Title: Map Making Problem
Post by: Shadowpaw666 on August 20, 2015, 08:07:05 am
Whenever I create a map via Gimp (Everything is correct when I make it), as soon as I upload it to feral heart and edit it through there, water always shows around the map. I will post pictures to show you what I mean. Is it meant to look like this or is it something I'm doing wrong? If so, what do I do to stop this from happening? Please help!

The water is meant to stay around the map by default, there's nothing you can do to remove it, unfortunately!

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much, is there any way of hiding it though?

Hooli is correct. :) And You can hide them (if you want) by adding plants or rocks on the edges of the map. :3

You can also add a higher terrain on the outskirts of the map so it's not noticeable to the eye when other users are in that map.

As mentioned above, adding objects such as plants and trees around the boarders will make it less visible.

You can also add a boarder so no one can reach that far into the map! c: If you take a look at the Boundry (as shown on the screenshot) you can change that and people will only be able to reach a certain area.

Hope this helps!

I'll go ahead and lock this since it seems to have been answered.
