Ello everyone. I've been messing around with MasterEffect (Another graphical mod xP). I was planning on releasing this sooner, but I got too lazy. Also, while testing, I used FHD and when I copied MasterEffect over to a clean install of FH, the effect came out DRASTICALLY different, so I had to adjust it. Here are the screenshots:

To turn the MasterEffect on or off, use ScrollLock. By default, MasterEffect is already enabled. Also, make sure your rendering subsystem is OpenGL, otherwise, this will not work!
The original intention was to create a darker atmosphere while still colorful and not dull like how FH would normally look. The screenshots might show up a bit dark, but when playing the actual game, it isn't as dark is the pictures look. Enjoy!
UPDATE (5/21/2016):
I've updated the MasterEffect config so it isn't as dark any more, but as a result, I had to adjust the bloom as it would make some parts of the UI really bright. It may still bug you though. If it does bug you, just open up MasterEffect.h in a text editor and find the 'Bloom' settings then change it to your liking. c:

Since the new update, I tested out MasterEffect and it does not seem to like the new UI and character creation screen, so I had to update it once again. :P

Hello! :) I just downloaded it, but it doesn't work. Wether I click on ScrollLock or not. The only difference is that the sun is gone. Can you help me please? I putall the files in the main FH folder, because I didn't know where I should put them all.

What operating system are you running on? Also, make sure you are running on OpenGL renderer.

I have OpenGL renderer, but I think the issue might be that that shouldn't put every file into the main Fh folder, or it is that I shouldn't only be clicking on ScrollLock.

ScrollLock is the correct key. Perhaps you need to press FN key, then ScrollLock? By default, MasterEffect should be on. Are you running on Mac OSX or Windows?

When I log on FH, it isn't on, so that's weird. Also I have Windows 10.

Try updating Windows 10. Make sure you're FH directory has these folders:
exports
MasterEffect
media
my_presets
presets
screenshots
Then, make sure you have these files:
ReShade32.dll
opengl32.dll
ReShade.fx
MasterEffect.h
If any of these are missing, then it's probably because I messed up and didn't compress all the files needed.

I have all those files, and I've extracted them to the main FH folder, but there's also pictures named mcsprite that i have no idea where to put, so I put them in the main folder too.

I think you may have messed up with placing the files. All you have to do is drag the "MasterEffect" folder and these files:
ReShade32.dll
opengl32.dll
ReShade.fx
MasterEffect.h
Right into C:\FeralHeart or where the main directory is.

It looks awesome, but it would look even better if it were just a bit brighter.

You can tweak the settings yourself in the MasterEffect.h file. Open it up with a text editor, then what you're probably looking for is bloom or adjusting the curves a bit.
