Title: Switching Maps

You have how some people are annoyed seeing the same everyday and be complaining they want a new one? Well, how about we changed the main FeralHeart maps, and switch them to other maps users created.

It is possible right?

Although that sounds like a good idea, it sounds an awful lot like caving in doesn't it?
And not to mention everyone will have to get used to these old maps(And they might not even work).

Plus, I think a source code is needed for that as well.

Good idea on paper, but in practice it might not be all that grand.

No, it is not possible. You would have to know some severe coding to edit the fhm. files in the main maps file because you would need to have a portal to the map. Adding a single fhm. file wouldn't help. But I could see if it is possible.

EDIT: Not possible, I looked in the Podium fhm map and man, god. Take a look..

Yeah, this probably wouldn't be possible. I believe you could make a new map in map maker, name it the same thing, and replace the original map, but this would cause a lot of problems since things wouldn't be in the same spot and such.

If someone did manage to get into the original map files, it would work more as a downloadable mod than an update. I wasn't here when the game was still being updated, but I believe there would be popups saying to go get FH updated and it isn't possible to do without the source code.

I like the idea and it would be nice to have a revamp of the maps, but sadly it isn't possible. I've made a whole map pack that has remade the original maps, but it only works as a downloadable map and won't replace anything.

Yup, the code for the map is encrypted so NOBODY CAN TOUCH IT. It's for a reason though so no hackerz can come and mess up the game like what they did with Impressive Title.

As for the OP, I don't think that's possible without the source code available. the only thing this can be done respectively is creating and downloading custom maps for people to download.
