Title: FeralHeart Crashes Upon Startup (READ IT ALL PLEASE)
Post by: xmapleleafx on October 03, 2015, 12:17:35 pm
I've never had this problem before.

I tried reinstalling FeralHeart many times, but it never worked. And yes - I did delete ALL  the files upon uninstalling.
Please do not suggest reinstalling because I have done this round about 5 times.

I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else because as soon as I go on it, I am met by this;

Feralheart not Responding - I then have to manually close it because the x button doesn't respond either.

I have nothing installed in my markings, items, etc, no mods to see if that worked.

I tried restoring my computer to a earlier date but it still doesn't work.

Please, if anyone else knows how to fix this, please leave a response, I love feralheart and it would be sad to not be able to play it again --
But if you think it's my laptop, please respond. I have a Sony laptop which it is fairly new, I've had it for about 5 months.

How much space have you used up on your laptop?

I would recommend cleaning out files (Or you can do a disk cleanup in shorter ways), restarting your laptop and then try opening FeralHeart.
If it happens again you may just have to reinstall, sorry to say...

I have only downloaded a few things but I will try CCleaner, thanks.

Do ye 'ave any protection services such as Norton on y'er computer? I 'ave heard that some malware protection services do block games such as Feral Heart. If ye do, ye'll 'ave to go into the products settings and disable the option that says 'tis blocking FH.

I do hope I 'ave helped and I hope ye can get it working on y'er computer soon. Glad to hear ye 'ave an alternative if it doesn't work.

Have you tried searching for double-particles? If you see any that end in _0,_1, etc, delete them, as these can prove to be a bit tricky. Also, you could try running the game through an administrator. To do this, right click on the FH icon, and select "Run on administer." It might be a good idea to check your firewall, too, and make sure that no program is blocking access to the game.

Thank you for your help. I discovered when I deleted my game called Zoo Tycoon 2 it worked for some reason. Weird.

Ah, it's possible that your computer didn't have enough data space, and when you removed another installation, it was able to function properly. I'm glad to hear that your problem was fixed, though; I will lock this topic up, since the issue was solved.
