Title: 2015 party presets won't show?
Post by: Arcea on December 29, 2015, 02:39:26 am
Yeah, I know this is kinda late, but my cousin and I both have been having problems with the presets from the 2015 party? Do they not work anymore, or is it a bug of some sort?
Any sort of help is welcome. ^u^

Can you explain further what you did with the presets? Like, which files did you placed them in? Or are you getting a certain error.

I'm sure the link should still work since they're exposed to public.

We didn't do anything with them, just renamed the username part to our username (I have read you're supposed to do that in a guide). We don't get any errors, it just won't show up.
We placed them in the 'presets' folder, not the 'my_presets' as the readme said not to.

Ah, there's where you went wrong. You aren't supposed to touch/rename the .fhp files or else they won't work o:
They're named with for the specific user who's wearing the preset.

You aren't supposed to change the names to your username...

If it is the fhp files you mean, those should not be renamed, it quite frankly does not work.
They're named after other users as they were the people to export them for their own use.
You'll need to get your own presets, with the jpg/png files as well as material file, they also need to be placed in the correct My_Presets folder and the material file needs to be coded correctly. The file names should be placed in there.

The presets you downloaded sound like they're users presets for the party, ones they were wearing. Your download is only to see them in-game.

If you want to find out how to make your own preset, there are basic guides around the forum and youtube.

Ah, ok! I thought they were for public use.. ^^;
Sorry for the confusion everyone, and thanks for explaining.

Also, thanks PrettyReckless for giving me a link for making presets (and other things, too). ^-^

I suppose I'll lock this up as the issue appears to have been resolved. Good luck with the presets and maybe creating some of your own in the future. c:
