I'm looking for someone who can make a nice preset of my winged wolf OC, Duskfang.
If you can make him with semi-realistic fur texturing, that will be awesome!
Here's what he looks like:
- His fur is black as a main base body color
- He has white paws, grey knees/heels and elbows, and black thighs and upper sections of front legs
- The tufts of fur on the elbows and the heels of the hind legs are grey
- The canine wolf tail has black base, grey center, and white tip
- The legs and tail are smoothly blended along the transitions of color sections with gradient effects
- His black avian wings has white streaks along the flight feathers
- The insides of his black ears are white
- He has white swoosh-like cheek marks, starting at lower eyelids, back, down, and forward, then fading/tapering
- He has blue eyes, with round canine pupil and iris
- His nose is white on a black muzzle

Yeah. Something that gives a sense of realism but not too much lags on viewers for people who doesn't have very good internet or else rely on limited internet data.

I don't wanna pick a texture that you might not like, so here's a list of them here (http://www.deviantart.com/browse/all/?q=feralheart+free+canine+textures) for you to pick from. :D Just to make sure, you want to change the wing/eye texture as well too or leave it default?

And yes, I'd like some more realistic feather textures for the wings, and the eye textures would look nicer with a more natural appearance.

I know, but what I mean to say about the fur was that I like the streamline arrangement of the fur texture I showed you. But as long as the fur texture looks appealing with black and white color shading, I'll be fine with whatever texture you have that is second best to the one I showed you.
However, the wing texture looks really nice. It's too bad we can't do much about the shape of the wings, though.
And the eye texture is perfect. The blue one you have in that deviation is the one I'm going for.
(Sorry for late response, the stupid forum site was forcing me to deal with it's problematic glitch issues and wouldn't let me post for awhile regardless of how many times I tried to resubmit the post.)

How long do you think it will take? I'm not on the Feral Heart site very often. But I do have a Deviant Art account. Thank you. My Umbreon Pokesona was my newest OC. I'm hoping to have him created next eventually. Kagehikari is the Japanese name for "Shadowlight".

Wow, that was fast! This is so amazing! I love how it turned out! Even the color transition from black to grey to white on the legs and tail is perfect, as is the way you did the wings and the cheek marks! Thank you for making this, Mew! You can send it over, and I will try and get it set up so I can meet you in-world wearing this preset. We just need to arrange a time and place to meet up. ^^
Now, you mentioned that you are interested in making my Umbreon Pokesona, right? Would you like me to send you the link to the reference image?

Certainly. I can decide to leave them out later on if needed when I upload the textures into the game world. Better to have an extra item than to be missing one, right? (In other words, better safe than sorry!) ^^

Oh it's not an item, it's on the creator. You just select elbow tuft and it will appear. I just wanted to add it to show you with the elbow tufts.

I know it's a creator feature, which is why I said I could choose whether to include the tufts or not. So having the tufts part colored properly will allow me to include the tufts if I so choose. And I meant the word "items" as an expression. I guess I should have phrased it differently, like, "It's better to have too much than to have too little". Sorry for the misunderstanding. ^^
Also, what is your local time in comparison to forum time? It will help us arrange for a time of day to meet up at a specific location in-world. My local time zone is -7 hours of server time, so 7pm server time would be noon where I live.

That's my current time, so we might be in the same time zone. If that's the case, then can we meet in-world in front of the falls and lake near the tunnel entrance from Lonely Cave? We can do it at 9pm tonight if that's okay with you? After you send me the finished preset, that is. Can't wear it without the files needed to make it work. You'll be able to recognize me there because of the preset you created for me. ^^

Are you talking about that place call ficho tunnel? Actually maybe how about around 6:00 PM? And about the preset, I think you need to export the preset I made you then give it to me in order to see yours I think. Probably I have to do the same over here too to let you see mine. Though I haven't created my OC preset yet. ^^;

I think there is a trick to working around that. I think you probably need an invisible default layer of each preset section added into the preset folder, and that allows proper visibility to players who don't own that preset, but I could be mistaken.

We can test it out in-world to see how it turns out. It will be a learning curve for us both. ^^
But as my viewer kept on crashing for the past several hours, with the same occurring with my browsers, I had no choice but to restart my laptop (I'm currently using my Kindle Fire tablet to access the forums for writing this post). But I will make sure to be there by 6 tonight.
