I' quite an avid role-player however navigating forums is not my strong point. I'm also new to Feral Heart so I don't know anyone on. I'm merely looking for a simple pack or pride role-play with committed members and an easy to understand story line. My expertise is definitely not fantasy. Hope someone can help me find the right group to join.

Well, since you are on the Advertising Board right now, I suggest you go and look at the groups actually advertised here! I'm sure your bound to find something you like! If you don't, then try looking around in game, and watch all of those little movies that people make to advertise their groups. If something sounds interesting, whispering their leader or recruiter is usually the way to go. You can ask what it's about, and such. Hope I helped!

Renaschentia- A prehistoric (and some modern species) based roleplay which is decently active. 'Tis a mapped roleplay, so if ye need help in learning to download maps, I am most happy to offer ye m'expertise! If ye are into dinosaurs and times before time, this roleplay is for ye. The Great Forest- A large and active Warrior Cat roleplay. This roleplay is based off a book series (written by actually a bunch of people under the pseudonym Erin Hunter) of cats living in the wild under clans. 'Tis a mapped group and has four clans to choose from. These are just a few good roleplay's I 'ave encountered during m'times on FH. I would join them m'self if I wasn't working on m'fantasy roleplay. Of course, never limit y'erself to just a few roleplays. As Fizzy has mentioned, feel free to browse the many roleplay advertisements on the board. Best of luck to ye deary!
