Alright, so, please bear with me here, as I haven't played this game for a good year or two, and I forgot a ton of things. So, if I seem a little clueless here, this is why.
I got a new laptop recently, since Christmas, and I've been aching to play this game, since I haven't in a while. I had downloaded this game on my old Mac desktop a few years ago, and I played it just fine then, but when I tried to download the Mac version on the website to my new laptop, it didn't work? Mind, it DID download, yeah, but it won't open? It says there's some sort of problem. I kept force quitting it and trying so hard to open it, but it wouldn't. I deleted it, uninstalled it, yada-yada-yada, and then I redowloaded it and reinstalled it, hoping it would work, but that didn't seem to work either? I've been trying this for a few times, and I'm wondering if there's a solution to this? Or, is the Mac version just not working? Is it my laptop? Because it seems to work completely fine for everything else?
Ah, and another thing, just now, I went to my old desktop- you know, the one I said had the game from when I first got it a few years ago- to see if I could drag it into my flash drive and install it into my laptop from there. Before I did try to do the flash drive method, I tried to open it to see if it worked on there. No. Nothing. Not even a window or anything to explain it. It would bounce a few, stop and show the little white dash beneath the "app" that's usually there when something is open (or in another case, if you've updated your Mac computer which I have not done on my desktop, there would be a little dot instead), then that dash would disappear as if I hadn't opened it at all? No windows, no popups, no warnings- absolutely nothing. I tried to open it again and again, but nah, it didn't work there either. I've tried looking this up, but nothing came up. This is honestly the last idea I came up with, to seek help on the forums. If this doesn't work, I guess it doesn't matter too much anyway. Just want to give it a try and see if I can get some decent help.
It would really help me out a lot.
If any further explanation on my problem, if any pictures or whatever is needed, I can provide those as well. I'll keep trying/looking around on the forums and the internet, too, but I just want to see if I can get any real help.
Thank you again. :)

I don't know too much about Macs, but I do know that the latest version of Mac (not sure what this is, but hopefully you know whether you're on the latest version) does not let FH run. If your computer is on the latest version then you'll have to revert back to an older version
Hopefully a Mac person will hop onto this thread soon c':

To add on to what was said above, some users have had issues transferring data from one computer to another, so if you're going to install the game on your new Mac, I would suggest downloading it straight from the website. When you first discovered that the game wouldn't open, what did the pop up/error message say?

I'm rather confused, considering that the only links in the thread you've provided me only sends me to Adfly? The "Download" link is in red, leading me to believe I have tried that already? Nothing else there seems to really help me out, I don't think, but otherwise, thank you so much! :)

Ah, then this could be the problem. I know my Mac is updated to the latest, or somewhat the latest. But when I went to test it on my older Mac, which is NOT updated at all, and I'm sure it hasn't been updated since I've downloaded FH on there, it didn't open at all? It didn't show me any popups or anything- it just didn't do anything. But it could be that that computer is really old and slow anyway, so that could be the problem?

The Download Link Is In Red Because It Must've Been The Text Colour Itself. It Shows Up Red For Me As Well.
As for the adfly, you couldn't simply skip it?

The pop up simply tells me, "The application X11 could not be opened." The options it gives me is either "Report" or "Quit". Upon hitting report, it says that "FeralHeart quit unexpectedly" and gives me a bunch of numbers and codes and stuff- the "details", if you will. It says to click reopen to open the application again, then it says that the report will be sent to Apple immediately. When I hit reopen, absolutely nothing happens.

Edit:
Ah, Adfly is only allowing certain 'things' to pass through onto the site, I see why you couldn't really get on.
As for your last post, You might want to run a computer scan, possibly. Maybe some virus slipped through during the transfers. . . . Could be wrong of course. Another thing, I would probably want to clean your computer from FH entirely and just try again, maybe that would work?

Oh, yeah, a scan could help. I've never scanned my computer for, ever, so I'm a tad unsure of it and a little worried I'd lose anything? I have Mackeeper, but I haven't used it at all. I could try it, though. As for cleaning my computer from FH entirely and trying again, I've done that. Many times, actually. I've tried it, and repeated the downloading process, and it still hasn't worked.

Well if the scan detects something that could be bad, it'll probably get rid of it, without & hopefully without, messing with the files if your files are safe.
Good Luck ~!
