After logging in to the forum, go to the profile tab, located right underneath your picture. On the lefthand side of your summary, you should "Forum Profile Information". Go there.

There will be a white box where you can write your signature, which will show up every time you post (For example, mine is a picture of my lion, Tooth, with other stuffs written beneath it.) You can go back and edit it at any time.

If you want to put a picture in your signature, upload the picture you want to a site like imgur or tinypic. You'll see an option for "Forums and Messaging boards." Copy that link, and paste it into your signature.

The link/code should look something like the text inside this yellow box.

Code: [Select]
[IMG]IMAGE LINK HERE[/IMG]
There's also a way to change your text's color, size, font, and give it other effects.

AlphaEclipse's Guide to BBCode (http://www.feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=51824.0)

Hopefully, this helps. Is there anything else that you'd like to know?

Is it possible to go on the web and copy the link from an image online?

Ah, yes, ye may use images already on the internet. Simply right click the image and select the option to "Copy Image Address" or "Copy Image URL" and past that into the coding that Edol has provided ye with.

The only thing close to what you said is "copy link". Is that right?

The tutorial that Preach has provided should do the trick! But if y'er still 'aving issues, then yes, "copy link" should do the trick if ye right clicked the image and that was the only option shown.

I'm not quite sure if the IMG code is any different from the normal URL code, as I 'ave not compared the two. I've always just used the normal URL code provided once ye right click an image. However, the IMG may work better, so I'd r'commend using that one if possible.

I almost am done the tutorial but there is a problem: the only codes I'm offered are Email and IM, Slideshow, and HTML. Can someone help me? (I suspect I may have an updated version of photobucket)

Unless there is a simpler way, what you can do is click on the picture and save it on your computer. Then , assuming that you already have the desired look / cropped anything out / etc, you can then try and upload the file on tinypic or imgur and use the coding that Edol provided ~?

Make sure you're also copying the "Image Address", not the link. The image won't show up unless its the image address. I think in most browsers you can right click and there will be an option that says "Copy Image Address" .This will be the address you'll want to past between your [img] brackets.

Thanks for every person's help because it worked!(although it's to the left instead of the middle of the page, but I don't care as long as I have one)

Glad that it worked ^^ & for reference, if you wanted the picture centered you can click the center that's for the text and insert the coding for the image and it should work. c:

Locking this since the issue was resolved. If you want the image to be centered, just put

Code: [Select]
[center]STUFF HERE[/center]
in your signature
