Title: Lag in MapMaker?
Post by: .Dispute. on August 08, 2015, 06:29:47 am
I'm making a map and sometimes it just really really lags, the mini map on the screen also glitches and does that thing where it stretches and becomes a bunch of lines, is there some way I can stop this, does anyone know why it's happening?

Hello, there. I would suggest you uninstalling FH. It's a possibility that you have deleted the file temp.map and the folder temp who is located to the terrains folder.

The best solution: uninstall, delete and reinstall FH, but don't forget to back-up all your maps (the .map files and their folders), the objects (.object files), and all your meshes and stuff.

Replace your current temp folder with a working temp folder in FeralHeart>Media>Terrains from an untouched FH.

Good luck!

Hi there. Although there could be numerous reasons as to why your map is lagging, since the mini map is glitching as well, your best hope for a solution is probably taking Moontwist's advice. If you decide to uninstall Feral-heart, please let us know if it fixes your problem. c:

If ye could, try working on a different map for a little while? It could be the poly-count, if I am remembering the term correctly, that is starting to glitch y'er screen. It may be a certain mesh y'er using as well, that might be triggering the glitch.

M'recommendation, besides what these two lovelies before me 'ave suggested, is to try editing the Watermill map to see if ye get the same results. Best of luck to ye!
