Title: Game won't open

Whenever I try to open fearlheart it crashes in around 0.2 - 1 seconds. I don't know why, I've tried uninstalling it, and deleting the files, but it just won't work  :-[ If you need to know then I'm on a Mac Mini (Late 2012), with version 10.10 (Yosemite).
And I have had Fearlheart open working before.

Have you tried changing your rendering subsystem? If your rendering system is set to Direct3D9, change it to OpenGL (visc versa). To change your rendering system, to into C:\Feral-heart. Once you're in the main folder, you should see an "ogre.cfg" file. Click on it, open with Notepad, and look at the first two lines. If the first two lies are:

Render System=OpenGL Rendering Subsystem
[OpenGL Rendering Subsystem]

Then change it to...

Render System=Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem
[Direct3D9 Rendering Subsystem]

Also, since you're running the game on a Mac computer, have you downloaded the Mac installation?

I just tried that but it did not work. :( Yes I am using the mac installation.

Do you have any duplicate particle files? In your objects folder, if you see any files that end with _0, _1, or so on, delete them. Sometimes computers have a hard time distinguishing differences with files with the same name, so it's best to delete the duplicate ones.

You could be missing a file. The links provided in this quote might help you.

I do not have a particle file that ends in _1 or _0 or so on, but I am however missing one of the files listed in the quote above, however I can't install it since I'm on a mac and the link is a .exe installer. The missing file is d3dx9.dll.

Ah, no worries deary. I 'ave uploaded m'own d3dx9.dll file to dropbox for ye to download. 'Tis not in the .exe installer.
