Title: Invalid map names?
Post by: Mythicalwolf02 on February 06, 2016, 08:22:32 pm
So I was just making a normal map and I was just trying to put the name in and this is what I get (if it shows up)
.... It seems like "insert image" Doesn't work either -.-...
These are the names:
Map name: Ancient Meadow, AncientMeadow, ancientmeadow, ancient meadow.
Map display name: Ancient Meadow, AncientMeadow, ancientmeadow, ancient meadow.    I did the tutorial correct but the map maker hates me again because of the stupid save button ;-;.

Only if saved the files not the .fhz. Is you saved just the .fhz then it won't work.

Map names cannot have spaces. Or any fancy stuff like that.

I saved it as a png file... And I've seen lots of people having fancy names like this... ;-;   I'm not sure when you say "you saved it as a .fhz file." cause I didn't, I saved it as .png, and in the map maker I created as png ( Ancient Meadow Terrian.png)

There cant be any spaces in Ancient Meadow Terrian.png. It needs to be called AncientMeadowTerrian.png

Terrain files can have spaces, but not normal like the one you have now. They must be defined using an underscore(_). If not, it won't work.
So, if you still want your words spaced out, trying using something like this:
Code: [Select]
Ex: Mountain_Range_Terrain.png
And yes, this method was tested in-game.

Just a quick little note. Don't worry about .fhz files, because those are from back in 2011 and were changed to something else; they no longer exist ^^'

Alright thank you guys! I was fixing to say "it's not working ;-;." But when I put _ as the spaces ( Ancient_Meadow_Terrain.png/ Ancient_Meadow)
