Title: Map Making: How do I get OUT of my created map?
Post by: Jace-Inumara on August 04, 2015, 12:32:03 am
Yis. It's me again.
Obviously I have progressed in my making, figuring out my problem was not adding "Terrain" onto my map name.
Seriously. That easy.

So I made literally everything now and I've even connected it to the Cape of Distant Worlds! Yay!

...

Not yay.
Because when I went in as one of my characters I turned around and saw...!

No portal.
How do I get out?

Is there a way to...fix this?

Hmm, it sounds like you might not have added a portal to the map. If you didn't do this, the portal will appear outside of the map's boundaries and become unreachable.

There's a tutorial for adding portals into maps here. (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=19214.0)

Hope this helps!

As Turtlex has mentioned above, watching this video will help ye learn more about portals n'such.

To get y'er character out ASAP without working on the map some more, head to the User Panel on the top right corner of the FH site. Log into the User Panel, find y'er character, and click "Send Home." This shall send him back to wherever ye set his home to or the default home, Lonely Cave.

Hope this helps deary! Best of luck with y'er map!
