Quick question. Which version of DirectX does FeralHeart use? Nine? Ten? 11?
-
I believe my computer is running 11 or 12, however all I know is that FeralHeart uses Direct3D9 as rendering system.
Or OpenGL if you wish to use that.

Hmm, well I couldn't find any other version when I searched m'computer b'sides six. I may need to upgrade, but 'tis working just fine now, so I don't think I need to fix something that isn't broken.
Are ye 'aving issues with y'er FH concerning the version of y'er DirectX or are ye just curious?

I'm not looking for the name of the renderer. I'm looking for the version of DirectX that Feral-Heart uses. Something such as DirectX 11, DirectX 10, etc.
I need to find the version of DirectX, as I am trying to get Reshade to work with Feral-Heart. However, I can't seem to get it to work on Windows 8.1. When installing Reshade, there is a .dll file you must rename, depending on the version of DirectX the game uses. Straight from the README file:
- Direct3D8 => d3d8.dll
- Direct3D9[Ex] => d3d9.dll
- Direct3D10+ => dxgi.dll
There is also one for OpenGL:
- OpenGL => opengl32.dll (for 64bit too)
The file I need to rename is 'ReShade32.dll,' since Feral-Heart itself is 32-bit.
It's kind of an issue, as I can get Reshade and SweetFX to work with Feral-Heart on Windows 7 and 10 on meh other computers, but not this one specifically.

Ah, then I'd change it to d3d9.dll as that is what I commonly see when searching my files that are related to FH.

Ah. I was quite blind and realized that the version of DirectX was right in the renderer name (D9). Finally fixed it. Thank you!
