Title: Animal games?
Post by: sparkle-dog on February 01, 2016, 04:51:21 pm
Does anyone know of any games where you can play as an animal, dragon or dinosaur and do animal things?

You could always try Dino Storm, doesn't evolve around animals of modern time but it is a good place to go should to be interested in dinosaurs and cowboys and laser guns. Cereal Soup, as I have heard, is also very good. WolfQuest has recently released their newest update where you can add scars to your character; however I wouldn't recommend immediately going there due to the requirement of spending money to get the update. I'll be sure to update this should there be any found games I think you might like.

I want to BE the animal, so Dino Storm isn't for me. Thanks for the other two suggestions though.

Here's a promising dino game. http://saurian.maxmediacorp.com (http://saurian.maxmediacorp.com) I'm not sure if they have any versions or demos released, but it would something for you to look forward to if you haven't heard about it yet.

It's around $20, but The Isle is out and in Alpha on Steam. You can play as a dinosaur - although in later development they will add playable humans as well.

I can vouch for both Saurian and The Isle.

Saurian is coming out into early access for Kickstarter backers this June, and The Isle is already in full swing on Steam.
Both games look good, and I know for certain The Isle plays well even on the lowest possible settings.
It's just the servers you must worry about.
