Title: ENB Troubles
Post by: ThatRandomTypo on January 14, 2016, 11:26:59 pm
I'm on a mac, first of all
I downloaded the ENB for FeralHeart in "Red's Corner" and I THINK I put all the files in the correct place.
My only problem is that nothing is different. I've tried pressing Shift+F12 but that only changes the volume (default computer setting) . Anyone who might know if they could help? I mean, I may not have the files in the right place but I don't know

I've never downloaded any sort of ENB mod for FH, but I believe that they do have to be turned on and off. If the only changes you see are lighting, volume, etc (or things that are already plugged into your computer), then I suggest going into the mod's coding and change the key that toggles the mod on and off (just be sure it's a key that doesn't already serve a purpose both in the game and on your computer!). I can't really give you anything more than this, but I do hope this makes a light bulb go off in your head

Ah, are ye using OpenGL f'er FH? If so, try changing it to Direct3D9 as that is what the ENB mod works on.

If that doesn't solve it, mind telling me where ye placed the files?

I checked and I can't find anything for the keybindings in the file I can open (the other doesn't open)

Well, it says I'm on Direct3D9 so that shouldn't be the problem
And I've placed the files into the folder for Feral Heart, though I feel like it should be somewhere else and I don't want to look silly cx I'll just post a little screenshot

Hmm, is the ENB the one folder labeled "FHRoot"? Also, did the download not come with a Read Me? It may 'ave specified the location to where ye are to place the files.

FH Root is just the folder where all of the CFG files are and such
And it did not come with a readme, I got this from "Red's Corner" by the way
The ENB files are the two at the bottom

Well, it seems to me that ye did place them in the correct spot. It could very well be the fact that y'er computer is a Mac. Macs don't work well with FH mods and usually crash upon downloading them. I would only assume that instead of crashing, the mod just refuses to work.

I'm not well acquainted with the ENB mod b'sides m'knowledge of files and where they should go. I would suggest PMing Red himself and asking him if the mod works with Macs, since he was the one who made it. Maybe he might know how to fix this issue.

Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

It's alright, and I will try to toss a PM at Red, thanks for the input though!
