Title: The Lion Guard (new series)

It's official and not a rumor! I just saw on Facebook and doubled checked on Google it's going to be on Disney Junior, obviously for young kids. First off, I don't care how old i am but...I'm going to be watch it and I'm so exicted! Don't you feel it? After 20 years from releasing the big movie: Lion King, they finally decided to bring a show about it! HOW EXCITING! I heard and saw the show is coming this fall on November 2015. Can't wait.

I don't like the designs and how does Kion fit into the story though?

I saw a few clips.

And I did hear about this not terribly long ago, and had no opinion at the time...
.... but can i just say it's not even out and i despise that with almost every fiber of my being.
Just one word will explain why:
Hyenas.

other then that it looks like a cash-in to me so meh.

I've heard about this last year. Tbh it looks really cheesy because it reminds me of the tv series for "The Land Before Time" and Kion[?] seems like a bland and lazily-developed character (just look at that name lol kid+lion=kion). But hell, the show is directed at preschoolers. Though it's nice that they're doing something with TLK again because it's one of my favorite movies of all time.

Even as a pretty big fan of The Lion King, I'm not looking forward to this. Yeah, I know its for toddlers, but it still just seems.. bleh. The character designs look horrible (especially the hyenas like what are those), and why does Kion have a magical roar and magically appearing cutie-mark on his shoulder? And all the characters besides Kion pretty much don't look like they belong in the Lion King universe at all, though I guess its a spinoff and the styles wouldn't be the same.

But yeah, not really looking forward to this.

What is up with these character designs? I don't mean to judge it before i've seen it but ew, I really don't like those designs.
