing down its tip. She'd been laying under this tree for about an hour now, but this was getting boring pretty fast. Plus, it was hot, and that made her more than a little irritable, so, still not willing to move from her spot, she watched a large patch of tall golden grass as it swayed when a slight breeze passed. The grass had fluffy tips to the highest points of each stalk, similar to her tail, and this gave her an idea. Normally she wouldn't resort to such childish methods of entertainment, but there was a first time for everything, right? Grabbing the bottoms of a few stalks of grass, she plucked them from the ground with ease, and stalked over to where her younger sister was laying. Crouching down a little, she began to tickle Awiti's face with the fluffy tips of the grass playfully.

Seeing his youngest sister in front of him, Runo makes minimal noise as he trots up to her now sleeping form. From what he had seen of her, she had woken up and then hopped down from the tree to do the same thing all over again. What a lazy cat she is, he thinks. Not even trying to conceal his sounds and movements, the lion brings himself to hang over her form while he stands over and provides a little shade. "You look comfy" he jokes. Looking over at his younger sister, he smirks at her before swatting her face lightly.
Taking his attentions away from the younger girls of his shared blood, Runo turns his head from left to right before he finally comes to ask, "have any of you seen Muren lately?"

Muren
The youngest of the siblings was running about, trying to climb a rather large tree, his creamy fur was getting covered in leaves and bark as he climbed a bit higher. He finally got to the spot he wanted, a branch near the top, and sat on it, looking down at his two older sisters and brother , who were under the tree next to the one he climbed. " .... " He grinned and wiggled his way to the edge of the branch and then jumps down on his unsuspecting prey. " rah! " he yelled out and tackled his sisters with a playful smirk.

Zidan shook her head slowly. "No, actually, I was beginning to wonder where he was. For all we know, he's probably climbing trees agai--"
She was cut off a a big, light-gold, furry mass landed ontop of her, and she, in turn, landed on Awiti. Who was still on the ground. What a great way to make a noise, Muren, she thought, irritated. Growling softly, she pushed her brother off of her back and got up off of poor Awiti, who seemed dazed. "Heey, why us? Why not Runo too?" she asked with mock hurt, but kept her eyes wide so that they would know she was still just being playful.

"I see--" he started but was soon cut off when a flash of gold resembling all four of them came smashing down from the trees and onto his younger siblings. Of course, it could have only been Muren and it was no surprise to Runo that he pulled something like this, but it still kick started Runo's heart from scared that he didn't know where his baby brother was so speed of light with shock. He could have been having a heart attack if he didn't know any better.
Runo then sat down and watched his sisters complain, "because he knows I'll sit on him." It was a simple answer with a few years experience under its belt, they just seemed to have forgotten that it could happen again.

Muren smiles lazily. " because. it would have been hard to tackle you ALL. " Snickers a bit and then sits up with a lazy yawn, then he lightly and playfully pushes on Runo's face with his paw. " And nu-uh you couldn't catch me to sit on me" The younger lion teased. He smiles and lays on the ground and rolls on his back looking up. " Its so boring.. " He grunts and pounces back up to go climb the tree again.
This time, half way up he slips and falls on his belly. " ow.. " He gets up, tail flicking back and forth a bit embarrassed he fell so easily.

"Good threat to make when you can't even climb a tree, baby bro" taunted the oldest sibling, smirking to himself and at the young brother of his. Yes, Muren was indeed the youngest of them all and he showed it very well. But then again, he was practically still a cub-- a kitten-- so he had some time left before his age would run off without him and he would have to catch up to being an adult sooner or later. It made Runo's face drop a tad when he thought about Muren growing up since he was the only cub out of the bunch left. He loved all of them equally, but Muren had to be one of the cutest there were.
Meanwhile his sisters were beautiful and maturing lionesses themselves-- he couldn't have been more proud to be their older brother. Sometimes though, he felt like he was a father to them as well. He sighed out and looked at his sisters, "we'd better go hunting, don't you think?"

Zidan let out a light chuckle. "Oh yeah, right. I remember that. I guess he's learnt not to mess with you, Runo," she said, smiling. Afterwards she just sat down and flicked her tail side to side again. After listening to Muren's responses, she flicked an ear. "Or not. And yes, it is a little boring, isn't it..."
For lack of any ideas for something better to do, she watched as her youngest sibling attempted to climb a tree again, but only attempting, because it seems like he failed halfway up and slid back down. "Heh, need more practice there, Muren?" she taunted, then stood up again. "Sure, that's definately more exciting than just sitting here and watching Muren forget how to climb trees," she stated nonchalantly, then sighed. "Unless we don't find any prey."

Muren made a mock glare at them. " I did not forget to climb, I just slipped. " he huffed, but when he heard the word hunt he bounded back over to his siblings. " Ohh what are we going to try 'n hunt? " He asked excitedly. He was now to excited to sit down and was walking around them and when he did finally sit down, his tail was flicking to and fro excitedly. " could we try and find something big to eat? I'm pretty hungry. " He looked at his siblings longingly.

Runo looked over to his siblings aside from the little male cub who was too excited to sit himself down for even a moment, "I don't see why we can't try and hunt something large". He was of course worried that his little brother wasn't going to be able to handle large prey like he would with smaller ones, but he was getting bigger and more experienced. Though Runo had the mind of male, and sought out his sisters' opinions as they were probably more maternal than he could ever hope to be.

Awiti still dizzy from her siblings mushing her, sat up slowly and smiled showing all of her teeth. She wasnt sure if she should be mad or happy that her nap was ruined by such wonderful family. "I am always willing to hunt, Runo count me in" awiti said excitedly. She stood up and got into a playful stance. "What kind of prey did you have in mind?" she said running in small cicles chasing what appeared to be the wind.

Muren grinned. " yes! something big! " He looked at Awiti as she asked Runo what prey they would go after. " Yeah what are we gonna hunt? " He smiled excitedly, his eyes wide with anxiousness and curiosity. He wondered about how exciting it was going to be to hunt something big for once. His tail flicked back and forth.

Awiti chuckled softly at how anxious Muren was to hunt. She rolled her eyes to her sisters direction playfully and pawwed at Zidan while Runo sat before them deep in thought. Still nervous about hunting, Awiti hid her true feelings with playfullness. I don't want to mess this hunt up she thought to herself. "perhaps we should start with something easier for Muren's sake she said to her siblings" kinda nervously *and for mine she thought*

Muren pouted as his sister suggested something easier for them. True it might have been the best choice, but the rowdy 1 and a half year old wanted to test his strength on something a bit more challenging. " Aww c'mon Awiti I'm not a baby. " he glanced at Zidan and Runo as well. " right? " He asked his other siblings to back him up, sure he was smaller than them but he was determined now to hunt something large. " Besides with ALL of us, how hard can it be? " he said with a smile.

He could sense the hesitation in his sister, and it was infectious-- too bad for Muren. They seemed to have been making him the leader of the decision and so he would take that on for future reference when he was leading a pride of them all together with possible new additions. That aside and the current situation at paw being his lack of confidence in his little brother and younger sister, Runo stood tall as he always did and thought it through. Muren wasn't too hard to distract if you gave him something to do, so if he were in the midst of the hunt he wouldn't be thinking about what he was hunting so much as he would be thinking about <u>how</u> to hunt it.
The oldest brother looked off into the distance to where a hunting ground was settled not too far away from here and he could see the outline of the shapes of some prey. Not taking his eyes off of them to look back down at his younger-- and shorter-- siblings, "how about an antelope?" Challenged Runo, smirking whilst he felt the drive and adrenaline coat through his blood and his body started to tingle with excitement.

Instantly Awiti's ears perked up in excitement, antelope were fast but easy to trick and with the brute strength of Runo and the combined speed of everyone else she knew they stood a great chance and Awiti would'nt make to much a fool of herself. Her eyes drifted off into the direction Runo was looking and the grazing antelope imediatly caught her attention aswell. As almost in a daze she murrmerd "an antelope is fine by me" her lips rose into a huge grin and she started to salivate lightly, licking her lips to refrain from completly drooling.
Awiti shivered with excitement with just the thought of a full belly, this was going to be a lot of fun. The first hunt as a family. Awiti then turned her head and stared at Runo she could tell her was even more ready for this than she was, he is going to make a great pride leader she smirked to herself and waited for Murens and Zidan's response.

Muren shot up prancing in place to 'warm up'. " sounds good, they are very fast! " He said and raked his claws into the ground thinking of the tender meat. He looked at Runo and Awiti, they seemed excited to hunt, he glanced at Zidan waiting for her answer a moment before walking in a small circle, couldn't hold still. His tail twitched to and fro' thinking of how fun it would be to hunt with the family. His belly rumbled just thinking about the meal and he smiled. " I bet we'll get the tastiest one. " he drooled.

Zidan nodded, seeing as she was the only one not to have said anything about the chosen prey yet. "An antelope would be fine for all of us together. Let's get moving, before they do," she said as she began to move forward. A light gust of wind picked up again, reminding her of something. "Remember to approach from downwind of them so they don't scent us if the wind happens to pick up again." Zidan reminded her siblings. She didn't need this to be ruined by the wind, of all things. She flicked her tail and began to move in the direction downwind to the grazing antelope herd.

Awiti pounced forward one long stride then began jogging crouched low to the ground. Her pelt blended in perfectly with the tall grass, no antelope would see her without it being to late. She looked back to see Muren and Runo beginning to catch up to her, the excitement was almost to much for her to handle. Her tail furiously flicked back and forth as she began to slow her pace and get within striking distance. SHe waited for her brothers and sister to let her know they were ready to attack.

Muren, out of excitement bounded his way half way towards the antelope, before realizing he might scare them away he pulled himself down on the ground, sneaking and snaking around the tall grass and resting in a pounce position down wind of the antelope. His shoulders hunched up, ready to pounce, chase, and claw at the tasty hoofed animals his tail twitched back and forth, and he could hardly hold is excitement and energy in.
The young male looked at his siblings, wondering who would give chase first, Perhaps Runo, or maybe Zidan. Or Awiti, she was fast.

Soundless as his personality to others outside his family, Runo walked on with the others and aided their hunting fever with his own but toned down due to the fact that he was still a little unsure of how they would fair with their little brother coming with them. Usually it was him and his two sisters who took care of the food, but this was a chance for him to show that he was beyond hunting bunnies and mice for his meals. He looked at his little brother and then his sisters. They seemed more prepared than he was, but soon enough when he saw the prancing prey, the adrenaline was stirred inside of him and he felt his tail swishing back and forth with his mouth open and panting for them to finally take action. He was a born killer being a large cat, but his instincts were always so peaked in the midst of attack mode that he could barely even muster up words to order his siblings.
"Pick one" he lightly ordered, raking his paws across the ground and not once letting his tail drop. Quickly, or I'm going to explode, he thought.

Awiti motioned with her head toward a older female antelope that was a little away from the rest of the antelope. She locked her eyes onto the antelope and slowly began creeping up to its side, still staying covered in the grass. Her nostrils flared as she breathed heavily but quietly. She made sure to stay downwind to prevent scaring her away. Once her siblings were sure of the chosen prey Awiti jumped in front of its path to scare it towards her siblings. She knew that even if Zidan or Muren coul'ntd help, Runo being as big as he was could wrestle it down by himsel long enough for everyone else to help hold it downf. The antelope was frightend by Awiti's pounce and imediately darted straight towards Muren Zidan and Runo. Awiti chased After dividing it from the rest of the herd and making sure her siblings wouldnt be trampled. The chase had begun.

The oldest brother jolted the way of the antelope with the full intention of killing it. Though he had more weight to him being the largest of the four he was as fast as any one of them-- but not the fastest. As Runo ran, it became apparent to the other antelope that there was a hunt going on, and just like flies in a house, they moved around in all different directions frantically and happy to know it was not their necks that were going to be four siblings' meal that day. The older female though, wasn't so lucky. With a large roar, Runo snapped at its feet to keep it going away from its herd to make sure it wasn't going back for reinforcement. "Muren, speed it up a little" he called back to his little brother who was wanting to make this his first larger kill no doubt. All Runo and his siblings could do was herd it for him.

Muren sprinted across the field weaving between the other antelope, he heard Runo yell for him to hurry it up, lunging he got on the older female antelope's back and biting at the back of its neck. He was trying to at least weaken it, knew he couldn't kill it in one go, blood was staining his muzzle and the young male was trying to hold on to the antelope with his claws, wrapped around the neck of the animal, he ripped at the back of its neck. Any words he tried to say were to mufled by the struggling antelope and the mouthful of fur.

Awitis face lit up in a brilliant glow, even if the antelope was still alive she was more than pleased with Muren. Her little brother looked like a natural out there and the realization that he was no longer a baby hit her. Her sprint slowly turned into a run as she was short of breath, but continued steering the herd of antelope away from thier meal. Once the herd realized it was to late for the older female, Awiti watched in amazment as Muren held onto the antelopes neck using every muscle in his body to his advantage. Runo still seemed on egde and Awiti could tell that he was just as proud of what thier family had just done. Awiti stood back and watched Muren wrestled the antelope to the ground.

Not once had Runo taken his watch off of the little brother of his still wrestling for the kill of their next meal, but the older female seemed like she had escaped far too many kills from inexperienced cubs to give up on this one. Muren looked as though he was struggling with this, and so the oldest brother took action. Not that he was attempting to be flashy, but darting ahead of the others and to where the young cub and old antelope flailed around helplessly, Runo took a leap into the air with claws drawn and teeth gleaming. "Muren, get down".
With that-- and the sure notice of his little brother ducking down-- Runo's claws swept across and raked the life out of the antelope's body. It fell limp to the day and close to the youngest sibling that looked like he was in deserving of a rest-- and good meal. Runo's body was steaming from sweat and work and he hung his head while his body stood firm, simply trying to ease himself down. It's done. You killed it. Nothing more to hunt, he thought while his mouth hung open, inhaling.

Muren had ducked as was told, and sat next to the antelope, his tongue lolled out of his mouth and he took in short but deep pants. " we di'it! " he said, the words half fell apart from talking with his tongue hanging out. He smiles at his brother and watched as Awiti came bounding over and slurping his tongue back to his mouth. " Look !" he shouted before huffing taking a breath. " We did it " he beamed with pride ( for him and his siblings ). He licked his chops trying to clean some of the blood from the animal away.

"Aww Muren I am more than proud of you" Awiti said and she ran to out of breath to her heavilty breathing baby brother. She nuzzled him before flopping down in the dirt and trying to stay cool under the hot sun. The smell of the antelope blew in her face and her stomach growled but she knew it was only fair for Muren and Runo to eat first being the males and the ones who did the hard work. Awiti looked at them longingly as if telling them that she didnt mind laying around before eating any of the prey. Even as the sun beated down on her pelt she could not stop smiling as she watched her brothers begin to eat thier catch. She knew that being the youngest female she would get the last turn of eating food but she was ok with that because her siblings would never let anything happen to her. She was loved and protected and that was all she needed in her life right now. Awiti dozed off into a light sleep listening to her siblings eating the antelope.

Muren's stomach growled and he could see his other siblings were hungry too, so, without really thinking, he bit down into the carcass of the antelope and filled his belly. he slopped over by Awiti and dozed a bit as well, he had a full stomach now and was tired from the hunt.

Runo blew his red made out of his eyes and walked over to his little pride. They were all crowded around the kill and were preparing to eat it, or so he would think. None had taken a bite yet and it was concerning to him. Were they just being nice? "Come on, you three. Eat" he told them as the oldest of the four and also out of concern for them. Giving a tired smile, he waited for someone to finally take a bite so they could all get over the shyness of being the first.

"Runo", Awiti said kind of concerned, "you boys know as well as I do that you both did the hard work." She looked at both her brothers. "Besides," she said jokingly " I can wait for awhile, you both look starved." Runo seemed a little shocked by her saying this, but Awiti smiled sweetly and layed her head down still looking at her brother. Why would Runo question the eating order? He must surely know that males eat first, even among her siblings Awiti knew if any others joined the pride that these rules would have to apply to everyone. Mine as well start now, she thought to herself. They both seemed nervopus about eating and catuious of how much they ate tryign to leave enough for both of thier sisters. They are too kind she thought. The smile never left her face.

Runo held his stance right where he was all along and listened to his sister. Though it might have worked that way in other prides of felines like themselves, he knew that she knew him better-- he believed in equality. And because of that, he looked around for their mother. "Where's mom? She'd be hungry by now, wouldn't she?"

The older female made her way through the tall grass and to her four cubs. Sure they might not be cubs any more, but they were her cubs anyway. Marna had watched the entire hunt and walked up to Muren, gently nuzzling him on the head. "Good job sweat heart," she whispered to him and looked up at Runo. "I'm right here Runo, don't worry about me." She stepped forward and looked at the prey. "An older female, well done. You should always take the older prey so you can make way for the next generation," she began to ecplain. Then she turned to Awiti. "In some prides that is the eating order, but in all good prides," Marna motioned toward Runo, "The ill eat first, then the cubs and elderly, then the stronger felines, and finally the hunters who made the kill." Marna gently licked the antelope, readying herself to eat. "The reason you hunt for a pride is to provide for the others. How can you do that if you eat the entire meal yourself?" The golden female began to slowly tug the meat away from the antelope. She only ate a little of the meat since she wasn't very hungry and left the rest for her children.

Not worry about his mother? To Runo, that was like saying don't run away from a hunter trying to kill him-- he was always going to worry about her, especially in her conditions. Though the praise wasn't directly to him fully, he felt a ping of satisfaction from the kind and encouraging words she took to them and their developed hunting habits. It was the least they could do; she was the one to hurt herself so many times when they were too young to hunt just to make sure they were all growing up. Thankfully with the arrival of their last sibling, there was no need for her to push herself to get Murren food as well. Of course, back then, it was only him who could hunt fully, while his sisters were still young themselves.
Runo furrowed his brows when he thought about himself being the head male of the five of them. Where was their father in all of this? Probably making his way off with some other lioness to fool her as well into thinking she was the only one and leave her in the end. The male raked his claws on the ground before he looked up at his mother. Marna certainly had the brute of the entire thing; she was raising four of them on her own and teaching them the ways of the lions. He didn't have a father, and neither did his brother and sisters, but she didn't have a mate or her best friend when she needed him most. A low rumble came from the oldest through his throat, and he swept under his mother's chin to greet her with a sad smile and yet still shaped happily upwards on his lips. "Where were you?" He questioned, thinking about how she had gone away from the moment they had woken up.
OOC: Sorry if we don't agree with the father thing; I kinda wanted to make an excuse for Marna not to have a mate, but maybe one in the future. Hope you're all okay with it :3

Awiti had a puzzled look on her face after her mother had spoken the words about the eating order to her. She picked herself up off the ground and shook lose all the dirt and debri which had clung to her fur as she napped. Small cluds of dust formed around her body as she shook her pelt almost completly clean, using her tounge to get anything else off that was bothering to her. After one long stretch Awiti headed over to the antelopes body and took huge bites hardly taking time to chew, thats when she heard Runo ask thier mother where she had been the past couple of hours. She immediatly stopped eating looked at thier mother in distress and confusion. Where had she been this whole time? Awiti's eyebrows raised in curiosity as she waited for thier moher to respond.
During this pause Awiti's mind started racing to the past and how thier mother had raised her and her siblings with no help at all. While thier mother Marna had taught them each important values and the basics of life, Awiti couldnt help but long for more. Runo had been the closest thing to a father figure she had all her life and this troubled her greatly. How could the pride expand if Runo declined being the dominant male, or even worse what if somone chalanged him and tried to take over this family pride. Awiti became troubled as these thoughts would not leave her mind.

Marna smiled at Runo. "I went for a short walk and watched the sun rise," she said gently. She nodded toward a rise not to far off. "It was the perfect place to watch the hunt." She sat down and took a deep breath. She wasn't an old lioness. In fact she was in her prime, but her heart problems and experiences had aged her greatly. She wanted to make sure she taught her children all she could before she left them for good. She knew she would be taken from them sooner then most mothers, and she had to make sure they knew how to survive.
Marna looked after the now gone herd of antelope. "Next time," she began, "take down the creature as quickly and painlessly as possible." She stood and moved over to Runo to use as a model for the others and himself. "It's only fair to kill the poor animals as quickly as possible since they are what sustain us. The best way to do that is to trick them. With all four of you, all you need to do is have two of you seperate the animal from the herd and herd it to another who will trip it up and the last makes the kill." Marna gently nudged Runo's throat. "Either break the neck or rip the airway. They kill almost instantly and make it a cleaner easier kill." She sat next to Awiti and nudged her, noticing she was concerned about something and trying to calm her.

Awiti forced a smile, these thoughts shouldnt be as concerning as her mothers health. She nuzzled thier mother and laid down at her side. The cool night air was a relief from the usualy scortching sun and her fur felt good as a breeze came and hit her from every direction. Awiti Sighed and looked over her family mebers one by one. Runo looked concerned but content and his muscular body always seemed tense. Thier mother and her sandy pelt with muddy patches made her nearly invisible and in her prime and healthy days she must of been a great hunter. Little Muren whose mane already was coming in thick and beautiful just like Runo's. Then Awiti looked lastly at her sister who was growing more mature each day and surely she would have a mate without looking to hard.
Awiti then puzzled herself by trying to find her own defining qualities. Self concious? Is that all that I am Awiti asked herself. I need to make myself known she smirked but in the dark she hoped no one saw it. She then laid her head on her paws and looked up at the night sky listening to the sounds of the night.
OOC: Do you guys have any interest in making a actual pride rp? We could take in outsiders or let in our mates if anyone has/or gets one . =P let me know what you all think ^^

Runo nodded his head and smiled briefly before walking past his mother and laying down next to Awiti. She seemed troubled, so he could possibly offer her some kind of comfort if she so chose to confide in him with her personal issues. The night was fast approaching them and they were probably getting tired.

OOC: But please, if we're going to give this pride a name, we're going to have to give it something not-so dramatic. There is too much usage of 'Twilight' or 'Black'...sometimes combined. Urks me. But, what do you guys think? I'd make the thread obviously in the packs forum, but yes, we'd need a name. I was thinking maybe a word or two in another language (African, ect.) that mean something-- not many times do we have prides who focus their names on other languages. What do you guys think?

well the cubs are almost ready to hunt and well somo may or may not become his mate and for the rest as in his father mother etc all except his sister ari are dead and if you need a picture do to deviantart and type in korvo and theres a picture of him called korvo the fallen and all his other family members. well he killed his brother and father long story ill shorten it kir his father killed mai his mother korvo fought his father and was banished but korvo took ari and raised her alone korvo and ari split up but a few days after his mate and cub eve were killed by kir and kov and well one day kov found him and told the location of their father korvo went and fought with kov and kir for the last time kir fell of a cliff and refused help kov was just injured but he still found him again but this time kov ran into a lake with alligators

I don't think this was his intention, but the way he described his character's past/history was kind of...difficult for me to read because it went from one thing to the next. ok so here we go its really long... 3 years ago a small cub was born and named korvo with a mane and body like his father he soon began to grow a close relationship with his mother and older brother kov since his father never played with him a year later korvo became the middle child when his sister ari was born that year korvo land kov learned to hunt together since his mother mai had to nurse ari and his father had no good hunting experience kov and korvo soon became best freinds and amazing hunters being able to take down baby giraffe by two a few days after kov's third birthday kov korvo and ari were playing outside their pride but they didnt know kir their father and mai were arguing and kir finnaly had enough and hit her mai screamed and korvo ran back and saw mai on the ground and kir looking at her with his red eyes korvo tackled him and roared so that his mother could get up kir being 3 years older slammed korvo off and continued hitting his mother korvo growled at his father kir turned and hit korvo by that time ari and kov had been back kir then demanded that kov fight korvo and seeing as how kov and kir were closer he fought with korvo but lost korvo then tackled him again and growled but reaptedly batted him but by this time mai was dead later that day kir made a desicion to bansih korvo for double crossing him but knowing ari was too young he made his father banish her too and for that half year korvo raiseded ari himself and they split up ari's 2 birthday when korov was two and a half though he met a female named akira and they got to know each other very well and had a cub named eve who was born in a oasis that kir showed korvo as a cub but korvo lived a nightmare when kir,kov,and new pride females attacked them only managing to kill 3 of the enemies they sadly killed eve and akira when korvo turned three he then made a vow to seek revenge on kir and kov for what they did and a few days after he met a newand his freind kiro who had a little fight over awiti kov seeked korvo out and escorted him to the oasis where kir was after a brutal fight he left kov injured and tried to help kir but didnt who fell off a cliff he was going back to awiti when he found to orphaned cubs who parents were killed by kov and kir he couldnt help but remember eve and helped the cubs by providing a den and food alos shelter with him and awiti awiti didnt find out until that morning when korvo sat upon a rock and seeing the two cubs crawling around korvo she thought korvo had gotten a new mate and had cubs realizing awiti was up korvo turned and saw her running away he then wanting to explain tackled awiti and tried to explain and when the two cubs caught up they layed on awiti's foot and called her their mother awiti knowing she had a choice to make to stay with korvo and help raise the cubs or leave them leining down and telling the cubs "no" they looked at her and korvo gathered them up and left which is when he met his new mate somo who past was like his and that day kov came back and tried to kill korvo and somo but was chased to a alligator pond and a day after ari and him reunited and ari while korvo was hunting talked to somo about korvo badly with that somo attacked her and korvo came back and tackled somo not knowing what was happening that night he told ari to leave and he talked to somo and they forgave each other and that is korvo'a story

Awiti woke and stretched her legs looking at her older brother and mother who had crowded around her while they were resting. The sun was high overhead and the savanah's grass moved like waves when the wind blew. She looked her family over once before taking a short walk to a nearby watering hole. SHe sunk low to the ground and began drinkning, when she lifted her head her eyes met with a large males who she had never seen before, she began shaking nervously and turned and darted off towards her sleeping family. She was paniced and with every movment you could tell that she was. Her paws fell sloppily on the ground as she reached her family. "wake up mom,Runo muren Zidan" Awiti's eyes turned behind her to see if the male had followed.

Baba had followed the scent of water, after a few days travelling alone, searching for who knows what. His view of the watering hole was blocked, and the breeze had changed direction, blowing both of their scents away. He stepped through bushes, coming face to face with a young lioness. Baba was about to speak when she ran off, most likely to go to the rest of her family. He sighed, feeling sorry that he had scared her like that. He moved after her, not running, just a quick walk. If he ran after her he would look like he was chasing her, when he was simply following her back. he was going to apologise, and perhaps ask if he could stick with them for a day or so while he rested. He soon spoted the young female and her family, walking up slowly to them, stopping a distance away.
"I just wanted to apologise for scaring you. I didn't mean to frighten you like that."

Runo's head bobbed up sleepily when he heard his name being called. He could only assume it was from his family as there was only his mother, brother, and one sister there. Where was Awiti? He didn't take a moment to hesitate and call out her name, when he finally caught onto her scent being near the water. But he found her running back to the rest of them in a hurried manner, signalling the presence of someone-- someone not of their pride or blood.
Not only was there one, but two unfamiliar smells crowding around his nose. And his sister was fear stricken. That could only mean something had happened but he wasn't about to let these strange males know that he was one to be trifled with. Spotting the first male-- of strange colors he noticed-- Runo's eyes narrowed and his legs charged forward his weight to the first male, knocking into him. Now that the male was knocked over, the lion took a dominant stance in front of his younger sister and made his presence of protective brother apparent with a loud roar and his tail flying back and forth. To the next male, he snarled and his eyes were harsh.
He looked at them both while he protected Awiti, "get out of my territory". An order more than a comment.

"ouch!" korvo groaned "who are you and why did you tackle me i was trying to protect her jeesh we are freinds ask awiti yourself." With that korvo got up and stood his ground and showed a few teeth and made himself look big.

Awiti tilted her head awkwardly. "Korvo?" she asked aloud and was suddenly less fearful as she peeked around her brothers form to see the lion she once knew. The other male made her cautious but her heart beat slowed down. She eased around Runo to get a better look at the males and knew that she was protected. "What brings you here?" she said in a confused voice looking at Korvo but still defensive.

not loosing his serious face korvo replied " i saw that male chasing you and i came after you to help if there was a problem." korvo looked back an saw the male getting closer he looked at the male who had tackled him and told him "we need to move now."

Baba stepped back as the male tackled the other male that had shown up, keeping his distance. Listening, he felt offended as he was accused of chasing the female.
"I wasn't chasing her, if I was really chasing her, I would have been running. I was simply trying to apologise for scaring her like I had, I hadn't realised she was there and almost walked into her, and she ran off. And i hate getting off on the wrong paw."
Baba gave the brother of the female a curt nod of his maned head.
"I'm truly sorry to you for intruding, and to your sister for scaring her like I did."

Awiti smiled at the strange male, from how close he was now she could see his odd colored markings and his large frame. She took a step to her side and stood next to Runo who still seemed to be in a defensive stance. "It's alright Mister" she said to the stranger "I just have not seen any other males is this area before, so you startled me." Awiti giggled a little and introduced herself, "I am Awiti" she said with a large dumb looking smile on her face, "and this is Runo, my older brother."
After the introductions Awiti heard Korvo mentioning leaving, Awiti became quiet and almost in a whispered said to Runo "He can stay for the night right Runo?" Her eyes shifted from the stranger to Korvo then to the ground in front of her while asking the question waiting for her brother to be angry with her childish question.

Runo glared at the new male that had come, and the worst part is he seemed to think that since he knew his younger sister that he instantly had an 'in'. Who did this guy think he was? With a snarl matching and over the young male friend of Awiti's he advanced a little further for an attack but stopped when the question was popped. As much as he hated this guy already...he loved his sister more to make up for the dislike. So to her childish question all he did was simply turn his body away and walk back to where they were all nested. "Ask mom," he looked at the larger male to match his own size with the softer approach, "don't think you'll be so lucky" he hissed. With that he walked away.
Coming up to the rest of them, his young brother and young sister being asleep still, as well as his mother, he strode past them lazily. His head was hung and his paws were freely swaying while he strut away from them all, barely even standing the scent of the two males in the territory. "We've got company" he said to his lack of audience. Finally, not having any more reason to stick around, he made his way over to the large tree they were all perched in yesterday afternoon and climbed up, resting his body along the thickest branch, his features still showing annoyance.

" hay hay! who are those guys" his His ears went all flat, getting a sort of half pout and half growl. The young lion sat down in a huff. " And why arnt we chasing them off ? "

korvo turned when he heard runo snarl and korvo stepped to him and said "im guessing your the leader here huh.?" he then gave a smile "i'll show complete respect if you do the same for me" he sat in front of runo and waited to see what he would do next in korvo's head he felt odd.he then mentioned that he would leave by midnight so that he wouldnt over stay his unwelcomed stay.

Runo kept his temper mild and ignored the first comment made to him by the male, but when it overstepped its own boundaries, he knew he was going to have to stop it. "No you'll show respect for me and take it or leave" he replied. With hardly any more patience, Runo's shoulder found its way to bump harshly on Korvo's shoulder. He walked forward while looking over his shoulder, "welcome to my territory".

Muren grinned when Runo showed the new comer whats-what and walked over too, but still keeping a bit of a distance, he glanced at the larger, older new male, wondering if either of the males wanted to challenge Runo for control of the territory. He gulped, Muren didn't doubt Runo's strength, but what if the other males won? He made a sort of glare at the two males, still keeping his distance, the young male wary of strangers. Compared to his usual happy-go-lucky nature, this attitude really stood out.

"im not really here to fight or anything i was just concernded for an freind and wantend to see what was going on and i hope we can be freinds." he sat up hoping the male wouldnt be mad at him as well. "oh and tell runo im really sorry that we got off on the wrong paw and i apologize for that."

Awiti sat in complete silence looking at the ground. She was embarassed. Wasnt this what they wanted, a larger pride to hunt easier and expand the land? Awiti still sitting looked over her shoulder to Runo who made silent threats to these new comers. Then little Muren stepped into the argument. PLease don't fight she thought to herself looking back down at the ground, trying to hide her face from everyone. She walked quietly over to Runo, nuzzled him and laid down in the shade with her head on her paws and looking at Runo with sad eyes. SHe had'nt wanted to upset anyone but obviously she had done just that.

Baba kept his distance from the other lions. It was obvious to him the male was being a bit more than just a little upset about the idea of the two of them being in the territory, despite the other male, Korvo, actually knowing one of them. And if he was cating like this to someone one of his family knew, then there wasn't going to be a good reaction when it came to him.
But of course, Baba wasn't just going to keep his distance forever. He took steps towards them, sitting himself down not far from them.
"I know I have no right to anything from this land, but I would like to stay for the night, in return for perhaps helping with a hunt. My size makes it easier to get bigger kills, and I am in need of a place to rest for the night."

hmm korvo thought about what he needed to do before dusk the next day but he couldnt remember he just kinda sat there and waited for the moment he could be comfortable without feeling unwanted

Awiti felt sick, everything about this greeting had gone wrong and Runo, being as stubborn as he was, did not look like he was going to welcome anyone with any kindness, not even a female. Awiti still laying on the ground suddenly felt Korvo's presence near here. Her heart jumped and she moved away quickly hoping Runo would not become protective of her. "sorry," she whispered to Korvo as she left where she was lying down, but Awiti did not want a fight, between her brother and friend. The tenseness in the air was suffocating her, she had to leave and head to get another drink her mouth had gone dry when her heart sped up.

Awiti did not respond to Korvo's statement but instead motioned him towards a nearby watering hole so they could talk. She trotted quickly and nodded at Baba who had laid down a good distance from everyone else.
Once reaching the waters edge Awiti turned to Korvo who had followed her rather reluctantly and nuzzled him. "I havent seen you in a long time Korvo" she said sitting down. "Sorry about my brothers, they tend to be rather defensive at times." Awiti looked past Korvo into the grass to see if anyone had followed. "Just give him some time to adjust, he's not used to other males." With this she waked back to the clearing in the grass and laid down by Runo who still seemed upset with her childish ways.

"i can tell that" he said but i mean this pride i apologize is rather small" korvo felt very odd talking with awiti the female he thought would never meet him again then he heard a rustle in the grass and a baboon tackled him laughing. "ZIRO!" he roared whats wrong with you sitting on top of his head ziro introduced himself to awiti korvo then said "awiti this is ziro my freind probably the only one that i get along with thats a baboon weve been freinds since i was 7 months old"

Awiti's eyes grew wide as she saw the baboon, "just don't bring him back home or he will be breakfast." Awiti kept a serious look on her face while saying this, it simply was the truth, Runo had that look on his face that Awiti knew all to well from growing up with him. If anything were to go bad over the next few hours before Korvo decided to leave, Runo would take his life. She hurried back to the clearing before anyone would notice how long they had been gone, "hurry Korvo" awiti said in a low whisper " or they will think we are up to no good."
Once returning back Awiti sat near Baba and began asking quesion after question to him. He appeared to be alone and Awiti was puzzled as to how he could survive ans hunt on his own. "Do you have a pride mister," Awiti asked trying to find out this strangers past without prying to much. Before Baba could even answer Awiti had rattled off many more quesitons including "do you have a den nearby or are you lost? Have you always been alone?" She stared at Baba waiting for his repsonse.

Baba tried to answer her questions as well as he could, but sometimes he didn';t have time to answer before she moved on to the next question.
"No, I don't have a pride. I'm a wanderer, I travel all over the place, so I don't settle down and stay in one place too much. Sometimes I'll find a pride that'll let me hang around for a day or so, but a lot react pretty bad to me wandering into their territory."

Awiti's face lit up when Baba talked about being a wanderer free to go anywhere he pleased. She smiled at him and got up to walk back over and speak with Korvo. Her eyes opened wide when Korvo asked her to leave but she quickly said "no" kind of loudly to him. She raised her head to look and see if Runo had heard her outcry. Although she had not meant it to sound forceful it did and she feared that Korvo or Runo would get the wrong idea. "Sorry Korvo" she said in a whisper "but I can not leave my family, and it sounds like you have your own waiting for you." She turned to walk away and laid down by her mother and sister

"yeah i understand" korvo layed down and his ears perked up he heard laughter "hyenas" "HYENAS awiti shouldnt we tell everyone." he sniffed the air "theres at least 50 of them!" he growled a little then ran towards the hyenas that were in sight 10 hyenas piled on korvo while roaring he was trying to derect all attention towards him so that they wouldnt harm anyone else he slashed and bit 11 and the others finnaly brought him down he layed there injured they started running towards awiti baba and everyone else he closed his eyes and couldnt watch if the hyenas got the upper hand on them

The scent of hyenas wasn't an unfamiliar one to Runo as the male perked his head up and looked over the surroundings. There were hyenas indeed-- and they were coming for his family! With a swift jump out of the tree, Runo's body trembled the ground under him slightly while he rushed forward to charge them off. For most of them staying, there was a few of them that backed out and ran off past the rest of the felines, but the persistant ones latched onto his back and started to dig their claws and jaws into his flesh. Runo's throat let out a frustrated roar but he launched forward, rolling onto his back while in midair and causing his 450 pound body to slam onto the ground with the hyenas breaking him free of the grapple they had on him.
He wasn't as concerned about himself as he was his family, looking around frantically over the attacking mutts to see how his siblings and mother were fairing. Knowing full well that Muren was the weakest link of the pride, he moved through the herds of dogs and over to his little brother. Hiding the tanned body under his own, Runo's teeth did the talking for him while a few low growls seeped through his fangs baring themselves clearly.

Muren got lost in the mess of violence and chaos that was the Hyena attack, and finally came to grip with his surroundings as Runo covered his body with his own. " Runo what are you doing?!" he panicked, Runo had been bitten into by the mutts. " I can take care of myself! " The young lion protested under his older brother, what if because of him, Runo couldn't defend himself properly? He thought, then something worse came to his mind, " what About mom?! " he yelled and tried to spot her among the mass of Hyena bodies. What if her heart problems acted up? Muren shook with terror, he couldn't lose anyone, Murens body streaked out from under Runo's, he wasn't strong but he was fast. It was a horribly stupid move of him to make though, he was now attracting some attention as he dashed through the field to see if his mother was okay, and had a few Hyenas tailing him.

Baba knew how to handle hyena's, he'd had his share of fights over a carcass or a good sleeping spot. And then there were the ones that just liked to cause trouble, like the large group that had decided to pick a fight now. Baba used his size and weight to his advantage, jaws and claws snapping and lashing out at any Hyena that got too close for comfort.
Baba spotted the young male run from the fight, heading off in another direction, unfortuantly attracting the attention of a few hyena's as he fled. Baba chased after. He couldn't waste time, the others were back with the majority, and Baba knew they would need all the help he could get. He simply drew their attention away with a few attacks, drawing them back to the fray by snapping at any that would try to follow the young male instead of react to his baiting. When finally he had the hyena's that had been following the young male chasing after him he threw himself into the fight, big body barging through as he snapped and growled, chasing a few away from the injured Korvo.
Baba had been distracted with is front as three of the hyena's baited him, snarling as he felt the fangs of one of the hyena's sink into his hind legs. He spun, jaws reaching out as he pulled the hyena from his leg, turning to the ones in front of him, reminding himself to watch his rear.

Awiti had been nearly asleep when the chaos began. She opened her eyes and blinked numerous times untill her vision was clear enough to see the large pack of hyenas fighting with Baba Korvo and Runo. SHe rose to her feet and stood in front of her mother and sister who had not yet heard the hyenas. Awiti watched in horror as Korvo Runo and Baba all were being bitten and scratched by these filthy mutts. Awiti's jaw dropped and she let out a roar to draw some away, she did not dare leave her mothers side because of her weak heart but instead prayed that any one would help her. As the lower tones of her roar left her mouth and traveled at the hyenas, Muren had begun rushing toward her, he must have been concerend about mother aswell because Runo had been protecting him using his own body to stand over Muren.
Awiti smiled and Muren and let her claws stratch at the earth waiting for a hyena to come thier way. Her head was hung low to the ground but her eyes stared directly in front her of, she was shaking and nervous but she was ready to fight to the death in order to save her mother and siblings. A few hyenas had heard her and stopped attacking Runo and Baba to come fight these smaller lions. Awiti tensed her body and swatted at the hyenas muzzles with her claws out and teeth barring. She lungded at one, as if play fighting and tackled him to the ground biting at his its head and back hoping it would simply leave after being hurt.
Awiti did not expect this creature to whine and cry like it was-- she released it from her grasp and watched it run back the way it had come. The next thing she knew she was on the ground with her vision fading and little Muren was fighting off hyenas--alone.

Muren saw Awiti collapse and he leaped over a hyena to get to her, Zidan and his mother, all three out of it, he stood a bit over them and bashed and snarled at the hyenas, clawing and biting them, one nabbed his shoulder and he bit into it's neck. ' I wont let them hurt them. ' he thought and bit down harder, closing his eyes, he clawed at the hyena and it finally pulled away and ran off like the one Awiti had injured. Breathing a bit hard he continued to try and protect the downed Awiti and his other family. His shoulder was bleeding but he ignored the sting, licking hyena blood from his muzzle, he didn't know how long he could keep up a fight, but he didn't want to think about that, he scratched a hyena in the face and growled, another bit his back and he yelped.

Awiti faded in and out untill she heard Muren's outcry. She tried to stand but she had a deep gash on her head making her dizzy as she tried to walk over to help Muren. She shook her head to get the blood rushing back into her head which helped her become less lightheaded. Once she was surefooted she sprinted at Muren and grabbed hold of the hyena who had ahold of him. andfell over the other side of Muren making the hyena cry and nearly pulled down little Muren. She laid there with a hyena on her teeth clamping down hard on its neck. Even if this was the last hyena should would fight that day Muren was now free to help the others. Awiti was exhasuted but she refused to let go of this hyena. How dare it hurt her family.

korvo slowly got up and saw baba protecting him his leg was swollen from the bites and he could hardly move it but it scared him when ziro ran out from the bushes to tend to his wounds ZIRO NO but he couldnt stop the baboon baba awiti come here quick

It was all happening in a flash-- his brother was under him and then he was out dashing his way into death, and then...everything was just going too quick for the young male. Runo quickly made his way back over to his brother, but was stopped in his tracks when his body was mauled over by hyenas. While they yipped and tugged at his fur, the male boomed and scratched them off only to have multiplying loads come back to restrain him. It wasn't looking good for the pride.
But with the thought of keeping his family safe and looking like the stronger male of the two that had just happened to drop by, he had a new found strength in him. Runo's large legs pushed the hyenas off and he dashed forward to where his mother was still laying and his sisters were protecting. With his teeth shiethed and claws tearing the track he ran through, into the pack he headed for straight on with his head down and mane flying past his eyes. He took a few blows to the head but nothing he couldn't walk off.
When he looked to the side he spotted that there was a new hyena caught in Awiti's mouth, her expression showing vacant protective nature. Runo rushed forward to her and took the hyena from her, throwing it away into a hoard of rebellious teen mutts that thought they wanted to dish out some more. When they saw how this family-- though it didn't include Korvo and Baba-- worked as hard as they did to watch over their own, their tails were sported between their legs and they trotted off and away from everyone. Runo remained still for a while, trying to make sure they were REALLY gone with his legs apart, head lower than his shoulders, and breathing heavily not from being tired but because he was furious that they hadn't left sooner.
Once he was sure they were gone, his face turned from where the dogs ran off to and looked at the two males. "Well weren't you two just a big help" the male sarcastically said in an angry tone, eyes narrowed and a faint snort from his nose to show displeasure. He growled and walked over to the three girls and little boy, "how are you guys holdin' up?"

Muren was in fact, nearly pulled down from Awiti nabbing the hyena. "Thanks" he said short of breath and watched as Runo chased off the remaining hyena's. He looked at his brother. "Im okay." He said, though his shoulder was still bleeding a bit and he had a cut across his muzzle, he looked fine otherwise. "I wonder why they were attacking us anyway....." He wondered aloud.

korvo growled "if it wasnt for me getting half killed no one wouldve known about them" he roared ziro then spoke "please korvo calm down." korvo knew that his leg was messed up but that furiated him "you think that you wouldve known while lying in a tree doing nothing" he jerked away from ziro the baboon that was tending to his leg. "if anything baba helped me out and protected me i could be DEAD! right now those hyenas thought i was a perfect meal that couldnt get away. ziro is a baboon that is healing my leg so please thanks for the complement some leader you are come on baba you can stay with pride."korvo began limping away with ziro and baba with a faint feeling

Awiti finally released the hyena from her teeth and laid on the ground with the top of her head still bleeding. She managed to get comfortable and laid looking over her family and the two males who had thankfully shown up. Everyone, with the exception of claw marks and teeth punctures was fine. She sighed loudly and heard Muren ask why the hyenas had attcked. She wondered this herself and managed to spit out the sentence directed toward Baba and Korvo asking "were either of you followed?"
Just then Korvo exploded with fighting words. All this destruction and he still had enough fight left in him to challenge Runo. Awiti stood and looked harshly at Korvo, "take back what you said Korvo or you're going to regret it." She bared her teeth at him and growled, her ears pinned down to her head. He may be wounded but Awiti began taking large leaps after him. She put her small body in front of hi blocking his path and roared again "I said take it back."

"NO" at that moment his pride members his son kero and and daughter siro came with 20 other lions all getting in front of him and surronding him roaring and showing teeth he told them to stand down and stared at awiti "come on guys lets go home" a few males never turned their backs to make sure no ambushes were in order korvo realized a certain male had to found for a problem

Runo smirked, "as opposed to some half-witted kitten who doesn't wanna face me like a man? I'm sorry but if you're the type of lion who's tryin' to insult me," he looked at Awiti and then back at the opposing male, "well I just don't see much of a leader in you either".
Looking back at his sister he motioned for her to come back, "come on Awiti. I don't need you wasting your time on someone who isn't worth it". He waited for the younger sister of his to come over, assuming she would listen to him this time and not be a self-righteous speaker in his name.

"Cheap shots, huh?" Runo strained through his neck and looked down at the heap of lion that was attaching itself to his body, "says the lion who goes for the neck right off the bat". He chuckled lowly but didn't falter. "I won't fight you," he blinked a few times, "since you're already injured. Some leader you are" he smirked to himself. Knowing full well that this was something that his little brother was not fit to see, Runo pulled the same trick with the hyenas and he flipped over, cushioning himself on Korvo's body.
When Korvo let go, Runo got up slowly and walked back over to his family. "Leave before you make an even bigger fool of yourself" he snorted.

Stupid was the only word that came to Awiti's mind. How could she have been so stupid to at one point in time like this bull-headed male Korvo, and she found it stupid that he was so bull headed. Awiti did as she was asked only until Korvo challanged Runo. SHe halted where she stood and ran in front of Runo. If he lost they would lose thier land but if she fought things would be ok.

"no not even close siro" korvo turned and once again left with the pride they were hunting nearby and thats how they found him walking off he didnt realize his youngest son kinoro ran out and roared only a cub korvo hoped kinoro wouldnt atempt a fight but no one knew and korvo wanted to see kinoro but if he got in trouble then korvo would step in to help him

Awiti roared loudly to scrae the yonug cub away. She once again bared her teeth at Korvo and was ready to fight him. He declined her challange? "You were right Runo, he is a horrible leader." Awiti laughed menicaingly at Korvo but was still prepared to fight.

Runo watched Korvo and his band of lions walk off before he looked back down at his little sister. He couldn't depict what she was feeling towards the whole situation; what she felt towards him after this whole situation ensued. Clearing his throat he looked down at her, "Awiti?" He waited for her to at least look at him or even flinch before he started in with his next line of words, "I'm...I'm sorry. Are you okay?"

Muren watched and saw the two break it up, when the little cub came out he growled. " hay you scat, go back with the rest of 'em " He warned and bared his fangs, trying to make the cub leave. He then turned and walked with Runo, towards Awiti. He stopped and looked at Baba, wondering if the male would really go with the now "rival" lion pride. He didn't particularly care much but it would mean that Korvo's pride would just be even stronger with another able-bodied male.

Awiti looked up at Runo but could not say anything. She was horrible for scaring a cub and felt horrible fo doing it but she only did it to prevent it from getting hurt. She went and laid down looking into the water for answers which she could not find. She was hurting physicaly and emotionaly from the fight.

as korvo and his pride walked off he felt bad he remembered why she left but he was so stuborn he brought the past back up pulled kero and siro back "i fell horrible for what i said and im sorry runo if we could make a treaty between the prides i'b be happy to share our land with you guys" siro and kero also apologized "so can we have a deal runo?"

korvo walked over to awiti with siro and kero behind him and they layed down beside her "we are sorry awiti very sorry for what we said and did we shouldnt have brought the past up but we did anyways so im sorry once again"

(Why did Runo snap at Baba? Baba helped Muren (That's his name right? I didn't say it in my post because I couldn't remember who was who so I just wrote young male) by distracting Hyenas that were chasing him and drawing them to himself. Although, I think you might have missed that part of my post because it went unnoticed...)
Baba had watched the conflist in silence. He had no right to interfere in something that didn't involve the solitary male. He kept his distance, not wanting to get caught up in it. Of course, Baba thought it was a bit unneccesary, the lengths they were going to after a simple sarcastic comment, but that was his opinion.
Baba watched as Korvo and his pride started to leave, a little surprised when they came back to apologise. At least there was some sense afterwards.

Awiti turned to Korvo and all she could bear to say was "we are even". She stood and walked over near Baba. She nuzzled him and said "Thank you" before laying on the ground near Runo. She hoped the fighting was done as her body was sore. Awiti no longer felt like moving even to run from conflict or danger. Her body went limp as she drifted off to sleep, hoping the next day would bring some peace and quiet as her head was throbbing from the gash she received during the fight.

While Runo took in short but relaxing breaths to avoid any further dramatic events occurring thanks to his short fuse and sometimes too big of a mouth, the lion watched after Korvo not saying anything to thicken the plot or reduce it-- another chat for another day, if Korvo was lucky.
That only left the other male, Baba. When Runo looked over he could see his younger sister thanking him somehow. For what? He barely did anything! Or at least that's what Runo saw. While she walked away from him, Runo's eyes were focused in on the older male. What was this slight feeling of...edge? Was this Baba male here to steal his pride and rule it for his own? Lord knows what would happen if Runo didn't keep the pride in his own paws. And it seemed like they liked him enough to keep it that way so there was no way he could even think about jeopardizing their safety. Not just being close to him through the ties of love and friendship, but they were his blood. And while Runo looked at Baba, Awiti came over and brought him back to reality.
He knew she was sore, and feeling pretty bad. He looked down at her body compared to his; small and fragile. The oldest brother took one last look at Baba before snorting and settling down to his sister. He knew she felt pretty bad, and like the father he had learned how to be for these three siblings of his he started to course his tongue over her knotted fur and placed a paw softly on her side to roll her over at his convenience when he couldn't reach a spot. No words were said from him while he was grooming her.

Awiti did not fuss or move as Runo groomed her. Although she was exhasuted she felt the need to say something to her brother. "I'm sorry Runo," she whispered " I should not of asked if he could stay, I know better than that." She looked over at Muren who had a deep cut on his shoulder which did not seem to phase him at all. She wanted to be brave and make desicions which would help her family but her heart always seemed to get in the way. She looked back at Runo once more, hoping her brother understood how she felt.

Muren looked at Baba, He still didn't care much, but he did emit the other helped him, and it looked like he wasn't heading off to Korvo's pride. " .... Runo, that guy got the hyena's to stop chasing me. " he said, and continued with. " maybe he could stay till he wasn't tired from fighting hyenas... " He ventured. The young lion sat near his brother, he still didn't want to be near the new male yet, but he thought he should at least say thanks in a way.

While Runo was cleaning his little sister, he heard her start to fuss about quietly though she didn't tell him to stop. He probably wouldn't have anyways, even if she had requested it. Though he did tone down his own volume when he heard her raise her voice to say she was sorry. He paused when she finished, but went straight back to what he was doing. There were a million things he could have said ranging from 'I told you so' to 'it's not your fault'. Nothing seemed appropriate, but he didn't pay heed to her and continued to bathe her. He left her without much of an answer usually, so it wasn't like she could see this as an odd motion of him.
Muren rose his own voice next, talking about how that Baba character had saved him. To that statement, he perked his ears and rose up to look down at the little beige brother of his, "you wouldn't have had to have ANYONE distract the hyenas if you had just stayed under me". His voice was frustrated and shaken, but he knew his brother meant only to protect their family. Sometimes though, Muren didn't comprehend that he was still a kid; a cub; inexperienced and still being trained. Runo sighed out and looked to his side with shame of raising his voice to the young male, "let me clean you up". Awiti was already finished and could fall asleep in peace if she wished now.
Pulling Muren towards him with his large paw, still growing as well, he started to mimic the same action he took with his little sister and tore the dirt away from his brother's bright gold coat. On his chestnut socks, there was remains of mud and dirt, but he would tend to that later. Little by little, Muren was starting to look presentable again just as his mother would have liked him to look when they were out in the public view. He had learned how his mother had set the standards for them when he was a cub-- about Muren's age-- and the others were tots (Muren wasn't even born at that point). Every so often when he was looking for a new spot on the small body to clean, he glanced over at Baba.
He was a fully grown male. Strong and fit, wise-looking and mature. His mane was grown in, and his colors were attractive and vibrant, sure to catch the eye of any female. Though he was sure of his own appearance being presentable and adult-like, he was no match compared to Baba...yet. Runo was still growing, and though he was large enough to take on any male twice his age, there was still the fact that he had his father's blood. And from what he remembered about his father, he was large and in charge; full bodied and the embodiment of a leader. There wasn't any pride Runo put in his blood father as far as it went to how he handled being a so-called "father" and ran off, leaving them to fend for themselves but he knew that he had learned better from what he never had to give his own cubs someday-- or in this case, his own brother and sisters.
The male spouted his breath upwards to his bangs and pushed them out of his eyes, focusing back onto his brother. He was clean enough, but there was no doubt mother would want to finish him up. With a release of his large paw, almost the size of Muren's head, Runo walked over to where Baba was and looked in his eyes, signaling he wasn't afraid of the male. "You might have helped my brother, and though I'm grateful to you, you're not trusted yet". In translation from Runo speak: 'Thank you for saving my little brother, you can stick around longer if you want to'.

Awiti laid still as her brother finished cleaning her pelt, although she was clean and ready for a long rest her mind was rattling. She knew her brother would leave her statements not responded to, but she had hoped just this once he would change. Awiti used her large clumsy paws( which she had not grown into yet) to ease her body off the ground. She groaned a bit and walked past Baba to a watering hole. She trusted Baba even if Runo didn't. Muren made a mistake and Baba helped him out tremendously, if Runo couldnt see it that was his own fault. As she eased down to drink, the bushes across the pond rattled as they had before and her heart jumped. A small frog leaped into the water and Awiti chuckled to herself, no more surprises she thought. She lapped up the water slowly and felt its coolness run down the back of her throat easing her pain from her roars earlier.
She once again turned to head home but her stomach growled lowly, she had eaten only the day before and her legs begged her to rest but after listening to Baba say how he could hunt on his own she wanted to give it a whirl. She smiled devilishly and headed out into the clarge clearing where animals graze. Nothing was there, the fight earlier must have scared off any pray for miles. She tried to climb a nearby tree but the branches were to high for her to reach, so instead she trotted back home with a emotionless face and laid down in a grass patch a good distance from everyone.

Muren sighed and let his brother clean him, squirming a bit an making a few grumbles before Runo finished up, patting down his hair a bit and sitting down, he thought it was fair what Runo had told Baba, He didn't fully trust him, but he HAD helped, so they could at least let him stay for a bit more to see how the male acted.
The young lion saw Awiti walk off, he didn't get why she was so mad and upset. " .... hmn" His ears went down, everyone looked so glum, or tense, he didn't like it. So he set off playing in a pool of water, that was cool and relaxing, he had his paws in and was laying right above the water line. He glanced at the water and took a few laps of the cool liquid.

ziro hoped in a tree near awiti and asked "why awiti so sad whats the matter?" (ziro doesnt have good grammar) korvo sat and watched his son play around and chase a butterfly when he saw murne playing he ran off to play with him "can i play too?" kinoro asked in a nervous voice.

OOC: Thanks :D I made the map bigger and I made a "exile" looking place, lots of sand and very few plants. PLus I have added more grass and trees to make the map look more full. :3
Awiti refused to speak with the primate sitting next to her. She instead turned her head at every attempt her made to speak. She finally roared loudly to try and scare him off. Awiti tried to be friendly earlier and look where it left everyone, she no longer wanted to be kind to these strangers. Runo had been right she deseverd a *told you so* from him but he was to kind to say these things aloud, though Awiti was sure that he was thinking it. She laid her head down on her paws once more and listened to Muren spashing his paws in the water. It was a soothing sound and she drifted off to sleep.

Baba nodded his head as Runo spoke, knowing that his words were sensible. Baba was an outsider, and Runo had every right to not trust him. He grinned at the male.
"Thank you. "
Baba got to his feet, stretching as he moved towards the water. He hadn't had anything to drink yet desite the water being the reason he had shown up. He lapped at the water before turning to inspect the damage from the hyena's but to his hind leg. It wasn't much, but it would be a little painful for a while. He was lucky, considering what a hyena's jaws could do to bone.

ziro was always the nice type ut he didnt like when people roared at him korvo leearned the hard way now awiti would he huffed himself up and ran down the tree and was throwing doung and rocks at awiti he then jumped on her and began violently ripping her hair out after he was done he said to awiti "a mutual respect we have now i hope" he showed his teeth and ran up the tree once more

Muren looked at the cub about to say sure, before hearing the roar and then the flinging of rocks he turned his head and saw what the baboon was doing. Outraged he ran at the monkey and bit into his back. " Don't you dare do that to my sister again! " he growled and throw him onto the ground, stepping on Ziro's neck with his claws out a low growl coming from him

"ok thats enough ziro lets go" korvo picked up the monkey" thanks muren he needs a check sometimes" he smiled and walked off yelling at ziro turned and threw rock but it missed and hit a vulture in flight kinoro then continued "so wanna play hide and go seeK or maybe tag or or maybe we can go to the graveyard and play with elephant bones and hyena pups or a scavenger hunt what do you want to do muren!"

Awiti had hardly noticed the attacks. "Thanks Muren" she mumbled hardly lifting her head from the ground. Her face turned into a snarl with the sound of the cubs voice asking questions to Muren. If he wanted to brag about his family Korvo was doing a wonderful job. She said nothing aloud but was judging him as Runo had earlier.

"No," Awiti growled but once she realised that it was the cub speaking to her she changed her tone. "no thank you," she said quickly trying to change her attitude towards the cub. "I'm very tired right now." The cub had done nothing wrong and Awiti new this so there was no reason for her to be hateful towards him. She curled into a ball in the savannah grass and once agian tried to sleep.

Awiti looked at Korvo and nodded her head, "yes" was he only word she spoke when asked. "Now let me sleep," she sounded aggitated, and snarled with half her teeth showing.

Awiti roared once more at Korvo "LET ME SLEEP". Yes Awiti was being rude but she was exhausted her body needed rest. Her eyes were heavy, she couldnt fight sleeping any more.

The oldest brother had found himself some nice areas of shade along the borderline of their pride so it would give him a nice chance to keep an eye on his territory and who inhabited it, along with watching who would come around them. Every once in a while, to remind himself that he was still a young male as opposed to an older father, he would sit around the territory lines and see who would catch him in their eyes. Most of the time, because of his colors being so plain but his markings earning him a unique look, he would get some looks from females but never would they come over and look him over closer. Could it have been because of his status? Maybe, but there certainly wasn't much for him to go on-- after all, he was indeed the male leader of a small pride that barely had enough to take on a full pride. Though Runo was young and still learning how to get along with other prides, he'd maintained the leadership and kept his land for his family, but nothing was earned on how own-- mother, brother and sisters were a huge help.
Runo sat up and got to his four paws, turning the bend to the watering hole. Thank goodness it was close to where he was laying himself down for an afternoon cat nap. But when he heard the raised voices of a female who sounded a lot like Awiti, he turned his head and looked to see her in a tree looking down at something that was apparently not too pleasing to her. With curiosity that killed the cat, Runo stepped forward and spied the same form of Korvo that he had seen earlier. He looked as though he was almost 'calling' to her. Did he love her or something?
But when he rose his voice at her, he had had enough. The male burst through the bushes with a roar and got in front of the tree, looking down at Korvo. Had this idiot not learned the first time? What was his deal? It was almost like he was looking for a fight. Though Runo rather wouldn't fight for no reason, he was getting closer to breaking his own moral just for this waste of skin. "I suggest you screw off" he snarled, taking an obvious stance between Korvo and Awiti, "before you dig an even deeper hole for yourself".

Awiti sat up and stand at RUno who was towering over her small frame. He had understood that Korvo was getting under her fur and he needed to stop. She wished she would have handled it better on her own but instead she went from a lay to crouching behing Runo and using his as a shield from Korvo. Earlier she would have simply chased this male away by herself but all she wanted now was rest. As she stayed down behind Runo's body she listened to the males spit words back and forth at one another all the while she was tremlbing with fear. If she was exhausted think how Runo must feel.
SHe finally stood and took a stand next to her brother nuzzling Runo then baring her teeth at Korvo. "You have you own family, take them and leave," she said nearly spitting on him.

((Omygodguys I'm so so so so so so so sorry I've been away so long! My dad blocked this site at my house because he found me awake on the site at like, three in the morning earlier last month, and he went all raeg on me. I also have school so I'm not on my computer as much anymore. On a public computer at the moment, though. x_x;

(Well, My character Baba and Seans Character Korvo are new to the RP. They introduced themselves a bit after a bit of a misunderstanding, when a hyena pack attacked. Your character and Kerma's slept through it. There has also been a bit of a fight between Korvo and Runo, and things are very strained between Korvo's Pride and this one, in my opinion, and Baba has been given permission to rest in the Umnedni Territory. I haven't gone into a whole lot of detail.)

So badly Runo just wanted to collapse on the ground and sleep. Or even walk away and get it over and done with so he could close his eyes and not have to worry about his sister getting into any trouble or possibly having to come after another male such as Korvo. But this was cat world and in this world you have to be strong and win if you wanted something. Even though it grew tiresome sometimes.
All the nuzzling to his mane did was soften him up more. He wanted to sleep so badly, but he hadn't gotten the chance being the big macho man around when there was a fight. Everything had passed by so quickly but time was slowing itself down just to mock him it seemed. At least Awiti wouldn't have to deal with Korvo on her own and feel like she was alone in the situation. At least.
Now all that was left to do was to wait it out and see if he wanted a fight or not. If he didn't, fine he could leave in peace and they could go about their days. If he did, then fine Runo would give chase until he was tired of it and showed the young Korvo what was what in the world of big cats.

OOC: Oh by the way you guys, Emily up there [//points obnoxiously at her name] who plays Kattrina, is Runo's possible mate. They're still kind of 'getting used to each other' right now, so she may or may not be a part of the pride. But I figured she might as well come on in and introduce herself :3

OOC: I can try and send it through another site( if you know of one I cant seem to find one that works ), there should just be a yellow box that you click it says "Download file", on the one i sent you, I promise ther are no viruses or anything in the download =/ Ill keep looking around. Sorry that it didnt work out. And runo the proud protective brother may have a mate, thats adorable that somone tugs on his heartstrings :3

Well, megafile is good, I think. heres a link. my anti virus tested the site and says it's safe, and it seems simple enough to upload to. Beware of somewhat adult ad though, it pops up, you just have to close it. It's nothing bad or graphic, but it gets in the way, so just hit close at the top.

(I figured out our issue. Megafile adds a bunch of words in brackets to the begining of the file, so9 I just removed them, and tada! It works now!

That's okay. In all honesty this RP has been quiet for so long I kind of forgot about it... Though I think Baba is still here after I went through my massive character clean up... but maybe not... I might need to maker him again if I deleted him...
